Listed as a 3 star hotel but seemed quite nice to us ($375 a night April 2025) Great wi-fi, fully controllable a/c, tea pot, Kleenex, fridge, looks like a 55 inch TV but no English language (BBC and CNN are dubbed in Japanese), no music channels I could find. No bellmen evident, but probably available. Japanese bidet/spray toilet in our room...fun to try. There the ubiquitous portable humidifier in each room...Smallish towels. We had a 30 square meter room which was adequate with a desk, chair and sofa. Our “Premium” tour had us in a 20 square meter room so we had to downsize... quite a difference: No desk, no sofa, only one chair and the “closet” is brackets on the wall. But as the saying goes “In Japan when you want to open your suitcase, someone has to stand in the hall”. Only a five story building but one room had a nice view of a tree lined street and tall buildings. The window opens at the top a few inches which is nice. Steak house BLT restaurant on site and quite good but make a reservation..wine by the glass barely covers the bottom of the glass..the onion rings were excellent..hamburger comes with French Fries.. Room Service comes from the BLT Restaurant or a Domino’s Pizza which must be close by. There is a 7-Eleven within a block which will have a 7-Bank ATM which has good rates.

I did a lot of research on hotels in this area because my friends were staying at the ANA Intercontinental. I wanted to find a hotel that had a decent size room for my luggage and walking distance to my friends hotel. I've traveled quite a bit to different countries, even though this was a 3 star hotel, felt more like a 5 star hotel. The room was spacious enough for me, and I had plenty of room. The room was comfortable, and the housekeeper was very attentive and provided fresh towels and bottled water everyday. In addition, the layout of the room is great especially the shower door. When I open the door when done with the shower, the water doesn't splash onto the floor. My favorite is the bidet, this makes it luxurious. This should be a standard for hotels. The location of the hotel was great, it was about a six minute walk to my friend's hotel and like 10 minutes to the train stations. I had a wonderful stay and highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel room was rather small. Good enough for a business trip since the Roppongi-Itchome station is down below. Not really suitable for working in your room but you can go downstairs and sit on the sofas of the 1st floor. The only thing I have to say is that the breakfast is definitely not worth the 3000 JPY they are charging there. It is basically just a glorified continental breakfast. You might as well skip that and go to any of the cafes in the area around the train station.

A bit lackluster. We were coming towards the end of our trip. Being a family of 3 adults, it was a cramped room, with the addition of our luggages. We did not have this issue with other hotels since they were more spacious compared to HVF even when similarly priced. Besides the cramped room, the washroom was a nice setup. With the addition of a nice panasonic hair dryer which made me want to buy one. Service was okay. A lady assisted us with our luggage transfer to Haneda which was a great help. But I don’t like how most of the stuff in the hotel is self service. As well as the make-up room which was once for every 3 days. Outside the hotel, the breakfast was mid at best. There is a nice herb chicken which I looked forward to, but the rest were not spectacular. Or worth having at all. The lady however who handles the Breakfast at BLT is nice and speaks great english. My main problem with this hotel is the Metro Line. The location is right underneath Izumi Gardens which is a huge office building. So expect a large crowd coming INTO the roppongi itchome station. Its fine if you’re leaving during the morning and coming back during rush hours since its opposite the flow of traffic. But do bare in mind that Roppongi Itchome is not connected to most of the main lines. You’ll have to transfer either at omote sando or somewhere else to reach most of everything, which is a hassle when coming back to the hotel from a long day of traveling. I do give it that you are close to Tokyo Tower, but after a long (hopefully breezy) walk uphill towards it, there’s no metro line near Tokyo Tower that brings you back to Roppongi Itchome. So be prepared for the long walk back through azubudai Hills. (I couldnt take pictures of inside our room due to how messy and crammed it was)

A beautiful hotel! We got the renovated room and it was just beautiful. Love the separate toilet and modern touches. Though the space was small it had everything that we needed, and anything additional that was needed was available in the lobby. Only complaint is the bed is so firm! This may be how beds are in Japan, but it was definitely not something we were used to and we were not very comfortable sleeping.

My boyfriend and I stayed in this hotel for 2 nights from April 8th till April 10th, and they were the last 2 nights of our trip, and it was a perfect end to it! The hotel is perfectly located in a building that has a train station just 1 elevator ride away! The staff is kind and is quick to help with every question we had. The hotel has really beautifully renovated rooms, and everything was to our liking :)|Thank you so much for an unforgettable end to our trip and something to remember our last days in Tokyo this time✨💕

The location of this hotel was very convenient. It is right next to one subway line and a short walk from a few others. The room was comfortable enough and they provide amenities both in the room and extra in the lobby for those who need them.

Don’t expect daily room cleaning like in other 4- or 5-star hotels. There’s also no bellboy or concierge service—you’ll need to use the provided trolley to bring your luggage up yourself. However, the location is excellent, with direct access to the train station.

Yelp
This was our last hotel stay in Tokyo. Located right next to a subway station, so super easy to get to. The building itself is apart of a very large city block building called Izumi Garden Tower. All of the businesses connect inside via escaltors/corridors/hallways etc, and there are several businesses, with lots of entrances, which can be a touch confusing. The area seems like a ritzy side of town, lots of updated office buildings and commercial real-estate. Some restaurants. We were able to walk to Tokyo Tower from the hotel no problem. There's a taxi stand outside. *alot of Ubers have trouble finding the drop off location. While the Google reviews are somewhat mixed. I would say our stay was pretty solid. They let us check in an hour early, which I appreciated. They provided 1 ticket for complimentary coffee in there lobby, which I enjoyed. And they have a self serve bag storage room where you can safely lock up your stuff. This is great for travelers that have checked out and do not want to be bogged down with luggage yet. My friend booked with her AMX and we scored 1 complimentary breakfast buffet as well, which had a wide selection. Which our other friends in a different reservation, did not get, so this may be a credit card perk of some kind?? There hotel restaurant (which services breakfast/lunch/din) is located right outside there door, but is not technically attached to the hotel. It's obvious the hotel is going through a reno. The lobby and first floor areas are updated. One of the complaints on Google was that the first floor has mildew in the rooms. I agree there is an interesting scent going on with the first floor *in some areas* that I couldn't place. Luckily we were on the 3rd. The room was a double bed, and was fine, and updated. The hotel is huge, like a maze of sorts. Overall good experience.

