Hotel Shadab is one of those iconic spots in Hyderabad that lives up to the hype — and yes, like most popular eateries in the city, be ready for a bit of a wait. We waited around 15 minutes to get a table, but the food made it absolutely worth it.
We started with the Mutton Roast, which was cooked to perfection — tender, juicy, and packed with flavor. Next came Murgh ke Sholay, a smoky, spicy chicken dish that paired beautifully with the green chutney and tandoori roti.
Of course, we couldn’t leave without trying their Mutton Biryani. The meat was soft and well-cooked, and the rice had that signature Hyderabadi aroma and spice blend.
Three of us ate to our hearts content and the bill came to ₹1600 — great value for the quality and quantity of food.
If you’re visiting Hyderabad and want to explore authentic local flavors, Hotel Shadab is a must-visit. Just go with a little patience — the wait is worth every bite!
