I had a wonderful solo stay at Tiki Tiki Hotel Tulum! I loved the hammock in the room as well as the beautiful interior design <3. I looked forward to the breakfast by Julia each morning - it was absolutely awesome and set a great tone for the day. The hotel’s sweet cat was also a lovely companion. Perfect spot for any solo traveler—I highly recommend!

We booked Hotel Tiki Tiki from Thursday to Sunday for a group of over 30 guests for our wedding, and the entire experience was fantastic. The hotel is stylish, clean, and welcoming—but what really stood out was the service. **Julie, the manager, was amazing to work with.** She was incredibly helpful, organized, and made coordinating our large group seamless. Her attention to detail and communication made all the difference. **Lorenzo, the bartender, was also outstanding.** He made fantastic drinks, was extremely professional, and brought great energy every night. Everyone loved him! The rest of the staff—from the front desk to housekeeping—were friendly, professional, and truly made us feel welcome. Every detail was handled with care. Highly recommend Hotel Tiki Tiki for any kind of stay—**easily a 10/10 experience!**

What began as a recommendation from the Michelin Guide app turned into one of the best hotel experiences I’ve had in quite some time.||Tiki Tiki is not your typical hotel, and as a guest, you quickly realise that you are treated in a quite special way. ||It's not just you, It's their philosophy to everything!||Every aspect of our stay was thoughtfully curated, from the vibrant, fresh and fulfilling breakfast to the serene moments spent lounging in the shade, overlooking the tranquil glowing pool surrounded by lush greenery and swaying trees.||When I first chose Tiki Tiki, I liked the way they had composed their interior. On days when I had to work, at least the kids, would enjoy themselves in a pool that is just a gaze a way. But boy it was only the beginning!||Every detail in the hotel is crafted with intention—from the carefully selected tiles to the curated Bossa Nova music that fills the air. The staff, Naomi and the hotel manager, Julie, so personable and extremely caring at every interaction. ||That aspect really elevates every experience. ||I'd sit and have a drink at the bar every afternoon, or when I would return from a day of exploration. Rich conversations with the bartender, Lorenzo, who is also a great artist – he kind of reminded me of Salvador Dali. His drinks equally impressive—elegant and flavourful, perfectly balanced without being overwhelming. ||Tiki Tiki strikes a harmonious balance between perfection and effortless charm.||I would return to Tulum just to stay at Tiki Tiki again. Whether I’m writing another research paper, composing poetry, or simply using it as a base to explore the authentic beauty of Tulum, this hotel would be my choice.||It’s not just about the reasonable nightly rates; it’s about the invaluable and impeccable customer service paired with exquisite taste at every turn. ||The swings, trees, butterflies, and morning birds chirping create a serene atmosphere filled with sunlight and Bossa nova music—a true feast for all the senses.||This experience has both kids and I with an aftertaste that would last a lifetime!

This hotel is a gorgeous oasis of calm. The interiors are lovely. The people working here are incredibly friendly. There is a lovely chilled vibe to the place, and you are walking distance to some gorgeous restaurants. You can visit some lovely cenotes nearby. We had a really lovely stay here.

What a gem! Tucked away in Tulum but near lots if great bars and restaurants Tiki Tiki is a fabulous boutique hotel! The people and service there outshines many 5* hotels I've stayed at! Nothing was too much trouble to arrange and their hints and tips were bang on point! Wouldn't hesitate in recommending and will definitely stay again if /when we return. ||It's also really cool with a funky mid-century modern vibe and great little pool with cocktail bar. Plus it's reasonably priced unlike a lot of other places in Tulum

Really lovely little spot in Tulum town. Very laid back and quiet. Amazing breakfast every day. And the best bartender! Having access to Holistika was great, and that may have been one of the best yoga classes I’ve ever been to. Very meditative and restorative. We rented a scooter to get around and to the beach and it was great.

We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Tiki Tiki. Although it’s located in an area still under development in Tulum, it’s not far from the town center and offers a peaceful, quiet neighborhood surrounded by nature, almost in the jungle. The highlight of the hotel was the excellent service provided by the friendly staff, along with the comfy beds and delightful breakfast. A highly recommended option for staying in Tulum, away from the commercial and noisy zona hotelera.

Very comfortable rooms, private, great bar and pool area. Highly recommend if your looking for off the beaten path and not in tourist area. Never quiet and quaint. If you want peace and quiet in walking distance to all you need this place checks all boxes. Far from beach but thats part we loved. Great managment.

Yelp
We stayed at Hotel Tiki Tiki for five nights. Beautiful hotel and super attentive and friendly staff! Not to mention the drinks at the bar. While the included breakfast was simple the yogurt and fruit was always fresh. And the location is a bit out of the way but perfect if you prefer to explore like we did! I would definitely stay here again if I'm ever back in Tulum.

Yelp
I stayed in March of 2017. The aesthetic of the hotel is what drew me in and it does not disappoint. The lobby, the pool, the rooms are beautiful. When we checked into our 1st floor room, we were a bit alarmed that it was quite musty and smelled a bit of mold. We are very susceptible to this as I have gotten bronchitis in the past from a moldy hotel room. With a bit of talking, we were moved into a 2nd floor room and it was much better. The walls of the buildings were soaked from the rains and you could see the moisture at least 4 feet up from the ground. The second floor room also had far less bugs crawling around so I would avoid the 1st floor rooms in general. The staff was great. We dealt mostly with Anna and Nelly and they were very helpful and friendly. There were a few things that were negatives for us though. We were aware it was a bit far from town and the beach but we took taxis and rented bikes for one day. I think $135MP per bike is expensive considering a lot of hotels in town offer complementary bikes. I wouldn't have minded if the bikes were better in quality but they weren't. It's a small cost that seemed a bit petty to charge for. Breakfast choices are very minimal and expensive for what you are given. It's much better to go into town for food in general. We hung out at the bar a bit and although the drinks are good, they are beach prices far from the beach. You will be charged 150 MP per. Unfortunately no one told us there was a beach club we could have gone to. That would have been nice to know. If you have transportation this is a very nice place to stay.

Yelp
Very calm and relaxing. On the outskirt of Tulum where there are both residential and commercial properties. Commercial on the main road entrance. Deer Tulum, Gypsea Market, and a really cute bakery/coffee shop in between who's name I can't recall are walking distance from the hotel. We stopped by daily to get some coffee since the hotel coffee is not that great. Loved the daily fresh fruit and yogurt/granola bowls with fresh OJ in the morning however! The service was great. The people working the concierge were very friendly and had made some nice suggestions when we asked. The room was very clean. It had a hammock and balcony. Our room was overlooking the pool. The bathroom was large and phenomenal! I love a large shower area. AC present if needed. No TV. Comfortable beds and pillows. Lots of storage and a safe. Fridge + snacks available for extra $ included. Free WiFi. Affordable. Would stay here again.

Yelp
Highly recommend this place. Great value, tastefully designed (apparently it's owned by an architect), and clean. The staff were all very nice, from the front desk, to the bartenders, to the servers, to the cleaning staff. It's a mile or two to the beach, and less to town. Close to cenote Escondido and Cristal, which are also recommended.