Yelp
Nice business hotel type place in Roppongi. Right above the train station, the location is very convenient. The area is very quiet, safe, and accessible. There are many consulates around so lots of security. Not far from the main roppongi area of shopping and nightlife that is quite loud so it's nice that the hotel gets away from the loud city part. The service was very accommodating and helpful. The hotel was very clean and the room was a really nice size for Japanese standards especially for the price. I booked on Agoda and got a good deal. Overall would highly recommend this hotel.

Yelp
For what this hotel is its very good. The lobby is beautiful. I didn't take a pic cause I just drove 11 hrs to land. Staff speak excellent English and are super helpful. I didn't even have to go to lobby for my Uber eats. Rooms are small but clean. Bathroom is nice. Plenty of soap towels shave kits extra towels. It needs a remodel.

Yelp
I've had some awesome luck choosing some pretty great stays for a reasonable price - and this was no different. I'll save the issues I had for the end - as really the GREAT outweighed the "uncomfortable" (there was really no BAD). I am not taking into consideration the fact they called me at 3am before out stay to confirm one of the details. She didn't understand I was asleep - and it was 3am....I think they should take note of where they are calling - and consider the time difference before placing a call - but that was an honest mistake....so, on to the GREAT: Location - This place is LITERALLY on top of a train station - it was perfect. While there was only one line that stopped at this station, connecting to other stations was super easy - and made our traveling around so much easier - especially when them dogs were barking from walking so much! There are a ton of restaurants and shops in and around the station as well. Various restaurants from steak to burgers - and quick stops like 7-Eleven (our go to spot) and Starbucks. The area is surrounded by embassies - and it's super nice/clean/upscale. A short walk to the main street - there were a TON of great restaurants and I had some pretty incredible sushi, ramen and shaved ice there. Bathroom was small - but with great water pressure (haha the things you appreciate when you travel) - and every day they put out tables that fizzed - filled tub and soaked feet - SO GREAT!!!! Heated toilet seat and a ton of controls I didn't use - it was odd sitting on that warm seat though (sorry for the visual). Mini fridge, desk and TV - the fridge seemed like it didn't cool, but magically the water we put in there always came out super cold. Friendly staff that could communicate in English! Super willing to try and help with anything. Strong free WiFi connection - and computers in the lobby for you to use. The So-So: Free breakfast: When you are counting dollars (or yen) you can really benefit from a comp breakfast at the hotel. Day 1 was chicken meatballs in a sweet sauce, white rice, soups, bread, fish, salad. Plenty of options and the salad, chicken and rice were great! The rest of the stuff was ehh. There was a corn soup that was pretty good to. They rotate the menu every 3 days - and this was by far my favorite one. The other two left us going to 7-Eleven to grab a bite. Tiny room by U.S. Standards but understandable for Japan. With two of us - and 2 carry ons it was PRETTY TIGHT in there....but once again - understandable. The Uncomfortable: Stiff bed and pillows - like, really stiff beds. At first, I was pretty upset. Then Day 1 came to an end - and honestly I could of slept on a pile of bricks and it would of felt like floating on a cloud. The fact is the firmness didn't effect my body at all - and I was so tired each day that I fell asleep like a baby no problem. They had one super firm pillow - and one feather pillow. Take a guess which one I picked to sleep with. Overall we had a fantastic stay. While all of the main sites are a little out of the way this was the perfect area for us. Stacked with some great restaurants, and I can't stress enough how great it was to have that station right below us. Even with the very few complaints - I'd recommend this hotel to anyone.

Yelp
Hotel Villa Fontaine in Roppongi was amazing. I originally was only going to stay for one night but changes my mind at a later date and booked a couple extra days through a third party. When I arrived the hotel staff saw I had multiple reservations are were kind enough to combine them into one so I didn't have to change rooms or go through the hassle of checking out and then in again. Rooms were very spacious, especially by Japanese standards, and clean. I was there by myself in a twin room, but there was also an additional fold out futon couch so the room could easily have accommodated 4 or more people (would have been a bit cramped then). Staff were all well spoken in English if you do not know Japanese. Free wired internet was available and there was also free WiFi available in the hotel lobby. Breakfast was served daily starting at 0630 and was pretty typical Japanese breakfast (rice, variation of eggs, fish, soup, choice of meat, and yoghurt). Unfortunately there were no gym or fitness facility at the hotel but just down the road in the Roppongi Ark Hills was an Anytime Fitness which charged ¥1000 for a day trial or you could pay ¥2000 for a 7 day pass. Pretty good deal in my book. Right above Roppongi Itchome station and a 5-10 minute walk to Roppongi Station and everything around it. I definitely recommend this to anyone looking for an affordable and nice place to stay in Roppongi.

Yelp
Great customer services. Room is clean. Staffs are very nice and above beyond! Visitors like their complimentary breakfast as well. Izumi Garden is right next door, make it more convenient, where you can have choices of many restaurants and shops.
