Google
I stumbled on House of Phin when I was in the area picking up a banh mi sandwich. And I am so glad that I did. The staff was delightful, the space was super cute, and per the barista's suggestion, I ordered the Hanoi Egg Coffee, which was delicious. Strong, creamy, and not too sweet. Can't wait to go back to try more.

Google
Tldr; staff are super friendly, drip coffee is amazing. The vietnamese coffee here is drip-only, so you get that fantastic deep, chocolate-y flavor in every sip. Look how big those phin filters are! I've been here twice and had the house of phin signature, hanoi egg coffee and the pandan everything. The way to go here is definitely the drip drinks - the pandan flavor was good, just a little too sweet for my preference without the coffee to balance it out. Took a star off for the food. The pastries offered all looked delicious and sounded like wonderful flavors (loved that there was mango, ube, and pandan on the menu) but they are not encased and there were flies on the pastries when we looked. We did opt for a pandan waffle which is made fresh, and it was good! Flavor was there and it had a nice chewy texture, but I've had better waffles (hard to beat an egg waffle). Parking is limited and i'm not the best neighborhood, so just plan in advance. If you can swoop a street spot in front that's the way to go. But I will definitely be back! The coffee will be a weekend staple for sure.

Google
First time here and the coffee was absolutely phenomenal. I got the house of phin. Made my day. Barista was the sweetest. Not the best area so maybe just recommend picking up. But so yum!

Viet Le

Google
Their drinks are as bitter and sweet as you'd expect for authentic Viet coffee. The egg coffee is much richer and has a smooth texture. I'd prefer a smaller size as the drinks are strong and bitter. More seating would be nice - this place seems focused on takeout. Drinks do come out quickly

Google
All the drinks and snacks I’ve tried are amazing, but ordering in advance is frustrating and nothing is ever ready when it says it will be. There’s been a couple times when I’ve ordered in advance and am told my order is ready but needs to be iced, and wind up waiting 10-15 minutes longer. Not sure if they’re waiting for water to freeze or if they’re being dishonest, but if you’re unable to fulfill online orders in a timely manner why even have the option?

Google
Literally the best matcha, I love the iced vanilla matcha with salt foam! Great service, parking can be difficult, but it’s quick and super cute!

Google
I’ve had 3 coffees from here already and all of them were amazing! 10/10 Highly recommended

Google
I love this place and this place loves me!!! the service is best in the bay area and the drinks are so so so good. Please do yourself a favor and come support and try the coffee. you will DISAPPOINTED you didn’t come sooner PS: These churro croissants are the best price for bite i’ve ever had. i’m looking at you witchery coffee who sells overpriced croissants!!

Yelp
Tried the 'house of phin'- nice and creamy top. Once you stir it in it takes the edge off the Vietnamese coffee- but it's still very strong! It's located right across from banh mi ba le, so it's easy to stop by when grabbing a sandwich

Yelp
My daughter found this place and wanted to try their drinks. It looked really good online. Have not been to this side of Oakland in a while with all that goes on in this city. My kids were taken back by the scene around the area. Just needed to make sure to be careful when walking around. The gal that helped us was sweet and patient will trying to decide. We end up ordering 4 drinks and 3 pastries. It was a little pricey but I guess that's a given for eating out anywhere. Cute little place, I think they can decorate it a little more.

Yelp
Location is not the best. We parked on the street, which is littered with trash. The shop has bar windows. I most likely wouldn't go out of my way to come here again... Despite that, service was friendly. There was a flower attached to my drink. I think it's due to it being Valentine's weekend. I ordered the Good Morning Em- Phin Dripped Vietnamese Coffee with Ube Cream and Egg Cream. It was an expensive drink- $8.75. It was also a STRONG drink.
google avatar

Yelp
Not in the best of neighborhoods or areas, but good drinks nonetheless! I ordered Pandan drink with crystal boba and it was Delicious! Some of my other friends ordered their house coffee and it is definitely strong and is legit. Service was good, the only down side was there's not a lot of places to sit.
google avatar

Krisstina C.

Yelp
A great place to stop for delicious & strong coffee and pastries! They have a good selection of drinks and pastries for everyone. Staff is so friendly. We automatically were welcomed in. We ordered fast and our drinks came out fast as well. It is only street parking. We got lucky and found a safe spot near. I'm excited to come back and try more pastries!

