Hotel Zur Post Meerfeld

My husband and I spent three nights in Meerfeld last weekend just to get away from our home in Wiesbaden. COVID-19 has made staying closer to home more appealing. I decided to book this hotel because of the great reviews, particularly about the restaurant.||||We enjoyed the warm hospitality from the staff, the cleanliness, secure parking, and excellent facilities. We especially liked the spa pool, which was a lot of fun. The food in the restaurant was also remarkably good. Breakfast is generous with a number of items offered.||||I do think the rooms could use an upgrade, but that's a minor point. We had a very small shower that didn't get the best water pressure. However, we liked being on the fourth floor, as it's convenient to the spa and the secure parking lot.||||Meerfeld is a unique place, yet it's also close to other attractions. We probably could have stayed a week and not gotten bored.

Super hotel, clean (renovated) rooms, newly installed swimming pool and saunas, nice breakfast buffet, great cuisine in evening at fair prices. Recommended, also with children. Just a small remark: winelist contains many of out-of-stock wines, so stock needs to be replenished.

A bit in the shadow of the bigger hotels on the lakefront, but a charming place nonetheless. Very friendly staff, good restaurant and very comfortable beds. Rooms decorated with just a little touch of imanigation. Small terrace the only drawback

Chef Sven Molitor trained in very good restaurants and then came back home to Meerfeld - in his restaurant of the hotel he now cooks really amazing food: traditional, but with a modern touch and presented in a spectacular way! Very tasty - you really have to try!!

We liked this hotel for all the infrastructure and for the wellness area as well as to welcome during the ckek in .||Everything was very clean, nice equipped room ||Mrs Molitor is lovely, very helpful and makes the effort to speak French, we enjoyed it ||The food was very good and varied !||We had a good time off and hope to have the opportunity to go back!

We went to eat there with family.. really fantastic food, very good service.

Meerfeld, was soll ich sagen, ein idyllisch kleines Örtchen in wunderschöner Lage, wo früh um 7.00 Uhr der Pastor mit der Glocke ruft (wörtlich zu nehmen ). Und mittendrin das Hotel "Die Post" familiengeführt, modern eingerichtet, mit ganz, ganz netten Gastgebern und einer wirklich überdurchschnittlichen Küche, ich habe selten so gute Soßen genießen dürfen, von uns dafür definitiv die ☆☆☆☆. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist ausreichend, auf individuelle Wünsche wird eingegangen und es herrscht eine ruhige, familiäre Atmosphäre im Restaurant. Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist mehr als gerechtfertigt. Hinter dem Hotel gibt es einen sehr großzügigen Parkplatz, mit Tor gesichert und ausgehändigtem Chip jederzeit zu öffnen. Im gesamten Hotel gibt es eine W-Lan Versorgung, das ist auch gut so, die Handy-Ereichbarkeit hier im "Vulkankrater" ist mehr als bescheiden. Der lupenreine Wellnessbereich sticht auch hervor, ein super Pool mit tollem Ausblick, zwei Fusssprudelbecken, Saunalandschaft und Gradierraum laden zum Entspannen ein, von der Panoramaterrasse lässt sich ein super Ausblick genießen. Kurzum, wir hatten eine super Woche, Danke dafür und weiter so.....man sieht sich sicherlich noch einmal......Schöne Grüße aus dem Fläming

Wir waren gemeinsam mit unserer acht Monate alten Tochter für sieben Nächte zu Gast. Im modern eingerichteten und sehr sauberen Zimmer standen bereits ein Babybett und ein Wasserkocher bereit. Wir haben das Zimmer mit Halbpension gebucht und können das sehr empfehlen. Einmal, weil es in dem recht kleinen Ort keine Alternativen gibt, zum anderen, weil das Essen wirklich immer fantastisch war! Auch der Wellnessbereich ist modern ausgestattet und sehr sauber. In und um Meerfeld gibt es viel Natur und tolle Wanderwege. In der Maar kann zudem gebadet werden. Das Personal war immer freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und haben nichts zu bemängeln.
