Hotel Villagio at The Estate Yountville

"This Mediterranean-style resort is "a little slice of heaven," with Italian gardens, cobblestone courtyards, fountains, and a faux Roman ruin. Rooms are scattered in two-story Tuscan-esque buildings surrounded by flowers and olive trees, and each has a wood-burning fireplace and an oversize sunken bathtub. "Maximize the enjoyment by visiting the wonderful shops next door as well as eating at the many world-class restaurants within walking distance," such as Thomas Keller’s French Laundry and Bouchon. The 13,000-square-foot Spa Villagio offers a Monticelli Mud treatment, with mud from Parma that’s combined with cypress, lemon, and fennel essential oils."

Spent the Fourth of July at The Estate in Yountville and it was absolutely amazing! The property is stunning, and the location couldn’t be better — right in the heart of the charming town of Yountville. We were even able to walk to several great restaurants nearby. The service was top-notch, everyone was so welcoming and kind. They have live music on the weekends, which added such a nice touch to the atmosphere. Room service was super prompt, and the bar was excellent and a great spot to unwind. Definitely planning to come back!

Every little detail about this place is amazing! The staff is very friendly and helpful , the breakfast spread is delicious and they will drive you anywhere in town! The cleaning service for the room is above and beyond folding laundry and organizing our items it made our stay feel peaceful and at home. 10/10 recommend and we will be back!

I'm honestly surprised this hotel isn't rated 5/5. My family and I have been staying here annually for over 10 years, and we've consistently received exceptional service. This time, we were fortunate enough to receive a free upgrade to our room. We were originally booked at their sister hotel, but due to construction, we were moved here. Upon arrival, we were welcomed with a complimentary bottle of wine, bubbly, and a cheese plate. In addition, we were given a spa & dinner credit to spend at the estate. The hotel is impeccably clean, and every single staff member is friendly and accommodating! Wanted to give a special shout out to Alicia Avila for their help.

Where Hotel Villagio, part of The Estate Yountville, could not be in a better and more convenient location and walking distance to great restaurants such as Bouchon, RH Yountville and Ad Hoc. We stayed in a junior suite which was spacious and comfortable with our own private balcony. The bathroom had an oversized soaking tubs and separate walk-in rainfall showers, dual sink vanities, and toiletries. The overall ambiance has a warm and inviting feel. The property is beautifully manicured with cozy fire pits. The breakfast spread each morning was perfect. But what really stood out was the daily live music beginning at breakfast through the evening until midnight / 1 am at the bar. The staff is professional, attentive, and friendly! We will definitely be back!

Not sure if I should leave my review here or over at the Estate Yountville page, either way, this was the BEST hotel I’ve ever stayed at. I think I was most blown away by the housekeeping service. Whoever is doing that work needs a raise! They are incredible and literally sealed the deal on this being a top tier property. I cannot WAIT to come back to this location.

The reception area and bar area very neat and clean. "LIVE" music by bay area musician "LOLAH" great music, both her original songs and covers, patrons tipped her well.

Yelp
HOTEL VILLAGIO @ YOUNTVILLE Went on a work trip and my boss booked this incredible hotel. Doorman immediately grabbed our things to bring to our rooms, there was complimentary champagne, cookies, and lots of snacks. This town is heavily known for their wine as well, so I noticed the wine "wall" as well as tasting is every day at 5pm. We decided to eat there right out the patio, I wasn't the biggest fan of the chicken sandwich, it was more on the drier side but the fries came out hot with it, and the chips and veggies were good. The room itself was beautiful, it was so spacious, lots of extra goodies that you never knew you needed (sewing kit, hair ties, shaving, etc), and even a whole snack section that was complimentary. Spa is also available, I did the 50 min massage for $300, it was not worth it in my opinion, definitely had better. The place itself was just overall incredible, the breakfast is hard to miss, and I really love how it closed at 10am, pretty late allowing you to sleep in for a little. It has a variety of juices, fresh bakery items, fruit, and even someone to make omelette. This was an incredible hotel, and I would highly recommend staying the night here!

Yelp
We had a great weekend here with my wife and our friends. The property was warm and inviting, and the room we stayed in on the newer side of the hotel was clean, spacious, and super comfortable. The staff was friendly and welcoming from the moment we arrived, and the location couldn't be more convenient. Yountville is already easy to walk, but this spot is right in the center of everything, which made getting around effortless. We've stayed at a few different places in the area and so far, this has been our favorite. A small but cool touch, the in-room snacks are complimentary. So if you're craving popcorn or a Twix at midnight, it's there. Also, the amenities are thoughtful and well-stocked. The Diptyque soaps smell amazing, and the bathroom boxes included everything you might have forgotten, toothbrush, shaving kit, sewing kit, and something I haven't seen before: an intimacy kit. Smart move on their part. Overall, my wife and I had an amazing time and we'll definitely be coming back to stay on the Villagio Estate side again. I'm honestly surprised by the 3.7-star rating. I lean boujee when I travel and this place checked all the boxes for me -- not sure what people are complaining about.