Yelp
This is conveniently located across from Ba Le, and I've gotten their coconut matcha before and it was yummy. This time I got the coconut icy slush with coffee and loved the contrast of bitter coffee and sweet coconut. It's a good wake up coffee. I got the Pandan waffle, and the flavor was more on the modest one. Very yummy when you eat it hot but not really after re heating (but that's not on them) Ambiance - not much to say since it's a take out spot with limited seating, and it's in an area that isn't super lively. Friendly service! I would come here whenever the next time I visit Ba Le for sandwiches
google avatar

Iris H.

Yelp
I tried the egg coffee and the pandan coffee here for the first time. Loved the egg coffee. Highly recommend! I might skip the pandan coffee since personally, the pandan wasn't as strong as I expected. Maybe I'll try the other pandan drinks next time such as Pandan Promise. Interior is dainty and cute. People are friendly and service is quick.

Yelp
Just finishing up a long week and came here wanting to treat myself. I decided to try the hue style salted cream Vietnamese iced coffee. It really hit the spot and gave me the pick me up I needed to kick start my weekend! Also picked up some padan croissants for my kids. Yum!!!
google avatar

Yelp
Ordered the Saigon by the Night and Hello Pandan. The pandan milk in the Hello Pandan is flavorful and not too sweet, great mixed with the coffee. The coffee in Saigon by the Night was much stronger (probably because it has two shots) which I appreciate because it balances out the creaminess of the black sesame cream. Overall I enjoyed the drinks but prefer the Hello Pandan since it's more liquidy in texture than the Saigon. Service was friendly, they immediately asked if I had a pick up order when I came in and let me know it'll be out shortly. The space is clean and modern, I liked the hanging rattan ceiling lamps. Would come back to try their other drinks!

Yelp
Right on International Blvd, the coffee shop has a nice decor, but I wouldn't say it is decorated to stay and hang out. There are some bar stools by the window, but they are not too big. It is more of a to-go coffee shop! The staff is very welcoming and friendly. They go above and beyond to ensure you are happy with the coffee. Now for the coffee I had the Good Morning Em. The flavor was good but something to point out is that the coffee is STRONG! I asked the person who helped me to add more sugar and she was happy to adjust it. My husband had the Pandan Everything which is a great alternative if you don't want caffeine. It is delicious! We also tried The O.G which is regular Vietnamese coffee. I've had other places with better Vietnamese coffee, but I don't think I would order it here. Overall I would give this place an 7/10. The staff is friendly, and the drinks are good, but they are just a bit too strong for my taste.
google avatar

Jasmine Y.

Yelp
Really nice people working! The neighborhood is a little rough, this place was a little gem. I enjoyed the pandan coffee and the Carmel Mekong by the river, and the sea salt viet coffee! It's a nice sweet treat for the weekend. Small space, maybe not for large group hangouts but definitely somewhere to meet up and start your day!
google avatar

Yelp
Absolutely love coming to this spot as it is right next to my favorite Banh Mi spot. The inside is very nicely decorated and has a very comfortable vibe. They have the big Vietnamese coffee makers as decoration. The workers are always very nice and attentive. They answered a lot of my questions and made me feel very grateful. The drinks are so good- the coffee is super strong but it didn't make me feel jittery
google avatar

Yelp
I've been going here since they opened and always get the Hello Pandan. This time I went and it tasted completely different, once I stirred it up it was still bright green and tasted like really sweet pandan. Told the employee that the drink tasted completely different today and she said she would adjust it for me, then walks me to the register to charge me $1 for an extra shot. Ends up being an $8 drink. Later she says the recipe was recently modified which would suck if this is the case because I loved how the drink was before.

Yelp
I stumbled upon this place after getting banh mi from across the street and I'm happy I did. Very friendly environment, greeted immediately when walking in. The cashier was very nice and helpful when deciding to place my order. I ordered the pandan iced coffee and an almond croissant, both were delicious. The neighborhood may be a bit dodgy but it was worth the trip and I hope they do well.

Yelp
The best Vietnamese cafe out there in Oakland! The pastries are unmatched. My current favorites are the churro, nutella, and pandan croissants! They have the perfect amount of filling and flakiness to them. If you are in need of strong coffee, House of Phin is the place to go. My favorite is the Hue-style salted cream. Their menu is super unique and if you are in need of energy, this is the place to go. The staff is very nice and efficient. Darriven helped me out and was able to get me my croissant and coffee very quickly! There is very little seating in the cafe so this is a grab and go type cafe. If you're in oakland, this is a must try cafe!
google avatar

Deanna Y.

