Hotel und Restaurant Bergfriedel

This is my favorite place to stay when I am in the area. I used to travel to Germany (Buhl) once or twice a year, over ten or fifteen years. As soon as I discovered the Bergfreidel I only stayed here. Very friendly and welcoming family run business. Absolutely fabulous food! Incredible views, even of my previous favorite the Rebstock. And then there is the fabulous drive to the top of the mountain.

We had a beautiful dinner on the terrace. The setting is magnificent. The food is exceptional: classic but original and yet innovative. So much of what is on your plate is locally sourced and a delight to the eye and the palate. This is matched by superb local wines.

Great restaurant with local ingredients and beautiful view. The dishes are simple but made quite well. The fresh pasta and was particularly tasty. The service is very hospitable too, our waiter really tried her best to explain the menu to us and accommodate our needs.

Wonderful place to stay in Buehlertal with A-Mazing !! views. The owners were friendly and were so kind to give us some strawberries for our pending road trip tp Italy. The accomodation was spacious, modern and very clean. Beautiful breakfast with good variety of food. Would definitely return and recommend.

Best food in this area. Super vegan & regional menu :-) Very friendly and accommodatingly waiters. The view you have while eating is stunning! I love it there and try to visit as often as possible!

We stopped at Bergfriedel as we were passing through the Black Forest region. We were looking for someplace away from the pomp of Baden-baden, and this fit the bill very well for us. They were helpful in finding a room to suit us (we had what was basically a 2-br apartment though we were staying on B&B basis). The restaurant looked good, but we had eaten before arriving. Breakfast was the typical German spread, but everything was was of the freshest and best quality; it was the best of our trip.||||It looked like they also offer some apartments as weekly vacation rentals.||||Our rooms had a nice view looking out over the village and valley. My only gripes would be that there was a slight bit of a cigarette smell, especially on out deck and that we couldn't get the internet link to work (it wasn't an issue to us, so we didn't try too hard).

Best hotel in Germany! I could live here forever. Nice people, pleasure environment. Perfect rooms and services! I can't wait to come again! This is the appropiate place to clear your mind and feel pleasure.

To make a choice of hotel rooms is often done by gut feeling, and so were the choice of BERGFRIEDEL HOTEL done by my female friend and me. WHAT rooms, food and service! The view from this hotel situated in the hill side above Bühlertal is nice. If weather allows it you may sit on the hotel terrace, or your own balcony having your breakfast and dinner.||The food is excellent.||Some of the wines seem to be over-priced.
