2 Days in Kraków

"Should you opt to book your accommodation in this area, consider the intimate and fairly priced Warszauer Hotel. Set back from the main streets, it has fewer than a dozen guestrooms, each individually designed and minimalist in style yet warm and comfortable with beautiful wood and stone features. Our favourites are the rooms on the top floor – the terraces giving onto a quiet courtyard are an idyllic spot for the first sip of coffee in the morning." - The MICHELIN Guide

Warszauer Hotel (Krakow, Poland) 6 Verified Reviews | Tablet Hotels

"Kraków is often said to be one of Europe’s most picturesque cities, and Kazimierz, the city’s old Jewish quarter, is both rich with historical interest and bustling with contemporary culture. In that sense it’s a perfect match for the Warszauer, a 10-room boutique hotel that effortlessly spans the centuries. Its exterior is unmistakably modern, though with echoes of its historic neighbors, while its interiors are devoted to the work of the Polish artist Tomasz Opaliński and to a number of highly regarded international designers — unique artworks abound, as do classic modernist design furnishings." - Tablet Hotels

Location, Location Location. Nice, boutique hotel situated centrally in the Jewish Quarter. Our room was comfortable but there was quite a lot dead space. Breakfast was top notch although the coffee was a little basic. Staff were friendly and helpful. At the price point, there are other nice hotels but this is a good option to consider too.

I reserved their penthouse. The hotel knew our arrival time. Yet, upon entering the suite, we found that it was blazing hot. The A/C was grossly insufficient or broken. We hung tissues in front of the a/c vent to confirm that there was nearly no airflow. (I have videos) The "bedroom" (really just an open space) is located on the upper floor of the suite, right under the roof of the building. It was crazy hot up there. On the hotel manager's insistence and to no avail, I waited 2 hours for the room temp to drop. The temp on the thermostat never budged. The hotel wouldn't refund my $1500+ and they had no other available room. After flying in from the US, Ubering to the hotel, and waiting hours for their a/c to cool the suite, I had to scramble to find a room in another hotel. I then had to work with customer service at Chase to get a refund, which was finally provided months after my reservation date. The hotel fought to keep my money, but ultimately, they failed. Also, be aware that the bathroom, also located on the upper floor of the suite, has a massive slightly obscured window that provides an excellent view of anybody sitting on the toilet or standing at the sink. Superb location in the old city’s Jewish Quarter. Best breakfast ever- made to order and both artful and delicious. Staff are friendly and helpful. Rooms are small but comfortable. The bathroom was our only critique- glass wall separating bathroom from bedroom so no real privacy and extremely uncomfortable toilet.

Couldn’t recommend this hotel enough, friendly efficient staff, very nice rooms and perfect location! Breakfast also excellent, cooked to order, the eggs Benedict and Shatshuka were amazing.|The hotel is located just off Plac Nowy, which is full of bars and restaurants in the Jewish quarter.|Compared to other hotels this one is very reasonably priced.|This is our second time in Krakow, first in this hotel but will definitely be back to stay again.

Hotel Warszauer nails every detail: The rooms, decor, and food are A+++. New, modern exceptionally clean rooms, perfect bathrooms with soft towels, large living room area. And, the breakfast — included in the room rate — was next level. Michelin chef quality, so I ordered three dishes. |I am soooo glad I stayed here.
