Snug. Clean, well laid out room for its compact size. Comfortable bed and temperature. Lots of shelving. Excellent reception service. Very helpful. Very close to restaurants and an amazing market. Good access to transit and the old Town.

The location is very good; relatively central and there’s a Metro station nearby.||The staff were wonderfully friendly and helpful, allowing me to check in earlier than expected and lending me an adapter as I had forgotten to pack mine.||The room was an incredibly small single, but it served its purpose well. The ceiling were awfully low and I hit my head countless times. Countless because I either did it so many times I could not keep count, or I did it so many times it gave me a concussion.||The room I had was one that was shown in the pictures of booking.com and the pictures really are tarted up. The decor left a little to be desired, the toilet and shower were not enclosed and were within touching distance of the bed.||Overall though, it’s a pretty decent and comfortable hotel!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this hotel and it was an absolutely amazing experience! From the moment I walked in, I was struck by the vibrant and youthful atmosphere, which was complemented by the friendly and welcoming staff. The room was spotlessly clean and had a fresh, modern design that was simply delightful. I loved how everything was so well organized and thoughtfully placed, making my stay incredibly comfortable and convenient. And then there was the food...oh my goodness, the food! It was hands down the best I've ever had. The chefs at this hotel have truly mastered the art of blending traditional Lyon dishes with haute cuisine, creating a unique culinary experience that was both familiar and adventurous. Each dish was a visual feast, with exquisite flavors and innovative combinations that kept me coming back for more. I was blown away by the level of expertise and creativity in the kitchen, and it's no wonder that this hotel has such a stellar reputation for its food. Overall, I can't recommend this hotel highly enough. The combination of a fresh and modern atmosphere, top-notch amenities, and incredible food make it a true standout. I left feeling rejuvenated, inspired, and eager to return for another stay in the future. If you're looking for a truly exceptional hotel experience, look no further than this one!

Wonderful location close to the peninsula with a metro station, Foch, under three minutes away by foot. My single room was tiny, (6 square metres aparently) the lavatory and shower together, no wardrobe...but there was a table. However, the bed and room were spotless and I was comfortable. The location, in what would seem to be a very safe neighbourhood, is my overriding positive of the hotel. I didn't use the restaurant but the ambiance was encouraging.

I had the pleasure of staying here with my husband last weekend. We were treated like friends and our needs and desires were taken care of by the very professional and friendly staff. We got a room upgrade and they prepared for me a very delicious gourmet appetizer that was outside of the menu. The attention to details really impressed me. Would definitely return here any time and recommend these guys from my heart. Thank you for making our stay in Lyon that much more enjoyable 😊❤️

This hotel is very centrally located, the rooms are very clean and the breakfast is impressive (by French standards). Most of all, however, I enjoyed the friendly staff, always willing to have a small chat or provide you with some advice.||We, from America, expect large hotel rooms. Here the rooms are rather "sized down", like nearly always in France.

I have never written a review before, but I have to for the perfect service provided. Room tends to be a little small but plenty. The service was one of the best ive experienced. We asked for many requests from the staff and all of them went above and beyond to serve only the best. For example, when we inquired about water, the staff was willing to offer water from the bar on top of explaining the tap water was potable. Many instances of this led to this perfect review for service. Hotel Taggat is really impressive.
