We have used this hotel many times over the years and I last wrote a review in 2015. Everything about the hotel remains really good - convenient location for travelling North-South or South-North, welcoming delightful staff, comfortable rooms, great walking around the vineyards for the dog, quiet - but I was very disappointed by the meal this time. I don't know if the staff in the kitchen have changed, but the food was cooked well but the presentation was lacking. The main courses in particular were a piece of meat/fish on a plate with a sauce, no garnish/decoration or accompaniments at all unless you ordered potatoes/vegetables separately. The plate just looked unattractive - a stranded lump of protein. The fish I had was well cooked but I expect the chef to choose suitable accompaniments and put them on the plate. My husband had a duck breast - similar treatment. It was a disappointment for our last meal in France. The wine list of course is wonderful, as you would expect in Burgundy. Breakfast was good with a wide choice of foods.

Staying one night only (sadly), we've eaten here before but never stayed. The room (motel style) is immaculately clean with a modern bathroom overlooking the vineyards. Wonderful! But the highlight is the fantastic restaurant. Great service, food and the best selection of local wines (tip: leave room for cheese). Highly recommended, we will definitely stay again.

The website descibes a charming old hotel with spacious and different rooms and a good restaurant. |However, the reality is a very bad motel with a series of identical small rooms with no windows. The only daylight comes from the entrance door and no daylight enters the room once the door is closed. |At the back of each room is a tiny bathroom also lacking window and ventilation.|The rooms are located along a concrete walkway at the same level as the parking lot |The impression is generally decrepit and the parking lot, which is located through the main entrance along a steep gradient consist of gravel and weeds.|A concrete set of stairs leads from the parking to the “restaurant” with formica tables, plastic chairs and neon light, resembling a very poor cafeteria.||As it was not possible to remain at this decrepit motel we tried to cancel the reservation but the only employee refused to help and we cancelled on the website. Despite this the full amount has been drawn from the credit card.||How Logis de France can accept such a bad place is incomprehensible. They cannot have visited the place but only looked at the false website.||

The restaurant is really nice and the hotel in a convenient stopover spot. However it is a hotel which has a rundown air to it. Off a busy road with no aircon it's too hot for summer nights. Our shower didn't drain away and a couple of light bulbs didn't work in our room. The lady hosting breakfast seemed rushed off her feet with not enough time to properly look after things

On our hike on the Chemin Saint Jacques, we stayed in the hotel for a night! The rooms are spacious and all have a door to the outside! It is a quiet place and we really enjoyed the tranquility. The evening meal was wonderful and the wine great! The breakfast was also nice with tasty savory and sweet dishes, but a little bit on the expensive side.

We have stayed here, on and off for years. We love the convenience of the hotel together with quality of the restaurant. It doesn't have an extensive menu, but what it serves has always been excellent. If you are travelling from the north coast of France or Belgium port it is a relaxed drive of about 5 hours and the same coming back. Hoping to stay again next year DV!

We often travel up to the French ports from the South. This Hotel is in a good position for a stop off. Many vineyards close by so the Wine is excellent. Staff helpful and friendly. Rooms clean, warm and comfortable.|The hotel does not open until 5pm on Sundays. Restaurant open Sunday Evenings. A small but good tasty menu.
