Hotel Villa Hügel Trier

Superb hotel in a great location with an outdoor infinity pool, an indoor one, steam room and sauna’s. Beautiful rooms and well appointed bath rooms with great showers. Breakfasts are the best I have ever had anywhere in the world and dinner is excellent as well. Staff are great and it must be one of the top hotels in Germany. We have stayed there three times over about 15 years and it has been consistently a fantastic hotel. Trier a great place to stay, see the city and travel up and down the Moselle and Saar rivers.

This hotel far exceeded our expectations and we would absolutely recommend that anyone stay here. The view is beautiful and location is very convenient,with underground, secure parking. Our room was attractive and peaceful,with extremely tasteful decor and very EXTREMELY comfortable bedding. The staff was accommodating and helpful and room service was prompt!! The hotel restaurant is superb! Wonderful breakfasts and amazing dinners 👌🏻

Probably the best hotel in Trier. Room was great. Air conditioning worked good. Bed and pillows were great. The spa was super clean with a 60, 90, and steam sauna. Indoor and outdoor pool. Breakfast was one of the best we have had in Germany. Huge selection. The staff were all amazing. I suspect this place mainly caters to Germans based on who we saw here but as Americans we felt right at home. Highly recommend.

Very friendly staff and beautiful view. Great breakfast. Good wellness. The room was clean but the furniture is a bit old school. There is no elevator to the rooms on 1st and 2nd floors. The wireless Internet connection was not stable enough for working.

Stayed one night in this beautiful, clean, great hotel. Very warm welcoming, showed us to the room which was very nice, clean and comfortable bed. We have used the spa, and the sky top swimming pool. Amazing experience overlooking the city. Dinner was excellent. Good size portions, very tasty and great service. Breakfast was amazing variety of things to choose from . All in all, amazing place . Will warmly recommend and be happy to come again.

This is a review only for restaurant “Gastraum”. 5 stars are not enough to describe an experience beyond the ordinary. Perfect and very romantic location. Stunning views. Very good service. Food was beyond delicious. Portions were generous. It was worth every cent. This was one of the best upscale dining experiences we have ever had. Six stars for the chef cook and her team!

Perfect relax quality hotel, very personal service, small and cozy boutique hotel in Trier Germany. It is a bit expensive but it is worth every euro! Also the restaurant of the hotel is really very good, food tastes great and prices are fair. Good Sparkling wine on the menu. Every member (guests & personelle) are very polite and friendly, QUALITY is the core off this business! We will revisit this place for sure because it’s the best possible hotel if you want to go and buy Sekte (sparkling wine) of the Riesling grape. Wines are good and very cheap compared to the region in France that called Champagne, while the production process is exactly the same of both so it really taste similar the one from this region of Riesling compared to the toerist traps in the Champagne area, there is it clear that everything is really overpriced just because they may use the brand Champagne.
