"Culinary excellence is guaranteed at Hotel Stein, thanks to chef-patron Mike Schiller and his intriguing four- to six-course set menu, in which he skilfully combines Mediterranean and Asian influences. Flavoursome and robust, the stocks and sauces are particularly noteworthy, with the vegetable broth being a standout. Also worth mentioning is the superb quality of the ingredients. A vegetarian version of the set menu and the surprise menu can be ordered (24hr) in advance. Out on the restaurant floor, the friendly maître d', Melanie Stein-Schiller, is in charge of service. The bright conservatory and the charming garden terrace are both delightful spots in which to dine. Top tip: Head to the shop for home-made delicacies to take away." - Michelin Inspector

Great hotel located downtown right by the river, which is ideal for walking or jogging. The rooms are clean and tidy, and the staff is polite and professional. They have free parking and GREAT breakfast by European or American standards. I highly recommend this hotel :)

Had a wonderful dinner at Schiller's Manufaktur. The service was top-notch and the dining area was cozy and inviting. We wish we would have come earlier in the day to get a better view of the outdoor area. And now for the food - absolutely fantastic, went with the Garden menu. The flavors of each dish were so wonderful and the presentation was gorgeous. Couldn’t have been more pleased with the meal. One of my favorite courses was the “goulash” of pepper wrapped potato with mushrooms that came with spätzle - a wonderful German touch to an already very delicious dish. A review can’t really capture how good the food was. I’d encourage anyone visiting Koblenz looking for a meal like this to go and try it for themselves.

Had the 5 course menu along with the wine menu at the Schiller's Restaurant to celebrate our anniversary. Extraordinary service! the best i have ever experienced, very welcoming and friendly staff. The chef came out to greet us, and one could see from his delicious beautifully presented dishes how enthusiastic and passionate he is about cooking. Made the whole experience thoroughly enjoyable and our anniversary extra special. Very nice ambiance. The salmon was my favorite dish, however the vegetable dishes were also very delicious and creative. Pricey as you would expect, but totally worth it. Highly recommend!

This little hotel is a gem. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We had a standard room which was more than adequate. Extremely clean. Do suggest though that you ask for a lower floor room as we had the top floor and it was very hot. The AC is a small unit that they use room air to cool but it not sufficient enough. It was cooler on the lower floors.||||The restaurant on the premises is amazing. Very good food and lovely servers. We had a wonderful first night in Germany with the Hotel Stein.||||Free parking in the back of the hotel.

Considerably overpriced hotel in need of an update. Our room was on the small side, and looked like it had not been updated in quite a while, with signs of wear. Both beds were literally sagging in the middle, creaking, and had holes in the bed sheets. The breakfast was standard fare, if you wanted something extra like an egg or fruit salad you had to ask for it as the staff would not volunteer this. One waiter was wearing his face mask hanging down while serving food. On a positive note, parking is free, and the breakfast room overlooking the garden is very nice.

We stayed here for the weekend as we wanted to visit Koblenz to take boat tour and visit fortress. The hotel is not on the city side of the town but is a very walkable and a taxi across town to either centre or where Rhine cruises leaves only costs less than €10. The hotel,is standard and spotlessly clean. Every member of staff that we encountered could not have been friendlier or more helpful. Rooms are comfortable and breakfast is standard fare and only warm option was boiled eggs, though no issues with it.

I only stayed here one night. The room I got was very clean and I really love finding small welcome gifts in hotel rooms; they left Haribo candies on my bed. I also liked having pre-dinner drinks and dinner in this hotel. The breakfast I liked very much. There was a variety of choices to choose from. They seem to excel in the resto more though. The hotel did not have a fitness room or a SPA. Parking area is limited. If you have to park a car and you are checking in late, there is a big possibility that you won't find space because of the dinner guests at the restaurants.

Starting with people i.e., staff, they are simply good and courteous. Very helpful and supportive. Food, Drinks n Snacks - No issues with drinks. Good roasted salted peanuts for munching... Food is a big negative factor... Very less selection thereby limited in options. Taste wise, it's alright... Location - Very easily accessible and right beside the road. If one can walk for 15-20 mins, City centre is close by. Accommodation - Not that great. Very very noisy to an extent that even the sounds from the rooms beside and above are audible. Ventilator is not working. Water in the bathroom gets either gets too cold or too hot. Temperature control doesn't work properly.... Overall would not recommend getting to this hotel unless there is no option or if there are any improvements noticed
