The hotel feels like an afterthought to the “hip” restaurant—you have to walk through it to reach the elevators, which is awkward and uncomfortable, especially after long travel with luggage. Staff offered no help with our bags, and navigating a crowded restaurant with six pieces of luggage was extremely irritating. Staff were also unfriendly and unhelpful when restaurant guests were blocking walkways. We constantly felt like we did not belong there.
Room service and the front desk were very hard to reach in the evening. Turndown service felt sloppy (including a random hair tie and a half-turned bed), towels had holes in them, and the restaurant DJs were loud—you could hear them even from the top floor. The sauna requires walking through the restaurant again, so we didn’t even bother checking those out as we couldn’t imagine walking through guests eating after a sweat session.
The bed was comfortable, but overall we would not stay here again.
