The hotel is perfectly maintained and run by the sweetest staff. The property has a nice spa area with saunas and an indoor pool. It also has thermal baths close by. Its a great spot to get away from the city but could be a little boring for younger people

Everything was perfect during my weekend stay. ||The hotel has a warm, old-fashioned feel to it and is incredibly cozy and comfortable. But there was nothing outdated about the bathroom, which was modern, well-heated, with a huge shower that had perfect water pressure!||Guests are made to feel very welcome, when checking in thanks to the professional and kind welcome as well as in the restaurant where the staff are wonderfully attentive and friendly. Although the restaurant had a small choice of dishes (dinner menu) the food was delicious and very fresh.

Excellent service - attentive and caring. I was there with my Mother - and we had certain specific requirements due to her age and reduced mobility. The Hotel staff paid special attention to our needs and were always friendly and polite. The food was very good (breakfast and dinner) and restaurant service was also very good. Our room was large and comfortable and well appointed. The style is old-fashioned, but we did not mind that. Overall - very good and recommended.

We were at the end of a holiday mainly in Malta and then seeing friends in Switzerland. As we were flying back to Scotland from Basel we looked for a conveniently located hotel. We could not believe how fortunate we have been in all respects. ||The hotel is located in the southern Black Forest and the drive, from the south, not on the quickest route was a wonderful way to approach the very scenic town of Badenweiler. It has so very much to commend it from its scenic park, Roman remains, Spa bath with views to go with it. ||But it was arriving at the hotel presented the best of welcomes. Set within walking distance of both the town centre and the forest both of which were visited in our far-too-brief s stay. Set in delightful gardens we received a warm welcome. The room was an upgrade to a beautifully presented room with balcony overlooking the garden. ||The cuisine we experienced from coffee and cakes, evening meal and breakfast were simply delicious with warm and friendly service. ||Apart from the walk in the forest and around the delightful town, we also enjoyed the use of the swimming pool and related facilities. What a well presented and relaxing place. ||As we were only booked for one night, we delayed our departure until after lunch. We will not make the mistake of just staying one night next time. ||A friendly and welcoming hotel were the family’s influence is always present.

This was the BEST Relais et Chateaux that we ever stayed at. the hotel looked brand new. The service was excellent and the surroundings were beautiful. We ate breakfast and dinner here and sometimes lunch. The meals were delicious and beautifully presented. Also, great wine list to choose from.

We enjoyed a pleasant stay at this typical German hotel. A very friendly and attentive staff, details like your name on parking spot and dinner table and so on. The room is spacious, large bathroom, and with comfy beds.. Unfortunately the TV was a bit small with no english working channels… We also missed a complementary water, tea and cafe service in the room, as we do find today in most if not all hotels of this (price)-level. The breakfast was nice although missing real fresh juices… The night was, unfortunately, uncomfortable, due to the fact that, without air conditioning nor a fan, the room became extremely hot. We did not sleep at all in a room of 29 celcius Again, with this pricelevel these inconveniences should not occur in a Relais & Château. We do recommend, but not during hot summer days. The restaurant is convenient.

We stayed only one night. We were met by our car by a very friendly lady who helped us with our luggage and check in. It was all very very easy. The hotel is in very good order and all the staff are so friendly. We are definitely coming here again. The rooms are large and beds are comfortable. Nice spacious bathrooms. Soft towels. The restaurant is super charming and again PERFECT and friendly service. You really feel like you are appreciated. The dinner was very reasonable and top notch quality food. Wow.

Visited with my Mother and a friend. Excellent Service - very attentive to all our needs, especially my mother and her reduced mobility needs. |All details were taken care of, the head of housekeeping came to us to check if everything was in order, and overall the accommodation, food and service were excellent.