Yelp
House of Phin is my favorite Vietnamese coffee spot! They opened in April 2024 with mostly coffee drinks, but have expanded their menu since then with tea, coconut, and non-caffeinated drink options like dragonfruit lemonade. I've tried their signature Hanoi Egg Coffee, Good Morning Em (ube coffee egg cream), Coconut Coffee, and Caramel by the Mekong and have loved every drink. Their speciality coffee drinks are strong, rich, and such a treat! I haven't tried their food yet, but they have pastries, including black sesame croissants and pandan and ube waffles. If you're looking for more of a meal, highly recommend crossing the street and grabbing a sandwich at Banh Mi Ba Le. The shop is located on International Blvd in a rougher neighborhood, but bring a buddy, because this place is worth the visit!

Yelp
Iced egg coffee - been looking everywhere for this! $7 for a regular size so pretty average cost wise. The girl behind the counter was very friendly and helpful! Not the best I've had but definitely good, especially when you can't find a location that sells a unique item.
google avatar

Alice H.

Yelp
I tried their Hello Pandan drink. It has pandan milk topped with Phin-dripped black Vietnamese coffee. The pandan flavor is great, but I wish the coffee taste was stronger.

Yelp
House of Phin opened recently next to El Porteno (Boccalone), adding another Viet. Coffee shop to choose from on International. Basically to go. Just 4 seats inside. Offerings: Vietnamese coffee variants, iced lattes, coffee, Creations, pastries. Associate patient explaining best sellers. Quick, courteous service. Ready in 5ish minutes Sips: Hue-style salted cream coffee (6.75) -basically sea salt cream, Vietnamese coffee. -needs to be stirred many times, creates a blended smooth drink not too sweet, not too salty. Yummy! *other places never gave instructions. Bites: pandan waffle (5,50) -not a fan of croissants. "Cakes" seem tiny. Purple Ube waffle didn't feel "right". -pandan was just right, nice chewiness, subtle sweetness. No powdered sugar needed. *both coffee & waffle made to order. Best to consume asap. Metered parking in front.

Yelp
House of Phin is located off International Street. Be aware of your surroundings. The Egg Coffee was delicious but more on the bitter side. I loved how strong the coffee is but I would definitely let the ice melt a little before enjoying your drink since it's really concentrated. I think this is definitely one of the better coffee shop in the area but I don't know if I would go back just because of the location.

Yelp
It's been a little over two months since I discovered the place, and I feel the need to update because I've now basically made it through their entire menu and seem to be finding excuses to come to Oakland more often just so I can have their coffee! It helps that Monica and Melina are so sweet and welcoming! I've tried most everything on the menu, and everything is delicious, just depends on my mood. I've definitely walked out of there double fisting several times because it's just so hard to choose. Some of my favorites: *Hanoi Egg coffee - so good and creamy! *Good Morning Em - if you want more creamy and ube, this is amazing! *Saigon by night - I'm a sucker for black sesame so this is great! *Coconut - if I'm in the mood for something sweet, this is great! The sea salt cream is also delicious if you want something creamy but a little different, and the House of Phin is a great simple classic. I can't say enough great things about House of Phin!
google avatar

Yelp
Oh sh*t! Worth every penny. Ordered the pandan crossaint warmed. Flaky, buttery. Good strong pandan coconut flavor. There's even shredded coconut. A little bit sweet, but not overwhelming. Now the egg coffee, just from the look of it, the glutinous person in me was like where's the egg foam? There ain't enough. But it was the perfect amount of creaminess. And the coffee was a good strong tasting Vietnamese coffee & definitely got me caffeinated lol. I am very impressed. Loved it! Super friendly service! Efficient as well

Yelp
Very happy I can get egg coffee without having to travel all the way to San Jose! We came by opening weekend and received a free tote for spending $25+! Super cute! It's a small coffee shop mainly for to-go. No seating since the last time we came by. So far, I've tried the Hanoi egg coffee, house coffee, and Saigon by night. All tasted great! My bf loves their coconut coffee! The Saigon by night has that nutty sesame flavor and the egg coffee is creamy deliciousness! They have so many other aesthetically pleasing looking drinks I'd like to try in the future. They have fresh pastries such as pandan waffles and pandan croissants, both of which are so good!!!Sometimes they are sold out of their pastries, so keep an eye out on their Instagram page! Follow their Instagram page, as they sometimes offer seasonal/new drinks and pastries! The workers here are super friendly as well and can answer any questions you may have! Wishing them luck on their new business!!!
google avatar

