"Set in a pair of 19th-century Mallorcan stone houses whose walls still embrace parts of the nearby Royal Carthusian Monastery, this adult-only hotel genuinely has peace and quiet in its bones. Located in the heart of the Serra de Tramuntana UNESCO landscape, the place immediately slows you down after the roughly 30-minute transfer from Palma Airport (the hotel’s premium black vehicles are even parked at arrivals), and the hilltop town of Valldemossa is a pleasing five-minute stroll away. The IT Mallorca team (Miguel Conde and architect Cristina Marti) have executed a stylish, Spanish restoration using local materials, artisans and artists, while introducing African-infused interiors and outrageously large terraces that deliver phenomenal views. Service feels impressive and unforced: you get a relaxed but thorough orientation on arrival, staff remain respectfully distant unless summoned via the black landlines by the pool or spa, and the spa can be booked for an hour daily (I recommend the non‑bruising, rebalancing lymphatic drainage). Small quirks at breakfast—no questioning about eggs, toast as a given, no fussing over latte versus flat white—only add to the authentic, mountainside Mallorca vibe. The property is intimate, beautifully designed and perfect for anyone looking for a quiet and exclusive atmosphere. Every corner feels carefully curated without being flashy. The service is what truly sets it apart. The team is friendly, sincere and always ready to help without ever feeling formal or distant. They pay attention to the small things and make you feel looked after from the first moment. My room was spacious, comfortable and opened to incredible mountain views. The common areas are peaceful and ideal for slowing down. The wellness area and the restaurant are excellent, with a relaxed style that feels natural. If you want a hotel that combines privacy, top comfort and a warm human touch, Hotel Valldemossa is a standout choice

What a beautiful surprise! This was our first visit to Mallorca. We were two couples — the husbands cycling in the mornings while the wives explored or hiked. The IT Group recently bought and renovated Hotel Valldemossa, and it shows. The property is stunning, peaceful, and perfectly located near the charming town center (we love being able to walk to dinner). We visited in late October and enjoyed magical sunrises with coffee and golden-hour cava on the terrace. From a design, service, and detail perspective, Hotel Valldemossa now ranks among our favorite hotels — alongside Awasi Patagonia, Dar Ahlam (Morocco), and Zannier Phum Baitang (Cambodia). Different places, same feeling: peace and zen. A special thank you to Selim, who was incredibly attentive, friendly, and full of great recommendations and stories about Valldemossa. The cycling garage made life easy for us riders, too. Would not hesitate to recommend Hotel Valldemossa — and we can’t wait to return. PS: When checking reviews, sort by date — most older low ratings predate IT Group’s purchase. Today, Google review average would be 4.9–5-star experience

We absolutely loved our stay here! The staff are so kind and go above and beyond to make your stay the best it can possible be. We loved that the town was so close to walk to and Valdemossa itself is a great location. We did a day trip to Deia & Sóller, and the drive was so pretty! We would definitely come back.

The room is very dark! No incoming daylight or inside light. The overpriced rooms are very small - not yet renovated in detail - I hope they Will receive an upgrade very soon. The bathroom is VERY small - toilet in the small bathroom, very disappointed! When you arrive you receive too much information - better idea is to be ‘stand-by’ with whatsapp - I called 3x time the reception on arrival day : the radio was not charged - no blankets in the room to enjoy the terrace because in november the wheather is chilly. They didn’t explained us that there is a snack menu and big menu card. Some people in the resto and reception are totally not friendly! Price / quality is not correct here - no service as expected for this price. Bathrobes were very small - I think they shrunk a lot and we are no very big persons 😉 - the breakfast is very Nice and fine. On the swimmingpool we had lucky the whole day sun ☀️.

By far one of the most stunning hotels we’ve ever experienced — both the property itself and the remarkable staff. The design is on another level: chic, stylish, and effortlessly elevated. Our suite was serene and calming, with breathtaking views. The staff were genuinely gracious and went above and beyond to make our stay feel special. Our stay at Hotel Valldemossa was truly one of the best experiences of our lives. The hotel itself is absolutely stunning — the architecture, the interior decor, and the gorgeous surrounding landscape. The pool area is so tranquil with the surrounding trees and the serene bubbling of the fountain. We never had trouble finding lounge chairs by the pool. The spa experience is incredible; you get to reserve the sauna and indoor pool area for an hour at a time and enjoy it privately. It felt so nice alternating between the hot sauna and the cool water of the indoor pool. The restaurant is phenomenal. We loved all the snacks that could be delivered to you poolside (the cheese plate, the burger, the pan con tomate) and all the dinner options were sublime (especially the pork tacos, the lobster tacos, the sirloin steak, and the market fish). But what really makes Hotel Valldemossa special is the staff. We could never express our gratitude for how welcoming and accommodating they were. We actually decided to extend our stay another day because of how much we loved it there, and they kindly helped us with this and helped us extend our rental car arrangement. They also provided excellent restaurant recommendations and called to arrange reservations for us. We are so deeply grateful to Selim, Gonzalo, and Adriana for how well they took care of us and for their kind and welcoming hearts. We will absolutely be coming back and I cannot recommend Hotel Valldemossa enough.

The total experience in Hotel Valldemossa is simply breathtaking! The hotel location, guest areas, facilities and guest service are amazing. Every view conveys beauty, quality and tranquility. The food is delicious, especially the breakfast is incomparable in terms of detail and taste. There is a perfect balance between the privacy of the hotel and the lively charm of Valldemossa village. No matter which personal interaction, the management team, reception, customer care, restaurant, housekeeping, workout and wellness/spa - the entire Hotel Valldemossa team is strikingly heartfelt, engaged and professional - and makes the stay at this house an unforgettable memory. It is not the question if, but only when we will return. Thank you to all for making the hotel our wonderful home for the stay.

What an amazing and special place. The beauty of the hotel, grounds and facilities are all first class as was the incredible service and level of detail from the entire staff. From the time we arrived and were provided an enlightening and informative overview of what to do and where to do it by Selim, to the end of our stay, it was truly a first class experience for my wife and I.
