I’d give this a 0 star if I could. Rudest of managers who told me something was wrong in my head when I complained that the 4 course meal included in the pamper package with room/Verwöhnpension is not at the hotel restaurant but their other owned restaurant which is in another building and has a way scaled down dinner menu which a) is completely overpriced for what it is(basic/rustic and nothing like the menus shown for the hotel restaurant) and b) contained 2 dishes that had the exact same vegetables as sides which you sense are just repurposed from other menu items. When asking the waitress it appears if you attend on a Monday the 4 course menu is at this sister restaurant and never in the hotel restaurant itself.
We also had to ask to get our welcome drink and never got our afternoon/Nachmittagsjause or before bed snack/Betthupferl.
Lastly, it was not mentioned neither at booking stage nor when I emailed to confirm that they would charge €20!!! for providing a baby cot!!! I was only informed about the charge for overnight parking which we happily accepted.
I can’t fault the rest of the staff at the hotel & brasserie (they were all very nice!), breakfast was really tasty and amazing selection of all you could possibly want, the spa is also good, although any more than 4 people in there feels a bit cramped, the rooms are comfy and it’s in a lovely location.
UPDATE following on from the response from the hotel: The reply here speaks volumes, accepting no responsibility or demonstrating manners to your guests - it was Frau Lennart who was so rude to me at reception as I made a note of the name from another staff member later that evening. For future guests there is no clear explanation when booking as to which restaurant the 4 course meal is at so don’t be so foolish (ha!) to assume it would be the one listed for their hotel otherwise the staff may simply state your lack of understanding as the problem.
