Jimmy Buffett-Branded Restaurant Replacing Jsix in the East Village | Eater San Diego
"I'm bracing for an influx of Hawaiian shirt-clad tourists: the 15-year-old boutique Hotel Solamar in the East Village is being taken over by Jimmy Buffett’s Margaritaville brand and will receive an island-themed overhaul; its signature restaurant Jsix will be replaced by an incoming Margaritaville eatery whose menu includes coconut shrimp, Jimmy’s Jammin’ Jambalaya®, and a Cheeseburger in Paradise. According to the Union-Tribune, the transformation is scheduled to be completed next year." - Candice Woo