Yelp
Anywhere you go in Yountville is beautiful, especially here!! It's the most beautiful place in northern California. Come for happy hour and don't leave because you can get a room that's not as expensive like $1000.

Yelp
THIS IS A REVIEW FOR THE BAR ONLY. We have not stayed at the hotel but through the years, have popped in from time to time for a cocktail. We'd not been in a while and decided to have a drink or two. We are Napa locals (natives actually) and have always supported the establishments in our community - long before tourism - and in addition now, all through the slower seasons. So I said to the bartender: Could I have a citron drink? No, we don't have that. Well, then can we order a Cadillac Margarita? No. We don't have Grand Marnier. Ok, no big deal. Two regular margaritas please. We were handed two smallish, ice-filled drinks that were to be finished in about 4 sips. What were we charged? $26 per drink! $52 (without tip) for a few sips of very basic margaritas. Had I not been waiting outside for my husband, I would have flat-out refused the drinks. This is just pure theft. And greed. We are friends with the general manager at a Napa restaurant and we relayed the story. His jaw literally dropped and he just shook his head. Well, he says, here you can get two drinks for pretty close to that price of one. (And they are so much better.) Anyone else we have told about this, both in the restaurant business and otherwise, are truly shocked. Never again will we go there, nor will any of our many friends and family members. If you're ever in Yountville and just want a nice cocktail, go elsewhere. Check out R&D Kitchen and kick back in their beautiful outdoor space. No one will take advantage of you at that wonderful place. We go there quite often and love it.

Yelp
My husband booked a room here for a trip to celebrate a milestone birthday. Upon check-in, we were offered a bottle of bubbles for the occasion. This arrived shortly after we made it into our room, which overlooked the grape vines and, as we discovered in the morning, allowed for a pleasantly surprising view of hot air balloons as they ventured up, up, & away in the early morning hours. The room itself was a great size, though did not include an actual closet or armoire - only a space attached to the coffee station with a couple drawers and hangers. The tub was large (and took a long while to fill!) and lovely, especially with the sample of bath salts from the spa. Breakfast was an upper-scale version of a continental breakfast, which served us well. Hard boiled eggs, smoked salmon, picked onions, capers, various pastries (small pain au chocolate, mini croissants, blueberry muffins, regular size bagels), cream cheese, butter, yogurt, coffee, fruit were all available. If you want other offerings, such as a latte or eggs Benedict, those are available to order for an additional charge. There are also options within walking distance if you prefer to venture off-site. Service was lovely at the front desk and at the spa (we didn't have time for a treatment but were able to use our credit on some of those lovely bath salts to take home). Water was readily available and much welcomed. Our only real "gripe" was the music on Friday night - it was a bit loud and could be heard clearly in our room, though it did end promptly at 10p. Also, there is a bit of an ant issue in the bathroom, so that's something they should look into addressing. Overall though, it was an absolutely lovely stay and we would certainly return!

Yelp
This was our 2nd stay here. We loved it the first time around, room, service, location, and all the amenities. My friend and I arrived on a Tuesday for a 4 night, 5 day stay. I had our days pretty filled up with activities, ballooning, zip lining, hiking and of course wine tasting. Check-in was a breeze. This year we also indulged at the spa for much needed Therapeutic Couples Massages. Our first room was was very nice, clean and because of a couple of issues on our last stay, a nice bottle of chilled champagne and a charcuterie board awaiting us. We immediately turned down the AC because the sun was beaming into our room. We unpacked and proceeded to enjoy the pool area. We got back to our room a couple hours later to notice our room was not cooling down. We called the front desk to send maintenance which then was established all the rooms in that section had failing AC. We then proceeded to pack up our belongings and were moved to another room. It was just a real inconvenience but at the end of a day it was all worked out. Thank goodness they had a comparable room to move us too. My only question: why in the first place were we put there if that whole section of rooms had failing AC? I assume others had complained and the week we were there was unusually warm for Californian standards at that time of the year. The breakfast buffet was great as usual, all the assortments of fresh fruit, bagels and pastries, along with artisan meats and cheese, smoked salmon, coffee, teas, juices BUT the hotel got rid of the complementary morning Mimosas. I asked the bar tender and YES they did, and now it is an option to purchase at the bar. LOL bring back the Mimosas. To note, this time around we took advantage of Couples Therapeutic Couples Massage, 2 days in a row. Check-in was a breeze. I reserved well in advance. It was a wonderful experience from the moment you walk through the doors. The tour, the glass of Champagne and all the amenities of a luxury Spa. my Technician: Stephanie was wonderful, in fact, she was available the second time I went too. All in all a wonderful stay. I love the month to go before it gets crowded, worked out perfectly.

Yelp
Found this little bar in the lobby of this hotel prior to dinner. It is like a little hidden gem, little on the fancy side. Ambiance It was dark, had a few tabletops for couples. Nice for romantic alone time. Interesting black and white photos on the wall. Service was great. Complimentary charcuterie was very good, must have been Happy Hour. Old Fashion was crafted well and spirit forward.

