We visited Hotel Shadab after hearing a lot of good reviews. Tried their breakfast – had Mutton Paya, Keema, and Bread. Honestly, the taste was average, except for the Keema, which was quite good. However, the cleanliness needs serious improvement. The hand wash area was very dirty, and overall hygiene could be much better. With a little more attention to cleanliness and consistency in taste, this place can live up to the hype.

It’s crowded anytime of the day. Taste is fine and good. Quantity also sufficient But it’s bit costly 420 for a normal mutton Biriyani doesn’t justify the taste Anyways it’s the legendary place, you can experience once Note: only cash and card, No UPI

We visited Shadab Hotel for lunch during our trip to Hyderabad and had a memorable food experience. We ordered their famous Hyderabadi Biryani and Kebabs, and the taste was truly exceptional. The biryani, in particular, was one of the best we've ever had in Hyderabad — perfectly cooked rice, aromatic spices, and tender meat made it absolutely delightful. The kebabs were also juicy and full of flavor. The staff at the restaurant were courteous and attentive. However, we did face a slight inconvenience while waiting for a clean table. The cleaner seemed inattentive and delayed in responding to the manager’s instructions, making us wait over 10 minutes near our designated table before it was cleaned. This was a bit disappointing in an otherwise smooth experience. That said, the quality of the food makes it totally worth a visit. If you’re in the Charminar area, Shadab is definitely a must-try for authentic Hyderabadi flavors.

Hotel Shadab is one of those iconic spots in Hyderabad that lives up to the hype — and yes, like most popular eateries in the city, be ready for a bit of a wait. We waited around 15 minutes to get a table, but the food made it absolutely worth it. We started with the Mutton Roast, which was cooked to perfection — tender, juicy, and packed with flavor. Next came Murgh ke Sholay, a smoky, spicy chicken dish that paired beautifully with the green chutney and tandoori roti. Of course, we couldn’t leave without trying their Mutton Biryani. The meat was soft and well-cooked, and the rice had that signature Hyderabadi aroma and spice blend. Three of us ate to our hearts content and the bill came to ₹1600 — great value for the quality and quantity of food. If you’re visiting Hyderabad and want to explore authentic local flavors, Hotel Shadab is a must-visit. Just go with a little patience — the wait is worth every bite!

Veg Food ***** Non Veg Food - Starters ***** Non Veg Food - Main Course ***** Desert ***** Thank you Shadab for treating us with great food, both Veg and Non-veg. We were seriously disappointed by the overhyped Paradise Biryani but had a great flavorful food experience with you. We visited on a mid-week afternoon and it was pretty crowded, which I expect could be better managed. The inside dining room that was opened after long wait, was conjusted and suffocating and could have been opened and ready to seat, in anticipation. Hopefully these feedbacks be addressed when we visit next. See you soon..

Recently i have visited the restaurant on 13-07-2025. With some of my friends. First I didn’t like the servicing method of staff.🫩 It takes time to get your table, It takes time to clean the table in-front of you it takes time to take the order It takes time to get the order. With this much waiting, expecting to have tasty food. But it food order was not tasty, its like watery. 🤢 Especially the raitha and the gravey no word to explain the taste 😵‍💫 I felt like fake promotion of this review

Trigger Warning! In the search of excellency I settled at mediocrity. When you hear Hyderabad and you are a foodie(Non Vegetarian) the first word which will come is "Biryani" and rightly so, with its world famous PR based Paradise Biryani/Shadab Biryani it is bound to happen. But when you taste it then the reality hits you. With all the hype I went to this restaurant after tasting the Paradise biryani expecting a stark taste difference and excellency. But excitement fell short immediately afte the first bite. The biryani was bland and not much depth in taste as it was expected. Good amount of mutton pieces were there but rice was not flavourfull. Also the quantity of rice is more than suitable for 2 persons, so plan accordingly. Overall 6/10 Then I had Qurbani ka meetha, it was overly sweet and average in taste(although a unique taste) ---------------- Atmosphere Be ready to sit at some random uncleaned table with Random person atleast on the group floor. No hygiene maintainance at all. Avoid going on a car and in traffic hours, you will end up wasting 1-2 houra extra. But if you are going to visit Charminar then you have stopby and have a taste of history.
