Paolo Teverini

"Situated in the charming village of Bagno di Romagna and surrounded by beautiful rolling hills, Teverini is a culinary name full of history in this area. The cuisine here demonstrates different traditions – the local region is an obvious influence (especially its mushrooms), but fish and seafood also feature along with plenty of vegetables." - Michelin Inspector

We had a great time at the hotel with Chef Paolo's Cooking Class. The hotel staff is fantastic, rooms very unique and special, lots of room. Wines are awesome, breakfast best I have had anywhere in the world, period, been to over 54 countries, some multiple times. Staff at breakfast were great. Cannot say enough about the hotel. Free espresso, water, cookies by the fire place, very special location in the beautiful town. Recommend highly.

Weekend trip. My partner had booked the junior suite. Check in was very easy. The room was very spacious but a bit dated. That being said, the mattress was impeccable. The bathroom was clean and had a heated rack (super useful for all the wet swimwear). One issue was the lack of hot water in the evening, something we overheard other guests complaining about. Despite its very central location, the area is quiet. The biggest spa in town is on the other side of the road. Parking is easy: 4€ a day on the street, 7€ a day for the hotel parking. Breakfast was beautiful, with plenty of vegetarian friendly options. Staff was very friendly. Bonus: a heated pool on the roof. Overall, a nice place to stay but the weekend price doesn't match the quality of the service.

Two trains and a 1.5 hour bus ride from Rome made the days travel long and hot, (subsequently found out I could have got the one bus from Rome, oh well). Being there in the height of summer meant the the hotel and the town were not that busy. After the hustle and bustle of Rome, the overall serenity of the hotel was very welcome. The staff were always engaging and helpful, the room a good size double, very clean, with good size bed and bathroom. The restaurant was excellent in both service and quality of food. The breakfast buffet was acceptable quality. The wellness centre was excellent and the full body aromatherapy massage was excellent. Made some great friends in the town.||My only disconcerting experience was returning to the hotel in the wee hours after being out with new friends and finding the doors locked. Never been to a hotel where the doors were locked after midnight. Found something that looked like an intercom (not marked and no instructions so just guessed) and pressed and pressed and pressed. Finally a detached voice speaks to me in Italian and I explain in English who I am give my room number and whoever it was I was speaking to, let me in. I noticed a slot next it it for key card access, maybe better, if they insist on locking the door, that they could give card keys to guests who may be out and about in the wee hours so they can let themselves in. Other than this one off experience, loved the hotel and would stay there when I visit the lovely town again.

The room is vintage but still maintained in a super good condition, it’s clean and comfortable. The service staff is warm and welcome. Food is fresh and good, most importantly most of the food coming from local, will definitely recommend others to stay here!

I visited the hotel Tosco Romagnolo in January for short and relaxing break during winter time. I liked the roof top swimming pool with thermal water. The room was nice with a pretty view over the little village rooftops. The buffet breakfast was a real treat with plenty of choices and handmade original jams. Highly recommended for couples especially if you are looking for a relaxing and peaceful time. Slow paced holidays. If you book with booking.com be aware the entrance to the swimming is not included so there is an extra bit to pay.

Great hotel, great service and personnel. Breakfast and meals were really good.||Excellent warm swimming pool on the roof with beautiful view.||Spectacular private spa in the junior suite.||The only cons was the bathroom in the first room which was tiny, but still functional.

Only thing was that the temperature was a little bit to high for us during sleeping. Personal very helpful. Breakfast excellent, many things to choose.