Yelp
I went to the spa before they changed ownership last year and it was wonderful then, making this place my luxury spa experiences However last Friday, i went back full of excitement from my last experiences at the spa and I got there and was full of disappointment after driving 1.3 hours. Snacks were gone, which were rom a local distributor so I thought that was nice before now they are no longer providing them, the steamroom was boarded up and no longer in use, which was tacky, the hot tubs jets were broken, so you are just sitting in a hot tub of water and the champagne(sparkling water) in the lounge is no longer provided. Everyone was piled up in the sauna. I was extremely dissatisfied at the rate $270+ to have amenities or an environment that doesn't support that rate. Before the change i told friends and co workers about the experiences before and thought it was worth it.. it is no longer that place and I let them know this place has changed for the worst. I won't be back, until they bring back the things that makes the money worth the price or the experiences.

Yelp
I had a great stay at Hotel Villagio, the hotel at Estate Yountville. Upon arrival, a hot toddy was offered at the reception area or alternatively, a bottle of water. The property is expansive and has single villas and suites. The grounds are very well kept and a winery, two restaurants, a gym, a garden, and meeting rooms are situated there. The room I stayed in was very large with a bathroom that was nearly equivalent to the size of the sleeping area. Thankfully, my heat worked well as it was quite chilly in the mornings and evenings and the room doors opened to the outdoors. Unfortunately others that I was traveling with had difficulty with their heat. The conference rooms were nice and the Social Room was absolutely beautiful with the high ceilings and wood beams. The only issue was that the shining sun mid-morning and mid-afternoon was blinding and they didn't have curtains or any window coverings to help with that. A complimentary breakfast is offered in the lobby each morning. We had lunches near the conference rooms and we had dinner in the barrel room one night. It was a gorgeous space for dining. The catering at Hotel Villagio was just ok though. The quality wasn't quite up to par with other hotels of this caliber. But, the good thing is that the town has excellent dining options, including two of Chef Michael Chiarello's restaurants on the Estate Yountville grounds, one of which we ate at. Service was excellent, from the front desk to the turn down service. My room was kept very clean and towels were replaced daily. The gym was small but functional. They have Peleton bikes but no treadmills. Overall, this was a very nice place to stay. I imagine that when it's warmer, the place is even better.

Yelp
I didn't stay at Villagio, but there isn't a place to review their updated Spa. What a cute, happy, serene update and service was attentive from the front desk, to the lady in the dressing room to my masseuse who listened and corrected the pressure points so I had 55 min of wonderful massage! Oh and the crisp cold orange water in the ladies waiting area was amazing! Pricing was very reasonable. $250 for 50 min and eye mask

Yelp
Updating my review. The suite is very nice, property is beautiful and great location. The first night was great no issues. The second night was absolutely terrible for spending $600+ a night you would expect better response to noise issues past midnight with drunk guests. The resort wasn't fully booked and many rooms empty however we had loud neighbors that decided to stay right outside our room at midnight had be very loud. They then moved into the room and continued the party and being loud. We ended up calling the front desk twice. Lost hours of sleep and awake for hours because of them. Again at early hours someone was screaming help me. Then again around 7am with being extra loud and slamming the sliding doors in the room. Upon check out I had to bring up the situation again because no one resolved with us or called to discuss the situation. The associate apologized and said his manager would reach out. One manager did reach out by phone after we left. They apologized again and let us know it was unacceptable and that the guest should have been escorted off property. To solve the negative experience she offered to refund the resort fees. Refunding the resort fee does not equal to a night of lost sleep and early morning wake up by the same neighbors. Sad that this warrants a 1 star but the night team didn't take action after two calls and others complaining about the same noise. We frequent the Napa Valley multiple times a year and unfortunately this was the worst hotel/resort experience ever for my husbands 50th birthday celebration.

Yelp
Once again douche bag management, who has no clue is ruining one of the best local cocktail programs for locals and their guests. overhearing the owner saying he doesn't give a fuck about other people and he's creating his own thing is a joke. You're literally repainted the property exactly how it looked before not at all original complete regression, locals, and tourists like agree that removing a beautiful pool table that doubled as a space for provision during brunch is a testament to your arrogance and ignorance. Understanding how difficult it is for someone to know the value of quality and function is incapable to those such as yourself who has had everything in your life handed to you. This is clear the case with clown shoes ownership at the Villagio and definitely not sustainable with longevity. The chamber sure that you will reap with you sew as you degrade our community!

Yelp
My wife and I recently stay here for our Napa trip. Everything was great! Staff, service, room, food, beverages and hotel itself were top notch! I will say the hotel was on the expensive side and not sure I can say it justified the high nightly rate! $800 plus nightly requires a lot of pampering, which Hotel Villagio does not give.

