This is the largest museum in Brussels I've ever visited. I spent over three hours here to immerse myself in everything on display. There are about six floors in total (if I’m not mistaken), with a mix of temporary and permanent displays, both of which were fantastic. The museum blends classic European history with modern elements of European life in a way that’s engaging and easy to enjoy. They also provide tablets with maps, visuals, and audio guides in multiple languages. Best of all, admission is completely free. Definitely must visit if you're in Brussels!

Loved the visit. The entrance is free, the permanent exhibition has 6 floors with information starting from early european historic events all the way to the start of the european union. Including I World War and II World War exhibitions. The audio guide is easy to use and explains pictures and sections in detail. We took 2 hours but could’ve been there for longer!

One of the best museums I have been to. Spread over 5 floors and they provide a tablet which guides you through the museum. The best part... Its free entry. Would highly recommend visit when in Brussels. You need to pass through metal detectors/ security to get in. Interesting little gift shop available as well

Very interesting museum. First floor is the most artistic and it's pleasure to watch historical film records through the glass walls with items from that period. Also the period of the 60's and Zastava 750 "Fićo" produced in Yugoslavia and the wall behind it is pleasure to see. You will need approx. 2 hours to see exhibition. Them you can take a break in the small caffe near the exit. There are several toilets in the building. Souvenirs shop also.

Entrance is free but you have to go through security which takes a bit of time. There are lockers to keep your belongings and then you can visit the museum freely. The temporary exhibition is in 4 languages and you can explore history through pictures. The permanent exhibition is beautiful and a lot of history to go through. The tablet guide is perfect if you want to learn about all the details in European History. It was a great learning experience and I would definitely visit with my children next time.

One of the best museums out there on what makes “Europe” - and best part, it’s free! Every visitor to Brussels should begin their visit here to put the continent in modern context. The museum is large with very excellent digital guides, so plan for several hours to explore. I’ve gone many times and spent 3+ hours upon each visit, and still learned something new!

A great free permanent exhibition. Allow around 4 hours to fully explore all 6 levels. The exhibition is experienced through a tablet with a guided voice tour in many languages. Consider bringing your own corded headphones for increased comfort.
