19 Best Hotels in Málaga, Costa del Sol’s Scenic Capital | Condé Nast Traveler

"Located on lively Calle Larios and set behind a 19th-century façade renovated in 2022, this contemporary hotel offers a standout terrace where you can dine and drink all day while admiring cathedral views. I valued its prime position on one of Spain’s most beautiful and eventful streets, which makes it an excellent base for experiencing Málaga’s year-round festivities." - Marta Sader

Malaga: Where to Eat on Holiday

"On the same street as Beluga, in a building dating back to 1821, is the Vincci Larios Diez hotel. With a modern aesthetic, it's one of the best accommodation options if you want to explore Malaga's historic city center. Don't miss its rooftop terrace, El Taller de Larios 10, to enjoy magnificent views of the city." - The MICHELIN Guide

Vincci Larios Diez (Malaga, Costa del Sol) 2 Verified Reviews | Tablet Hotels

"Set in the historic heart of Málaga, on the 19th-century Calle Larios, in the 200-year-old landmark that once housed the Gómez Raggio department store, Vincci Larios Diez is nevertheless a thoroughly modern luxury hotel. Its rooms and suites retain echoes of the building’s history, but the overall atmosphere is contemporary, a sunny mix of uncluttered spaces, judiciously applied accent colors, and stylish modern furniture. Among the hotel’s most impressive spaces is the rooftop restaurant, Gastro Space El Taller de Larios Diez, with its elevated views over the rooftops of the Málaga-Centro district." - Tablet Hotels

The location was perfect, right off the Main Street. You walk outside of the hotel onto a gorgeous street closed off to cars. At check in, the front desk welcomed us with cold juices and a snack. We informed the hotel that it was our 25th anniversary when I made the reservation and a brownie cake and champagne were waiting for us in the room. The room itself was decent size as we got the corner room. I liked the rain shower and dual sinks. The staff were friendly and the breakfast buffet upstairs was very good. We had forgotten our bag one morning and was greatly relieved when we went back and that they had put it away for safe keeping. It had our passports and everything was intact. The waiter even stopped us in the elevator to make sure we got our bag. Great friendly service and fantastic location. We highly recommend this hotel.

We stayed at this hotel in the heart of Málaga and couldn’t have asked for a better location. All the sightseeing, restaurants, & retail stores are within walking distance, making it the perfect base for exploring the city. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay.

This hotel is in a fabulous location within walking distance of a beautiful marina and lots of shops, not to mention all the bistros with outdoor seating. A metro station or two are nearby. The staff is quite friendly and most helpful. The walk from the taxi drop-off is very short and on a pedestrian-only street.||I had asked for a room on the Essence floor not beneath the restaurant with terrace located on the 6th floor after reading other reviews that reported lots of noise from chairs scraping the floors. I also read that Room 501, while a great corner room with a great view, was particularly problematic. So I was surprised when the staff (who admitted they read my specifications) placed me in this very room.||When I questioned this choice, the staff informed me that the other rooms on the 5th floor are worse wrt noise from above. So it turns out, they did honor my request. But this was an admission that they are well aware of the noise level for these rooms. It would be helpful if this was listed on their website.||While the amenities for the Essence floor (5th) were a nice touch, they don't amount to more than what is provided at the included breakfast (which I opted for and was a nice option). The snack stations are located right outside the doors of other rooms and offer donuts, nuts, popcorn, packaged cookies, coffee, yogurt, soft drinks, and a few other items. If noise level is your concern, I'm not sure the snacks are worth it to stay on the Essence floor.

Very central within Malaga, with an entrance reception at the same level as the main street. Rooms are very nice, we purchased the breakfast on arrival and would recommend it highly. Very wide range of food and exceptionally pleasant staff.

An exceptional hotel located in the best location in the city. The rooms are comfortable and spacious, the breakfast is very good, the service is very good and the restaurant on the sixth floor above the roofs of the old city and overlooking the cathedral is simply excellent. Highly recommended.

The absolutely perfect location . I stayed on the (5th) Essence floor, worth the extra money. All day tea, coffee, fruit, yoghurt, cold water/soft drinks/juice, snacks. Beautiful, clean, modern but charming boutique hotel with a very personal touch. This hotel was one of the best parts of my trip.

I’ve just checked in at Vincci Larios Diez, and so far, everything has been amazing. The staff were welcoming and made the check-in process smooth and friendly. The location is unbeatable — right in the heart of Málaga on the beautiful Calle Larios. My room is spotless, stylish, and surprisingly quiet given how central it is. The design and atmosphere feel fresh and modern. Excited to explore more and try the rooftop bar later. Great first impression!

We visited Hotel Vincci because we were looking for a rooftop bar with a view — and it didn’t disappoint. The terrace provides a beautiful panorama of Málaga, especially around sunset. Service was warm, attentive and very efficient, so we never waited long for drinks. The vibe is calm and a little different from the usual tourist spots, making it perfect for a relaxed evening with friends or a quiet date night. Highly recommended.