Yelp
A gem of a property in Yountville. The staff were all supremely adept at making guests feel welcome and important. My wife and I stayed here as part of her birthday weekend celebrations and upon check-in we were provided with what was described as one of the better rooms - #101, a corner unit overlooking the vineyards and told a bottle of champagne would be sent to our room to celebrate the occasion (the bottle and a piece of cake arrived shortly after we got to our room). You will also be treated to a wonderful view of the hot air balloon launch every morning (weather dependent). The room was conveniently located to the club house which made grabbing breakfast in the morning a breeze. The room was quiet overall (weekend music can be loud and goes a little later than during the week, which is expected - just be warned if you'd like absolute quiet on weekends). The breakfast was good - a selection of pastries and cookies, fruit, cereal, yogurt, boiled eggs, coffee, teas, meats & cheeses. If you'd like a boozy drink it is available at the bar which is in the same area as the breakfast spread. Staff were responsive, even providing my wife with some hot water for tea one random night during our stay and the spa seems a little over the top with Veuve Cliquot branding but fun. We did not get to experience any of their services as we simply ran out of time while we were in Yountville but my wife was able to take advantage of our spa credit through purchase of some product. Overall, this was a lovely property and we'd gladly stay again.

Yelp
What a stay and what a resort! All I can say is hands down, one of the best experiences we've had in Yountville. It all starts with me making the mistake of reserving through a 3rd party online booking site. After booking, a week before our flight, my wife went into the hospital and we had to reschedule. All other reservations we had were changed easily. The 3rd party vendor was being more than a pain and saying that it was a non-refundable booking. Regardless, after contacting the hotel directly, they went out of their way to get the 3rd party booking refunded and then got us booked directly, at a better rate and room! Definitely work directly with the hotel and avoid the run around of 3rd party booking sites. The room was amazing. Clean, spacious, comfortable. Everything worked, nothing broken, chipped, scuffed, etc. The room was well kept, bed was comfortable. We stayed at the Villagio which is closer to the highway than Vintage, and we had a suite by the pool, but the rooms are so well insulted you don't really hear any of that noise once in the room. We also had a white noise machine that took care of the rest. We did have a 1st floor room with upstairs neighbors. You can hear footsteps, but not much more than an average apartment. If the white noise is up enough it will even tune that noise out. Overall, extremely satisfied with the room. The service was also exceptional. All of the staff were always friendly, helpful and available. We read some reviews stating that they were extremely understaffed...not true. The only time I had any issue was during breakfast on Fathers Day. They were extremely busy of course, I was hoping to get our usual morning latte's but was unable due to how busy they were (first world problems...). You also have a Nespresso in the room, so we just grabbed some milk and made our own iced latte in the room. Overall, we cannot say enough about the Villagio. After reading some of the recent negative reviews, we were a little concerned. We had none of the negative experiences that others had. It's possible The Estate reads these reviews on a regular and has fixed those issues, or the other reviews may have been isolated incidents. Either way, The Estate and their team far exceeded our expectations and we will be staying again as soon as possible.

Yelp
Yasmine (might not be the correct spelling) at the front desk was extremely kind and hospitable. She made our stay so much more enjoyable! She greeted us with glasses of champagne and a smile. She went above and beyond to let us know where to get the best dining experience. We cannot wait to come back and stay at this great hotel! Highly recommend!

Margie E.

Yelp
Awaken to the fresh cool air with the fragrance of ripe grapes in the air, emanating from the hotels' beautifully tended vineyards. Major changes at Villagio in our experience due to superior staff and customer service, from Tye, front desk manager, to Emiliano in maintenance. Housekeeping was superior. Breakfast was exquisite. Pool glistened. Hundreds of mature olive trees planted in 2020 add a magical beauty to the already exquisitely tended walkways. The hotels' vineyards are luscious and fragrant. We were in heaven.

Yelp
I had another AMAZING stay at Hotel Villagio this past week. They have added 200 olive trees to the property since my last visit and WOW! The staff was extremely welcoming and it made my visit quite memorable. They are doing a rosé-all-day promotion right now and they really meant ALL DAY! You can get bottomless rosé at any bar on property which was so fun! I am already looking forward to my next visit to The Estate Yountville.

Yelp
Wonderful resort in the center of this small wine country town, Yountville. Very pretty and scenic surroundings. Staff is very helpful, especially at the wonderful spa. Don't miss the oversized pool area or the very nice breakfast buffet. Will definitely return.

John S.

Yelp
Villagio used to be the place to stay when visiting wine country. Not any more! From filthy rooms, poor hospitality but worst of all - cowardly management, you'll get a better experience staying at any other place except here. Special mention to Emily ("shadow GM") for literally chastising the Front Desk for giving out her name and refusing to address the issue and Marc (the "real" GM) who promised to reach out and address the issue but never did after 3 weeks. When the rot is from the top, can't expect any better from the rest of the staff. Don't stay here!

Steve S.

