Such a neat shop with unique gifts and supplies for your pets! We stopped in while visiting Burlington on a road trip and had so much fun looking around. I decided to purchase a hoodie for my dog as a gift from our trip. So grateful for the help offered with choosing size, and I'm happy to say upon arriving back home that it fit perfectly! Thank you! I highly recommend stopping in to spoil your furry family members!

The owners are truly wonderful kind people. We're travelling far from home for the first time with our dog and needed help with fitting a replacement harness and not only was the owner filled with knowledge, he was incredibly helpful and considerate in finding what was best for our girl. It's not often you find places like this, it's refreshing going somewhere that's as passionate about your animal as you are. You were a lifesaver, we can't thank you enough!

Love this store! Debbie puts so much thought and care into the products she carries. I visit every time I am in Burlington. I especially love her selection of dog clothing for lots of different shaped pups! The cat section is great too. I met a bunch of adorable puppies at my last visit! Highly, highly recommend!!

Debbie and Co are true dog lovers (ok, cats too, whatever 😆) and can help you find whatever fun thing you're looking for. My girls love the treats and especially the birthday cookies - locally made! Edited to add: I have a new puppy and Houndstooth has outfitted us with so many things, including a chew toy she's obsessed with. We've gone through five already! And she's kitted out with a great harness I never would have known to look for.

Houndstooth is my (and my dog’s) favorite store! I’m one of those people that doesn’t want to buy the same gear that everyone else has, so most of my dog’s things come from this store. It’s a curated variety of ethically sourced and high quality EVERYTHING. The owner is pretty great too. I’m always wanting to special order things, and she’s always been happy and willing to do so. One of my favorite items in the store is the Haqihana dog harness; hand made in Italy and really high quality! This harness is hard to find, and usually only available online. We have one in Multi, and we just bought a Rocket Dog of VT leash to coordinate with it. I also have coats, boots, snacks, collars…it’s an impressive list! I HIGHLY recommend!

Thank you for helping us find the perfect coat for Perry! The time you took to help figure out the right size since we didn’t have the dog with us is so appreciated, his jacket fits perfectly. The quality is excellent and we love that it’s a US company that helps local shelters. You always have such great products to choose from!

This store has so many great items! The clothes were adorable. I love that they had biodegradable products. My puppy loved the fancy cookies. The woman working was also extremely helpful with finding the right harness and even helped to adjust it to fit him.

What a gift this store is! A great mix of fun & fundamental dog and cat stuff. High-quality toys, treats, the cutest "Gotcha Day" gear, you name it. We'll definitely be back anytime we're in Burlington!
