My stay at the Telegraaf Hotel in Tallinn was nothing short of fantastic. The location in the heart of Old Town is unbeatable — just steps away from the city’s most charming streets, historic landmarks, and vibrant atmosphere.||The staff were exceptional: welcoming, attentive, and genuinely eager to make the experience memorable. I was pleasantly surprised to receive a room upgrade, which I greatly appreciated and which made my stay even more special- the two bedroom suite is incredible, loved the Russian Neoclassical/Empire style, with a lovely view of Old Town.||The hotel's restaurant Tchaikovsky, was a highlight. On Friday night, they had a classical string and keyboard trio that was amazing and added to the ambiance of 19th century classic period. Though I did not physically eat in the restaurant many of the items from its menu were also on the lobby bar menu, that I enjoyed. The food was exquisite, beautifully presented, and paired with impeccable service. It was truly one of my finest culinary experiences in Tallin.||The Telegraaf Hotel is special. Its blend of historic grandeur and modern comfort creates a unique atmosphere that feels both elegant and inviting. The interiors are tastefully designed, combining luxury with a sense of timeless character. The hotel itself is steeped in history, housed in a building constructed in 1878, which originally served as the Estonian Telegraph Office and later a communication center. Its history is also tied to the 1924 failed coup attempt, as the telegraph office was a target for communication. After the building's time as a communication hub ended in 1991, it underwent a major refurbishment in 2006 and reopened as a luxury hotel in 2007. ||Overall, Telegraaf Hotel offers the perfect mix of location, service, and style. Whether for business or leisure, it’s a place that makes you feel cared for and connected to the rich history of Tallinn. I would gladly return and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the city.
