Hotel Telegraaf (Tallinn, Estonia) 6 Hotel Reviews | Tablet Hotels

"The historic center of Tallinn is rich with architectural history, even as the city has emerged as a modern European capital. And something similar can be said for the Hotel Telegraaf — though it’s housed in a 19th-century building that was once the city’s telegraph exchange, it’s a thoroughly modern luxury boutique hotel." - Tablet Hotels

This is the best Bonvoy property in the Baltic. I have stayed here a couple times now and have never been disappointed. The hotel is in the perfect location for those visiting the “old city” part of Tallinn. You are steps aways from the main square and the hotel is inside the ancient city walls of Tallinn. The hotel is a fantastic mix of a historic building with fully modern rooms and renovated spaces. The hotel restaurant is excellent and the outdoor space is great for eating a delicious, full breakfast before starting your day exploring the city. Having stayed here multiple times, if you aren’t staying in a suite, ask to be out in the newer section of the hotel as the rooms are set up like a modern hotel room with a nice full soda. The rooms also have balcony doors that open up to fresh air and it makes for a great night’s sleep up have the gentle cool breeze come in off the nearby sea. It is also very quiet and relaxing. My only complaint (if you can call it that) is that there is no on-site gym. You have to walk a couple blocks to a local fitness club and show your room key to get in (with no charge). The fitness club closes by 8:30pm, so for those wanting 24/7 gym access, I found a state of the art gym above the grocery store near the hotel where you swipe your credit card for €6 and are let in whenever you want.

Absolutely beautiful hotel with a very kind and welcoming staff. The lobby decor is elegant and the bartender makes the best limoncello spritzer. Our room was elegant and very comfortable. We had a bottle of champagne and some amazing chocolates waiting for us as well. I think that was an upgrade but what a nice way to start our time in Tallinn. I think the Autograph hotels are a big notch above all the rest. If I were to come here again this would be the place I’d stay!

We had a very enjoyable stay at Hotel Telegraaf. The location truly can't be beat - right in the heart of Tallinn's Old Town, just steps from beautiful historic sites, charming streets and great restaurants. It made exploring the city incredibly convenient.||Breakfast was wonderful each morning. The selection was generous, fresh and beautifully presented, with both hot and cold options. The made to order omelets were my favorite!||Our room for three was on the smaller side and began to feel cramped by the third night. The main downside was the shower design - I don't know how you don't get water all over the bathroom floor. Enclosing it fully would be better.||Overall, we'd stay here again for the location and pleasant staff.

We only stayed for 1 night but had a great time in Tallinn and stay here. 10 years since our last visit to the Telegraaf Hotel, the rooms are much the same as we recalled. The bed was comfortable with crisp white sheets and two pillows each. Our room overlooked some other buildings but was quiet over night which suited us. We would stay here again and would not hesitate in recommending to friends.||NB There is a really nice restaurant to the right of the hotel as you leave the entrance and a few door further down in the ‘Elephant’ Indian restaurant which was also great.

Great central location with a place to park your car. Elegant room, smallish bathroom. Good breakfast selection but if you order eggs be prepared for a wait. In four days only one day they were quick. Staff helpful but a bit stiff.

This is a very nice hotel. The biggest plus is the location. If you want to be in the Old Town with so much to see and so many places to eat and drink this is the location for you. The staff was very friendly and helpful and there is a good restaurant in the hotel but we did not eat there. Everything about the rooms is very nice but my wife and I felt cramped. We arrived on Sunday with a room rate of 400+ euros. We were told we received an upgrade but the room still felt small.|The rate was much cheaper on Monday and Tuesday. There was accommodation for instant coffee and tea in the room. I would recommend the hotel.

Upscale hotel in a perfect Old Town location. Great service, comfortable rooms, parking available, and late check-out was a plus. The Shower-in-bathtub setup wasn’t ideal, but overall very pleased with the stay.

This was a really luxurious stay in the heart of Tallinn's Old Town. The hotel was small, but had a true boutique hotel feel to it and the stay was exceptionally comfortable. Breakfast was a real treat with both a good selection of hot & cold items. The eggs benedict was really nice, though quality was very inconsistent. The room was well equipped with a working space, comfortable lounge chairs and a spacious bathroom with a nice tub. We had a nice view of the street from our room. We did try both the lobby bar and the Restaurant Tchaikovsky. The bar was really nice and the selection of cocktails and wines was great. The restaurant was Michelin recommended, but we found it did not meet expectations for Michelin quality and definitely recommend Rado next door, for better quality and cost. We had the most overcooked halibut I have ever had. Service at the restaurant was generally good, though. The spa was truly the best part of the stay. Both the massage services and just enjoying a swim, soak and steam really made this stay feel luxurious. The spa was really small, but very beautifully oriented with glass ceilings and fake plants that made it feel like a hidden garden oasis.