Yelp
This hotel was a disappointment, especially for the price. We live in the San Francisco area and we visit Napa and Yountville very frequent. We stay in a lot of hotels in the area and we've stayed here a few times but the last time was the worst. The staff was terrible. Service was terrible. We haven't got overcharged. The pool was the worst. Everyone was just standing around talking hanging out the place needs new management. The management is terrible.

Yelp
Simply put this hotel was incredibly unreasonable with our engagement weekend. My amazing fiancée planned for us to have a picnic in March at a local winery. Due to insane rainstorms that day we were unable to eat outside for the winery. Our proposal coordinator stopped by our hotel (Villagio) and asked if it would be ok to set up a charcuterie tray in our room. She was told no even with our permission, as the room was not ready. She asked if it could be put outside on one of the VERY empty patio tables for us to enjoy there. No. She asked if they could hold onto it and put it in the room when it was ready. No. Keep in mind that NO ONE was in this hotel. Not a soul. At $600+ a night the least this place could do was accommodate a minimal request of this nature. Even when we told them in person... service was completely subpar. Not so much as a congratulations. It's a shame because we come up to wine country at least 3-4 times a season. We have told others about this and will continue doing so. Don't bother giving them your business...especially if you're planning a special event. Literally JCB was nicer to us...and we just went there for a wine tasting.

Yelp
repost from 9/6/2022 I try to ignore the bad reviews for 5 star properties but the one titled "NO Housekeeping" (on Tripadvisors reviews) is definitely accurate. After all, you are paying an average of $700-1000/night; the bad review must have been a one-off, right? I see there are many 5 star reviews that have been posted; but Please read this review and make your own assumptions. We just finished our (very hot) Labor day weekend getaway at "Hotel Villagio". Starting poolside - No clean towels to use for sitting or drying off. Not enough workers, actually almost no workers or staff. No clean towels anywhere (for hours). Pool area looked like there was a frat party from the night before; cups, bottles, food wrappers, dirty plates everywhere.... remained ALL DAY. I can understand if a large party just left the pool area; this mess was left ALL day. You would think there would staff members sweeping through the pool area at least every 20-30 minutes. You know, asking for drinks, clearing recently vacated lounge chairs, etc... but to leave dirty towels, dirty dishes... All day??!! The pile of dirty towels was embarrassing to look at; a literal "mountain" of dirty towels that no one cared to take away. There were many guests at the pool staring at each other, wondering when anyone would show up with clean towels, take a drink order, take a food order. Did I mention no clean towels? Housekeeping was non existent this weekend. Except for a clean room at check in; housekeeping disappeared. And they disappeared at the worst time (Labor Day weekend). Nobody to make the beds. Nobody to give us clean towels (a recurring theme seemingly). Nobody to even replace the near empty toilet paper roll. Nobody to replenish water. Ice Machine near our room was broken (no out of order sign, no apologies, no alternative location to guide us, but someone did leave a pizza box on the Ice Machine as a place for trash... appropriately so.). They also ran OUT of ice in that late afternoon (it was 100+ degrees in Napa this weekend). Did I mention no clean towels? We called the front desk to ask when housekeeping could restock our room, they said unfortunately not until "turn down", which is 5:00pm-8:30pm. Front desk told us they did not have enough staff; housekeeping was being prioritized for check-in guests ONLY at that time (this is not a great way to tell a guest (us) that they are low-priority, and to think we paid only $1100 that night for this treatment). We thought fair enough, we will go to dinner and then come back to a cleaned room. We returned at 10:30pm. We checked with the front desk evening manager upon returning and she assured us housekeeping DID confirm they turned down our room. Relieved (and happy) that we were going to shower and have a clean room for the night...... Guess what? No one from housekeeping went to our room. The evening manager was dismayed, embarrassed and shocked that a housekeeping manager promised our room was tended to. What a cluster F....... Did I mention no clean towels? I don't blame the staff who were working these past two days; you can see they were being run ragged. I blame higher management; no high level managers to even be present during this very busy weekend to help out. We asked, we inquired, we BEGGED to speak to someone in higher management to explain what was happening to us at this resort. Should YOU pay $700-$1000/night and have the same treatment as a Motel 6? Of course not, I would be insulting Motel 6 in this case. Did I mention no clean towels?

Yelp
Trying to be five star and not was the feedback from colleague. Rooms freezing in January despite cranking up heat. Fireplaces were wood and couldn't be used. Rooms odd configurations and no desks. No room service available. Convenient to walk around Yountville. Also put 4-5k hold on credit cards that weren't reversed til after trip.

Yelp
The hotel, from what you'll see on the surface, is nice - it's like a low budget Solage or Carneros property with most units facing the back parking lot. It's in the heart of Yountville if you're into a manufactured experience. I'm giving emphasis to "manufactured." The folks behind creating and delivering the experience are merely going through the motions of what they think a great hotel experience in wine country is. If the place has any soul at all, it would be a very dark and hollow one. They lured us with a promotion that they did not deliver on. When we called them on it, they gaslit us. The bar cocktails were decent but food was subpar - I remember being peckish and ordering fries at the bar. I was served bits and pieces that seemed like they were scraping the bottom of the fryer. The tub in our room was dirty -- we're talking grime and grease that had a lingering smell. We were there for a long weekend and housekeeping did not show up until our last evening. To make up for this, management offered us a free night which they did not honor when we tried to redeem. Sketchy. This would have been 1 star if not for the friendly bar staff and the other places near it that we actually enjoyed.

