Hotel W&P Santo Domingo

Amazing hospitality all around! The only issue was the lounge on the 8th floor—it seemed understaffed and focused mainly on serving large groups. I had to get up and seek out service myself, which wasn’t ideal. That was the only downside to an otherwise excellent experience.

This hotel, apart from being beautiful and having an excellent location, is exceptional. I truly recommend it 100%. The staff's attention is exceptional. Leandro, one of the receptionists, is very kind and very polite. I will definitely return here on my vacation.

The room were ok, the ac wasn't working properly, Breakfast was good just they don't go above and beyond and I went to get Breakfast and for some reason the lady downstairs was really mean and wanted to charge me extra because I wanted to take my Breakfast upstairs assuming that I had already eaten, Even though is a buffet. She was guarding the food like it was hers. People in DR are just not very friendly or approachable in general most of them think that customer service is an inconvenience to them.

Most of their rooms have been updated. The new roo.s are fantastic. The old rooms bathroom did not look clean. Ask if the room has been updated for a great hotel with a fantastic breakfast

The rooms are so old and dirty, the 🛁 are so old, and the smell in the entire hotel is so bad smells humidity, everything in the rooms is so old. The walls aren't insulated you can hear the noise inside the rooms day and night

The W & P is a good option for Santo Domingo travel. Very conveniently located, with a friendly and professional staff. The rooms are clean and moderately comfortable. The pillows are not comfortable at all, which is why I said "moderately." The armchair for reading is a nice touch. ||But THE most fabulous thing about the W & P Hotel is the water pressure in the shower. I have lived in the DR for quite some time, and never, not anywhere else, ever, have I ever rejoiced in the water pressure. Big 5-stars for that! ||The restaurant's food is about average for hotel food. I did order room service my first night and although efficient, the server did not leave a tray so I could put the dishes out into the hall when finished. I felt badly about sitting the plate on the carpet. ||The prices are very reasonable. I will definitely stay here again.
