Unfortunately, I had a bad experience at this bar. On November 23 around 9 PM, my husband and his friend went there. My husband unfortunately grabbed his expired passport by mistake, which looks utterly identical to his new one (we are from a foreign country and don't have local IDs yet). He was stopped at the entrance, which is fair because ID is required by law. He didn't argue, didn't try to get inside. He called me, and I brought him his ID. This is his mistake; understandably, he wasn't allowed inside.
The employee at the entrance with long light hair in a black hat (unfortunately, they refused to give me their name) told my husband: "Why do you walk around with expired ID? This is fucking weird," and other not-very-nice things despite his attempts to explain the situation. Then they said they would have to stamp his forehead so he could get in. When my husband refused, they insisted and tried to reach his forehead. My husband got very stressed from this whole situation. Eventually, they stamped his wrist.
Then, the employee addressed me, asking if I knew this guy. I said he was my husband. They replied: "I'm sorry about that," and it didn't sound so nice to me. I told her not to say this thing because he is a great person. They said, "He has no sense of humor. He is fucking weird". Then they said, "Ok, give me your fucking wrist". I think this person insulted my husband and me and addressed us rudely and unacceptably. They had no right to give personal critical remarks about a person they just met and refer to a part of my body as "fucking". Trying to stamp a customer's forehead is also not a funny joke. Maybe it was meant as a joke, but we didn't perceive it as such, and they should have stopped immediately when they saw that the customer didn't like it. I consider this to be insulting. I asked them for their name and if I could talk to someone about this situation. They refused. They seemed pretty drunk.
I approached a different bartender at the bar and asked to speak with the manager. They refused, and the employee from the entrance came to me and started yelling at me, using the word "fucking" way more than needed and accusing me of having no sense of humor and having a problem and advising me to "lighten up because it's holidays". The second employee confirmed they yelled and apologized, admitting they can be rude. (So other staff is aware of the situation). We left immediatedly after that.
I hope the bar can address this situation.