Yelp
We have been staying here for 25 years now. We were excited to experience the remodel. However, we got a downstairs room and the "tromping" of the people upstairs was horrible. I forgot we always would make sure to be upstairs, although some spots downstairs are not bad. I did ask at check in but they were OUT and she could care less about my request. This being an anniversary, was not great. We were also given the ADA room so maybe it was different? My husband wanted to relax in the bath and hadn't experienced not being able to stretch his legs out since long ago in the UK so, I called the front desk if this tub size was the same for all the units, since we have another day to get it right. Unfortunately, "Yes", she replied. So if you like a tub where your legs stretch out sitting totally upright, this might be weird, very small tubs. I miss the regular clothing drawers and the closed closet, now it's exposed and near your front door. We did have a nice sitting room between the bath and the bedroom and free snacks which was nice. but that is where i found some drawers so it was a back and forth between the front door and this little couch space hang out. The real test was breakfast~I heard there was no more omelette bar. I still think that was a great detail. Instead they have a small table with breakfast burritos, green salsa and a breakfast protein~which was all good. Best thing was having Model Bakery English Muffins. The food included a bagel bar and fruit, yogurt, cheeses. Wish I could just have eggs though. The layout of seating was much more comfortable than before. Outside, cushioned outdoor seating facing toward the grapevines, (well only one table faces the vines) but much better than the tall metal tables and high stool/chairs. The flow of Beverages as you pass the bar {where you once ate}...was great! Coffees, Milks, Champagne, Mimosas, Even self serve Bloody Mary! Water etc. Still great! At the bar there were certain people right there trying to help you and even I think concierge walking by asking how we were doing. The concierge no longer has any pull for FL. Those were the days. Having stayed elsewhere during their remodel~we now prefer the sister spot of Vintage House. But really, anywhere in Yountville is a plus, just what kind of amenities do you require or expect. Overall a CHILL stay nonetheless as the temperatures were soaring!! Too hot to even go out to the pool. So, staying indoors and having smart TV access was appreciated. *Mattress in our room prob needs to be replaced already, we both commented on sleeping in someone's hole in the mattress. Couldn't stop sliding my foot into the second hole in the mattress at the bottom of my bed, trying to imagine how there is a sunken hole I am sleeping in and the one my foot slides into. It's not great when you miss your bed and you are at a getaway. LOL So, yeah, sleep was not great. The old pillows were better than the ones now, these I kept trying to fold it to the perfect height. Maybe we waited too long after the remodel to go back? A bit pricey for our experiences in that town, but so close to all the Best food & only 6 minute drive to Mustard's! It's not the same Villagio, but some things are better. It felt like a second home before and now it's more a fend for yourself situation. I keep it at 3 stars, I guess for the nostalgia of this place and all my family memories here. Maybe some will read this and think they can't tolerate any of this and I'm too generous, I hope it's better if we give it another go.

Yelp
Worst upscale hotel experience in years and refusal to communicate re overcharges. Very difficult to even reach someone that might be in a position to correct their mistakes. The confusion between their various properties is unbelievable, obviously a sinking operation. Bordering on intentional ignoring of their overcharges.

Yelp
Prime Yountville location. An easy walk to the area's prime restaurants, quaint shopping area and a short drive to most of the wineries. I enjoyed my recent stay at Hotel Villagio. Our newly remodeled room and bathroom were gorgeous and spacious. I thought I would miss the comfort of a closet, but as it turns out the provided open and modern valet stand worked even better. I rarely ever consume any of the mini bar offerings from any hotel, but if I ever did, it would be here. They also offered a rare half bottle of Del Dotto at a (wait for it) reasonable price. It was nice to have a fireplace in the room, and I used it every night. The only thing is housekeeping failed to replace the matches and wood chips for it, and I had to call for replacements daily. Arriving late the first day, I was caught off guard by the vibrant lobby bar atmosphere. Rowdy guests gathered around a pool table and bar, a late-night scene not very common in Yountville. I wondered if I was in the right place. The next morning, the room converted into the breakfast area. The pool table covered to hold the offerings. For a complimentary breakfast, I thought the variety was great. No eggs nor waffles, but there was plenty of quality eats to be had: muffins, fruits, yogurt, granola, hot oatmeal, various breads, jams, hard-boiled eggs, juice, and coffee. If you prefer something heartier, just cross the street to PROTEA. Highly recommended! You can also walk to nearby Bouchon Bakery. I look forward to a future stay and perhaps try the spa next time.

