Hotel Villa Manuelina

Nice stay overall. The staff were very friendly and super responsive. We were traveling with a baby — they quickly provided a baby cot and high chair. The atmosphere is warm and family-friendly. The hotel is old, rooms are basic with outdated furniture — not really 4-star standard. The pool is lovely with nice natural views. Location is a bit far (35 min drive to Portofino), but it’s a good value option for visiting the area. The restaurant was surprisingly good, and they delivered our lunch to the room.

Don’t be put off by the looks from the outside which aren’t the most attractive, inside is old style in many parts but everything was very clean and tidy all the amenities you’d expect and an excellent shower, The restaurant next door does superb food and if staying at the hotel you get a discount, on site parking was a plus as well

We chose Manuelina due to being pet friendly. The hotel was nice, our room very clean and adjacent to their restaurant. Staff were professional and friendly. The grounds are filled with grassy areas, flowers, bushes and trees. We had a matter arise which caused us to depart early and they were kind to not charge us the final night. Also, we forgot our dog's blanket which she has had since she was born. They found it and were so kind to mail it back to us at our house in Italy. All in all, reasonably priced, pet friendly, private hotel parking, beautiful gardens, nice rooms, great service and breakfast buffet included.

Beautiful hotel with great service and an excellent price/quality ratio. We received a friendly welcome, and the hotel offers spacious indoor parking. Our room was clean, with a comfortable bed and a beautiful view from our private balcony. It’s also conveniently close to stunning cities like Portofino. Highly recommended!

We stayed 2 nights at this nice hotel. We enjoyed the breakfast very much with good selection of cold cuts and quality bottled water, coffee, yogurt, fruits, cakes, etc…. The room was comfortable. The internet was good but, it did have connection problem at our room (room 5). There is a nice garden. Also, there is a quality restaurant at the premises which we tried the bistro one night and the main restaurant one night. The speciality is focacio which is thin crust cooked in oven

My stay at Manuelina Taste Hotel was fantastic, the room was spotless, very clean with nice views to a garden. Restaurant serves nice focaccia pizza and the manager went above and beyond to help, gave me a coffee while I was waiting for my taxi to Genoa. Did not have time to use the pool but it was very clean. The only downside is the location 1.5 km from Recco Station and wifi is inconsistent.

We had a fabulous 1 night stay in he Manuelina Taste Hotel. So glad we did, it's a gem. Just a 15 min walk from the sea front and near to motorway access. It's a Ligurian treat.||All the staff were welcoming, friendly and very helpful. The Manager Andrea was very informative and had excellent local knowledge. ||We enjoyed a delicious meal in the excellent Bistro. The food was prepared and presented to perfection, very reasonably priced and so very good. If we lived nearby we would be eating there often. The decor and the atmosphere in the Bistro complemented the wonderful food. ||I'm so pleased that I booked to watch the fantastic Recco Focaccia "IGP" being prepared and cooked. Giancarlo is a master of his trade and the demonstration was informative, fun and VERY DELICIOUS. The Focaccia is SO GOOD. So good that I ate more in the Bistro later !||Our room was spacious and had all the necessary facilities.||We look forward to returning to this gem and eating the Ligurian specialities plus enjoying Giancarlo's Focaccia again.||Compliments to all the staff.

Another great stay at Manuelina on our way back to the UK. Comfortable room, a great staff team, delicious food in the Bistro & at breakfast, a short walk to the sea & quick access to the autostrada. Since discovering the Manuelina we have stayed several times on route to or from Tuscany to get our focaccia fix !!!
