Hôtel Sub

This place is a gem! Super clean, good amenities and situated in a vibrant town. I did have a private room which was cozy. And of course, the Juliet balcony adds that Parisian charm. If you’re looking for a hotel away from the hustle and bustle of central paris, Hotel Sub is a good choice. Highly recommend!

Overall a decent hotel, however the walls are so thing you’ll be able to hear your neighbors like you’re camping right next to them. No sound insulation whatsoever.

I added 85 Euros to upgrade to a private room and I am happy to have made that choice. The room was roomy and the amenities were complete to a hotel’s standard. The location is good for what I needed - I commuted from Versailles to Hotel Sub and then to Paris for some nighttime photography then back until a morning bus ride to Paris Beauvais. My achievement here is that I did not take a taxi or Uber to Beauvais. It is doable to take the bus to La Defense to catch the Aerobus and make it in time for your flight. Morning estimations of arrival times are accurate and Beauvais is a small airport - walking to the gate is rather immediate. Stay at Hotel Sub!

Sub Hotel is located at 2 RER train station far from the city center, so it's not easy to say "I will have a walk here in the neighborhood" cause there's nothing around. Luckily, the train and bus stations are super close and it's easy to reach the city center! Check-in and check-out were super and super fast, the staff is nice and they were ready to answer any questions! The elevator is small, but big enough to carry a big luggage and 2 small girls like me and mum. Breakfast was simple but had the essentials that could make it go through the day till dinner! Talking about the room, we stayed on a Superior (room 38, at the end of the corridor) and it was big enough to fit 2 people, I can't imagine the Comfort rooms. The bathroom was nice, and renewed, missed only a couple of hangers for the towels to dry. Bed was comfy enough, pillows a little bit less, but if you're really tired, it works! Attention to the heater! You need to be able to use your phone in order to make it work.

I have booked the room for 3 nights. When I came to the hotel, I have decided to stay for 1 night only and cancel the other 2 nights. The hotel manager confirmd the cancellation, but told me the refund would be paid in 5 days due to the booking made through Agoda. After 5 days they did not refund me at all, the do not answer to my emails, or emails from Agoda support team. Just pure fraud.

It was my first solo trip, and I arrived with a lot of luggage and some anxiety. However, the warm welcome from the staff immediately put my mind at ease. I’m so glad I chose this hotel! The room was clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was delicious. Even though I don’t speak much English, the staff were incredibly kind and patient with me. Thanks to them, I was able to create wonderful memories during my stay. Also, seeing Togouchi Japanese whiskey (戸河内)displayed at the entrance brought a sense of comfort to me. ♡ Thank you for such a wonderful experience!

The best hostel in Paris. It is very clean, comfortable, and has a sweetie atmosphere. I put 5 stars for location because in this place, you can feel the real French culture, see the local people, and visit local markets. Thank you, guys.