Yelp
If I could, I would give Hotel Villagio more than 5 stars! Their customer service is elite! Upon arrival, we were pleasantly greeted by Cole and Sebastian...they valeted our cars, took our luggage while the front desk made our check-in seamless. For the duration of our stay, Cole exceeded our expectations with his attentive service...we ordered food from a nearby restaurant, the front desk picked up our order...we had dietary restrictions, management made sure our food was properly prepared... We were also catered by the director and hotel manager, both saw that our surprise celebration was memorable! Even when things were not perfect (we had a noisy toilet in our room...and I took a slip & fall into the pool) management made sure any issues were handled promptly! Thank you for make our stay special, I'll stay at Villagio again soon!

Yelp
Staying at Hotel Villagio was the perfect place for our first napa valley trip! The grounds + rooms are gorgeous, HAVE the most comfortable bed, friendly staff, and ideal location in Yountville! We were luckily able to check-in very early (10 AM)! The staff drove us in the little car on property to dinner in town so I didn't have to walk in heels. Very happy we chose Hotel Villagio, we can't wait to come back!

Yelp
Big fan of our stay at Villagio. If you want a modern feel without the Calistoga ranch prices, this is your spot. Pool is open 24-7 and the hotel is located walking distance for all of the Yountville hotspots. We really can't wait to come back. Note: Hotel Villagio also owns Perry Lang, a restaurant down the street. I do NOT recommend Perry Lang. They lost our reservation and were unapologetic even turning us away for dinner. Hotel villagio deserves 5 stars. Perry Lang deserves 1.

Yelp
Hotel Villagio is absolutely stunning and offers the most thoughtful guest experience of any luxury hotel in the market. My room was impeccable, and the extra flourishes that the staff curates truly sets them apart from the competition. From the handwritten note and bottle of wine that waited for us upon arrival to the gourmet chocolates from Chris Kollar at turn down service, the staff at Hotel Villagio understands the impact of doing all the little things superbly well. Hands down the best hotel experience I've had in the valley; I couldn't recommend Hotel Villagio more.

Yelp
This hotel has many pros: 1) Walking distance to all the amazing restaurants in Yountville: Ad Hoc, Bouchon, Bouchon Bakery, Bottega, Coqueta, Redd Wood, French Laundry, Ciccio, RH Yountville etc. 2) Free breakfast which includes scrambled eggs, smoked salmon, yogurt, pastries. 3) On site spa 4) Newly remodeled and beautiful bath room. Each room has an outdoor patio or balcony. 5) Service is great 6) Nice pool and jacuzzi BUT, my heater/fan kept going off/on all night and I couldn't sleep. It was loud and I was sleeping in the bed closest to it. PLUS, the blinds didn't make the room fully dark which bugged me. Everything else was great but when I can't get a good nights sleep, it's a definite downer.

Yelp
Hotel Villagio is situated at the center of Yountville so getting around is super convenient. There are several restaurants in the area and all are within walking distance from the hotel. The room is modernly appointed, clean and spacious. We enjoyed the complimentary breakfast with a variety of fresh fruits and the vineyard next to the hotel. The staff was super friendly and overall a great stay for us.

Yelp
We had an AMAZING stay! The rooms were beautiful and the staff were great. Marc went above and beyond and we will be back thanks to him. Marc gave that extra touch to make us feel special. Marc deserves a raise!

Yelp
I try to ignore the bad reviews for 5 star properties but the one titled "NO Housekeeping" (on Tripadvisors reviews) is definitely accurate. Yelp
We had the best stay at Hotel Villagio at The Estate in Yountville. The rooms look like they have recently been remodeled and they did a really nice job. The complimentary breakfast was 5 stars and something that would've easily cost $100 for 2 ppl. They have golf carts and bikes to get you around town, but Yountville is so small that you can walk end to end in 12 mins. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Highly recommend this hotel and we definitely will stay here again!

Yelp
Stayed for the my birthday weekend. On the positive side the decor of the room was modern the bathroom had a nice tub. Location is central and close to restaurants and shops. However........ The room has paper thin walls and you can hear everything. We stayed in a room close ish to the street and right next to where guest parking so not only do you get noise from the street but I can hear every step every toilet flush of our upstairs neighbors. The room was not very clean there were old cobwebs in corners of the room and it was dusty. We found a spider in the tub. No room service. No mini bar. The fridge only had water. Housekeeping if only you ask. Fitness center is closed. However spa is open( doesn't make much sense) this place is pricey and they have a daily resort fee, not at all lowered from original resort fee not sure why bc there's not a lot of amenities other than a breakfast in the morning next door. Which I had to ask about bc upon check in. they didn't mention it or give me any of the vouchers for the breakfast. The continental breakfast was good and at an actual sit down restaurant, plus 1 star just for the breakfast. but the restaurant was noticeably understaffed. Even when I checked out i had to go next door to their sister hotel vintage house to check out bc their front desk was closed. Which no one informed me. Very inconvenient. I was really excited about this hotel, but it was very disappointing. Stay elsewhere.

