Hotel Villagio at The Estate Yountville

Please look through the reviews before you book.. 20 years ago we stayed here for our honey moon …. it was amazing !!!! We were so excited to get back for our Anniversary. Unfortunately we were so disappointed. Look at your room choices, there are no closets you hang your clothing on an exterior rack that is shared with the coffee and food station. Don’t bring long dresses there is no where to hang them. But no worries the coffee machine never worked and we asked for it to be fixed multiple times. We arrived at 8:30pm no assistance with luggage which was fine because we were on the first floor , but if your on the second good luck you will hike that up the stairs yourself. Enjoy the 6:30am wake up of landscapers with blowers right outside your door. Breakfast ends at 10am but you can order and pay for breakfast till 11 said the manager. Till we sat down at 10:30 and were told breakfast was over. They did eventually accommodate. The front desk staff is beyond so flat and drone like it’s unwelcoming. When I voiced some concerns I was told “ i’m sorry we don’t have a portable closet” Was just wondering if any other rooms had a closet? Online pics indicate nope. Workout rooms have Pelotons which was great .. but you can’t sign in wasn’t connected to Wifi In closing the Hotel has certainly gone down hill since we stayed 20 years ago it’s now represented by the 1 tiny,tiny garbage can that’s been provided in the room. Choose elsewhere it’s not worth the price….

Aaron from the front desk is fantastic. He helped our crew multiple times, took care of us when we went to get massages and checked on us to make sure we got back safely. When you come here ask for Aaron to help get you around town.

The staff is very attentive and friendly. Their valet is exceptional. Food is amazing. The environment is very relaxing.

Aaron gave us top notch service with getting us around town. He dropped us off different places we wanted to go and came back to pick us up when we were ready ! 🤗 It was awesome not having to worry about how we were getting to and from somewhere !

I dont know what happened, but the place has become more and more like a Marriott. Not the Napa Valley experience i have loved and enjoyed here over the years. The last straw was recent removal of the coveted pool table. It was such a great attribute/attraction staying here and having a great social cool area by their bar. Unfortunately they have now lost a good customer. If i want a place that has a boring gathering space like a Marriott ill stay at a Marriott. Good luck with your now boring Hotel. You have successfully removed the charm of what made your gathering area special.

Upon check-in, the property feels more like a Best Western Plus property and not a luxury Napa resort. However, the location in Yountville, the staff and amenities are a big plus in making this a 4* resort. The biggest value add to the property is that almost everything is included. All you can eat snacks, candy, wine, breakfast, courtesy car, pool drinks, e-bikes….just makes you feel like you’re getting more value than the usual expensive add on charges at all of the other resorts. The hotel staff was amazing and every day spent at the property made it feel more like a semi luxury property.

Great location. Good room and amenities. Charming breakfast in the lobby and candy basket in the room. Overall, a good stay but overpriced for what it offers. Two “issues” during our stay 1. Toilet didn’t have water for the last day of our stay. We asked maintenance to fix but they never showed up. We had to use a wine bucket to fill the toilet tank with water so we could use it. Can’t call that a 5-star hotel experience. 2. Seemed too crowded for an intimate/exclusive experience.

Had a great experience at Hotel Villagio. There was live music and the drinks were great. I highly recommend visiting and staying here if you're in Yountville.
