Hotel Zur Post Meerfeld

My husband and I spent three nights in Meerfeld last weekend just to get away from our home in Wiesbaden. COVID-19 has made staying closer to home more appealing. I decided to book this hotel because of the great reviews, particularly about the restaurant.||||We enjoyed the warm hospitality from the staff, the cleanliness, secure parking, and excellent facilities. We especially liked the spa pool, which was a lot of fun. The food in the restaurant was also remarkably good. Breakfast is generous with a number of items offered.||||I do think the rooms could use an upgrade, but that's a minor point. We had a very small shower that didn't get the best water pressure. However, we liked being on the fourth floor, as it's convenient to the spa and the secure parking lot.||||Meerfeld is a unique place, yet it's also close to other attractions. We probably could have stayed a week and not gotten bored.

Super hotel, clean (renovated) rooms, newly installed swimming pool and saunas, nice breakfast buffet, great cuisine in evening at fair prices. Recommended, also with children. Just a small remark: winelist contains many of out-of-stock wines, so stock needs to be replenished.

A bit in the shadow of the bigger hotels on the lakefront, but a charming place nonetheless. Very friendly staff, good restaurant and very comfortable beds. Rooms decorated with just a little touch of imanigation. Small terrace the only drawback

Chef Sven Molitor trained in very good restaurants and then came back home to Meerfeld - in his restaurant of the hotel he now cooks really amazing food: traditional, but with a modern touch and presented in a spectacular way! Very tasty - you really have to try!!

We liked this hotel for all the infrastructure and for the wellness area as well as to welcome during the ckek in .||Everything was very clean, nice equipped room ||Mrs Molitor is lovely, very helpful and makes the effort to speak French, we enjoyed it ||The food was very good and varied !||We had a good time off and hope to have the opportunity to go back!

We went to eat there with family.. really fantastic food, very good service.

Wir waren mit sechs Herren für ein Wanderwochenende dort. Alle waren begeistert vom Essen, von der Herzlichkeit und Motivation des Teams, vom Hotel (sehr sauber) und vor allem vom Wellnessbereich. Drei Saunen, ein Salzraum, ein großzügiger Ruhebereich inkl. Terrasse und ein tolles Schwimmbad mit tollem Ausblick. Vielen Dank an Familie Molitor und ihrem Team für die schönen Stunden, die sie uns bereitet haben.

Ich finde den Service erstklassig, ein wundervolles familiengeführtes Hotel, das in jeder Hinsicht überzeugt. Wer gutes Essen schätzt, kommt hier mit einem ausgezeichneten Hotelfrühstück und einem köstlichen Drei-Gänge-Menü am Abend voll auf seine Kosten.