Yelp
Loved this hotel. The rooms were so spacious. Beds comfortable. And the bathrooms are so large. Standalone tubs and huge shower!! Fireplaces, wow. We came in December and got a good rate so not sure what these wud cost in high season but I'd come back here!! Pool is also open 24 hrs and it's heated. The lobby is very intimate with a pool table and comfy couches. They have tasty cookies and gave us a glass of wine upon arrival. Great job Villagio

Yelp
Beautiful resort. Rooms are spacious and comfy. Walking distance to downtown Yountville. The hotel bar has a delicious Paloma. I did not care for their heirloom tomato salad or charcuterie plate. Underwhelming.

Yelp
Fully enjoyed my stay at hotel villagio! The suite Bathroom was amazing, very spacious! Loved the look and feel of the hotel. Bedding was very comfortable. Had a late night room service which came in 15 mins! Superb service by the hotel team.

Yelp
4/5 stars. Lovely hotel, welcoming staff and ambiance. We had an upper level suite with a sitting room and huge, wonderful bathroom with shower and tub. Everything seemed nicely updated, and the bed was very comfy! The pool area and main lobby were also very inviting. Another plus was breakfast. No hot food, but really excellent selection of house-made and locally sourced baked goods (e.g., English muffins from Model M), smoked salmon, cheese/ meat board, fruits, yogurt, and homemade yogurt. Mimosas, too, if you like that sort of thing. I'm taking a star off for a few issues. The hot tub wasn't hot (more like 80 degrees) on our first night, but after we informed staff, it was hotter the next day so they did fix this. I also didn't have hot water the second day for my bath; it wasn't freezing cold, more like tepid lukewarm. But for a 5-star hotel, I expect hot water not to be an issue. Finally, there was a weird subtle beeping sound that I think may have been related to the heating system. I never did figure out what it was, but it woke me up the first morning of my stay; on the second night, I wore earplugs, so wasn't bothered by it. All in all, I would definitely stay here again. The pretty property, friendly staff, turn-down service, and free snacks and movies made for a relaxing atmosphere. And the location--walking distance to all the wonderful Yountville restaurants--can't be beat.

Yelp
Was treated here for a weekend get-a-way by my girlfriend for my birthday. The rooms were great! Spacious with a nice new big flat screen, fire place and nice bathroom. Very comfortable and romantic. Staff was friendly and helpful. Visited The Spa and it was an amazing experience. 5*

Yelp
Decent hotel, great location and friendly staff. Also: - complimentary glass of sparkling wine on check-in; - located on the main Yountville street, just 10 min walk from all famous restaurants (French Laundry, Bouchon, etc); - we had a fairplace in our room; - comfy white robes, amazing spacious bathroom with shower and bath; - decent cosmetics in the bathroom; - local grocery store located just across the street; - the breakfast was just amazing, like European one with fresh pastries, farmer style natural yogurt, smoked salmon, prosciutto, decent variety of sweet fresh fruits; - room was extremely clean and fresh. Drawing your attention: - there is no free still water in the room, fancy European sparkling water only; - keep in mind that highway located right behind the hotel - ask for quite place if you are noise sensitive. Highly recommended place!

Yelp
I have travelled all over the world and my stay and Hotel Villagio is the best in terms of service and experience I have EVER had. My partner and I hope to make our 24 hour stay with Spa treatment and annual occurrence. I highly recommend starting your day early to take advantage of spa amenities, reserve a body wrap (the most pristine your skin will ever feel) then take an unscheduled walk down the to any winery of your choosing. My number advice it RELAX and enjoy all the peace the Hotel Villagio and Yountville have to offer. Thanks for impeccable service! We can't wait to come back!!

Yelp
They no longer apparently offer any fried chicken , potatoes, any waffles and any omelette station which are obviously very appealing on their outdated videos on YouTube and photos they have online among many other things that they do not offer. Also another thing when you check into your hotel and you check into your room your room screen says that you are upon check-in can dial zero from your phone in your hotel room to book an experience such as winetasting or mozzarella demonstration at one of the nearby restaurants one thing they do not tell you or they do not have on their website to inform you is that you actually cannot book that upon checking in as it is stated on their advertisements the information is incorrect you have to have everything done at least 24 hours prior a few of the experiences that we wanted to try they came back with it's not available answer. The experience at this hotel compared to what they are advertising are definitely not the same though the hotel is very beautiful very clean and friendly service a lot of the amenities are falsified in these advertisements more like bait and switch. I even contacted the hotel property to discuss a lot of the discrepancies and at no time did they offer to make anything better. I am a travel junkie and food junkie. I travel the world and review many locations and I share them on my radio station TV show as well as sharing them with my fans and followers on social media as I am a major promoter and public influencer I definitely cannot say that I would highly recommend this location considering that once I brought many of these concerns up to the location they did not do anything to make our experience there any more enjoyable I will say that the customer service is beyond incredible they are very attentive and nice , But what I paid for but I thought I was going to receive I did not get that for that reason alone I cannot say that I will go back considering that nobody has not contacted me back with the emails of my concerns such as management
