Hotelito Azul Tulum

Really friendly staff. Alex especially helpful. Was a little slow checking in. Coffee at the shop was really good, but coffee they send to your room is not good. Loved the shower! Bed was comfortable but pillows a bit too stiff personally. AC worked great! We requested no cleaning service but did request water that we did not receive. I just went to lobby to get more water. Food at Olivia was delicious! The hammock outside our room needed repair. The beach area had lots of open very comfortable lounge chairs. Security was good.

We had a wonderful stay at Hotelito Azul. The room was spotless, the bed was incredibly comfortable, and the view was absolutely magnificent. The staff truly made our experience exceptional,everyone was attentive, friendly, and welcoming.|Griselda always made sure our room was perfectly clean and that we had everything we needed. Gregorio was consistently helpful with our luggage and the garage, always greeting us with a smile. The beach and restaurant staff were equally attentive and offered great recommendations. The food was delicious and beautifully prepared. We can’t wait to return next year!

We were here a couple of weeks ago, and our stay here was absolutely amazing! The property is stunning, and we were able to get that jungle treehouse vibe without sacrificing comfort. The view from the rooftop is definitely a highlight of this hotel, and having coffee in a room with a jungle view was awesome. Furthermore, the best part about staying here is the people! All of the staff were so nice and made us feel welcome and comfortable. Special thanks to Griselda and Gerardo for making our stay extra special. Their warmth and hospitality truly stood out! I highly recommend staying here and can’t wait to come again!

The hotel itself is lovely. Its very quaint and feels like being in a treehouse. Most of the staff are lovely, but couple of things that let the hotel down - the front entrance: I understand that a small hotel cannot have on site security but the QR code system and turnstyle do not work, not to mention you cant get suitcases through. Arrival is disappointing. The children's beds did not have pillows. The staff are difficult about extra towels, particularly as I needed extra for our group. Finally on exit, we were chased about where our water bottle had been left - as if we had taken it with us, then I was texted to advise that as we had broken a moisturiser bottle (accident) this would be taken from our deposit. It just came across as petty following a lovely week stay. Some minor tweaks could really lift this place.

Griselda did such a great job cleaning our room and making swans made out of towels to celebrate our recent wedding. Beds were super comfy, location was prime in front of the beach. The parking was not ideal, as there is no where to wait and you had to be let into the parking lot. They definitely needed more staff there were times that I could not find anyone, but they were super nice and did the best they could. The coffee service was excellent. Would book again.

Great location, the rooms are steps away from the ocean. Woke up to the sound of waves every morning, loved it. The staff is amazing, not like typical slow service you get at other locations in Tulum, they go out of the way to please you here.

Where do I even start. Looking at all these comments you should TRULY only consider my comment as this hotel is a scam for any couple or family trying to have a good time in Tulum and enjoy a real vacation. The place is a ghost town and the front desk has one person running the entire hotel. When I checked in there wasn't a single person to help me and nobody even took my luggages. For anyone looking at the amenities the rooftop was dirty and empty and the jacuzzi on it didn't have water and the pool was an ice bath (Definitely why nobody used it). When I entered my room there were cockroaches and huge spiders in the shower and on the walls. The upstairs of my room had a bed which didn't have blinds and forced me to wake up at 5am in the morning. I had issues with getting into the hotel as it is like a New York Subway and had turnstiles (little gates) that you had to get through which didn't open and forced me to be locked out of the hotel at night. There was a QR code you had to scan and if your phone died consider yourself screwed as you have no chance in getting into the hotel. It was the weirdest entrance of a hotel I seen and did not feel like a vacation but rather a prison feel. . And for anyone who wants a late night snack or a water bottle good luck as nobody is at the hotel.

My wife, 8 yr old son and myself had a great and relaxing time at Hotelito Azul. The staff were very accommodating and helpful during our stay. I special shout out to Griselda, who cleaned our room exceptionally and always left some amazing/complex towel animals for our son (who's autistic and loved them). We also can't say enough about Geraldo, the doorman, who always had a big smile and was eager to help out anyway possible. We developed and good relationship with him, he made us feel at home, and we hope to return someday to reconnect and thank him again. We would definitely stay here again.
