This was our last hotel stay in Tokyo.
Located right next to a subway station, so super easy to get to.
The building itself is apart of a very large city block building called Izumi Garden Tower. All of the businesses connect inside via escaltors/corridors/hallways etc, and there are several businesses, with lots of entrances, which can be a touch confusing.
The area seems like a ritzy side of town, lots of updated office buildings and commercial real-estate. Some restaurants. We were able to walk to Tokyo Tower from the hotel no problem. There's a taxi stand outside. *alot of Ubers have trouble finding the drop off location.
While the Google reviews are somewhat mixed. I would say our stay was pretty solid. They let us check in an hour early, which I appreciated. They provided 1 ticket for complimentary coffee in there lobby, which I enjoyed. And they have a self serve bag storage room where you can safely lock up your stuff. This is great for travelers that have checked out and do not want to be bogged down with luggage yet.
My friend booked with her AMX and we scored 1 complimentary breakfast buffet as well, which had a wide selection. Which our other friends in a different reservation, did not get, so this may be a credit card perk of some kind?? There hotel restaurant (which services breakfast/lunch/din) is located right outside there door, but is not technically attached to the hotel.
It's obvious the hotel is going through a reno. The lobby and first floor areas are updated. One of the complaints on Google was that the first floor has mildew in the rooms. I agree there is an interesting scent going on with the first floor *in some areas* that I couldn't place. Luckily we were on the 3rd. The room was a double bed, and was fine, and updated. The hotel is huge, like a maze of sorts.
Overall good experience.
