Excellent attention to detail. Villa hotel focused around the wellness spa and a first class restaurant. An oasis of quiet and a cocooned experience. The restaurant has perfect cuisine and service. The menu is well thought out with themes running through the courses. Staff are exceptionally friendly and make the experience very special. The spa area is spacious with a spectacular warm infinity pool overlooking the city. A perfect choice for a weekends decompression.

Great little hotel in a beautiful city.|Rooms were immaculately clean and very comfortable, with every amenity. The staff were kind and eager to help. The food in the restaurant was delicious. The little pool/roof terrace is a delight. A superb place to stay when visiting the marvellous Trier!

Surprisingly, the best hotel on my list. Beautiful and well equipped rooms, great views, excellent cuisine and wine, good variety and high quality of products in breakfast and most of all a relaxing atmosphere in all common areas that makes you feel at home.

What a fabulous surprise. I chose this hotel based on the reviews. When i found it was a little outside the old town centre and a bit of a walk into town, I was a bit disappointed/sceptical, but that went away the minute we checked in and walked into our room. The views from our room were lovely. The room was large, with separate seating area. The bed, while firm, was very comfortable and the water pressure in the bathrooms - OH the water pressure! It was the best! Wow. |The hotel spa area was so lovely. We took advantage of it every single day, included in our room rate. Breakfast was also included, which was beyond expectations and so many options including made to order meals. |There are a couple of nice places to eat dinner within a short walk, and the hotel also has a lovely restaurant. |I am not sure we’ll ever venture back to Trier, but I’d honestly consider going back just to stay in Hotel Villa Huegel again. Sensational.

Superb hotel in a great location with an outdoor infinity pool, an indoor one, steam room and sauna’s. Beautiful rooms and well appointed bath rooms with great showers. Breakfasts are the best I have ever had anywhere in the world and dinner is excellent as well. Staff are great and it must be one of the top hotels in Germany. We have stayed there three times over about 15 years and it has been consistently a fantastic hotel. Trier a great place to stay, see the city and travel up and down the Moselle and Saar rivers.

Probably the best hotel in Trier. Room was great. Air conditioning worked good. Bed and pillows were great. The spa was super clean with a 60, 90, and steam sauna. Indoor and outdoor pool. Breakfast was one of the best we have had in Germany. Huge selection. The staff were all amazing. I suspect this place mainly caters to Germans based on who we saw here but as Americans we felt right at home. Highly recommend.

This hotel far exceeded our expectations and we would absolutely recommend that anyone stay here. The view is beautiful and location is very convenient,with underground, secure parking. Our room was attractive and peaceful,with extremely tasteful decor and very EXTREMELY comfortable bedding. The staff was accommodating and helpful and room service was prompt!! The hotel restaurant is superb! Wonderful breakfasts and amazing dinners 👌🏻