Yelp
I recently visited House of Phin and had a fantastic experience! I ordered the Hanoi Egg Coffee, and it was strong with just the right amount of sweetness. The worker mentioned that the Hanoi usually gets sold out every day, so I had to try it, of course! I also had the chance to taste the Coconut Coffee. You can really taste the coconut, and it's sweeter than the Hanoi. Lastly, we got the Matcha Almond Croissant, which was delicious! However, note that you can only taste a hint of the matcha. Overall, it was a delightful visit. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and there's plenty of parking on the street. Definitely worth trying their unique Vietnamese coffee offerings and pastries!
google avatar

Yelp
I have the biggest addiction to Vietnamese coffee and when I found a phin cafe in Oakland I just knew it was gonna hit! Nestled in the not-the-safest area of Oakland is this wonderful gem with such friendly and kind service right as you walk through the door. These kinds of cafes are similar, but the barista was able to tell me what the drinks are like to really help me make a good decision. I got their coconut coffee and it was truly one of my favorites in the bay! I can't wait to go back and try all the other flavors and their pastries!
google avatar

Maritza N.

Yelp
The location is on International, which has paid street parking but it's free on Sundays. They have cute and creative names for the drinks. They all sound good so it's hard to choose which one! Been here a few times and I've tried the House of Phin, coconut coffee, salted cream, Hanoi egg coffee and Saigon by night (sesame). My faves: - salted cream: my fave one so far! A little bit on the sweeter side for those who don't want the coffee to be super strong and has a nice kick of saltiness. - egg coffee: the coffee is strong and the creamy egg is a good balance for a thick and foamy drink. Egg coffee is becoming popular so this is a good place to try it! - (not pictured) pandan waffles: comes out nice and fresh! So chewy with a hint of coconut flavor. I always get it when I order coffee! One of the best viet coffee places around the bay that uses traditional phin filter. Def recommend it if you want strong viet coffee with a variety of unique flavors!

Yelp
This new Vietnamese coffee shop in Oakland is an absolute gem! Their coffee is phenomenal. The rich, bold flavor is exactly what you'd expect from authentic Vietnamese coffee, and it miraculously stays strong even after the ice melts. The menu is a coffee lover's dream with an incredible variety of flavors like egg coffee, pandan, black sesame, coconut, and many more! Each one is a masterpiece! It's a daily struggle deciding which flavor to try next! The shop itself is charming with a vibrant mural that captures the colorful essence of Vietnam. Their pastry selection is equally impressive. The flavors complement the coffee perfectly, making for an unforgettable experience. The staff is friendly, efficient, and the online ordering is a huge plus. The online ordering system is so convenient to place an order in advance and pick it up when I'm on the go. The process is smooth and quick, making it a perfect option for busy mornings or afternoons. I can't recommend this place enough! It's a must-visit for anyone looking for a taste of Vietnam in Oakland.
google avatar

Yelp
Absolutely amazing coffee and pastries. This is my favorite cafe in the Bay Area. The flavors are on point and the coffee gives an instant jolt of energy. The staff are also very friendly and professional. Overall, if you're looking for some life changing coffee, definitely come here!
google avatar

Anita W.

Yelp
Kudos to HoP for opening in this neighborhood during this difficult time for small businesses. I love that there's now a modern Vietnamese coffee shop in Oakland. This is the newest neighborhood gem! Egg coffee has been trending, and you can find that and more creative handcrafted coffee and teas here. In addition to their strong coffees, they have freshly baked pastries like banana bread, croissants, and waffles. I recommend the twice-baked croissants as the other pastries can be dry. The only other thing I wish is that they offered less sweet, sugar-free, or no-sugar options for their coffees and teas. Overall, this is a welcome addition and Monica is the best cashier who has always been warm, friendly, and happy to help answer any questions.
google avatar

Rasheem T.

Yelp
My first few visits were shortly after their grand opening, and I found their coffee a bit too thick and sweet. Today was my 5th visit here, and I can proudly say House of Phin is now my favorite Vietnamese coffee spot in Oakland! The flavor profile has drastically improved, and the caffeine does a great job of keeping me productive. International blvd is notorious for its' prostitution, drugs, and homelessness. Nonetheless, visiting House of Phin is a breath of fresh air as you're met with friendly staff, and a vibrant interior in an otherwise beaten down neighborhood. You can't miss this coffee shop. Pull up to a safe parking spot, and try their unique selection of drinks and pastries. Let's help them expand!

Yelp
We were in the East Bay on a Sunday afternoon and wanted some Vietnamese coffee. Found this spot on Yelp and gave it a try. It's not in the nicest part of Oakland so be aware. Small shop with a few bar seats along the window. The staff was very friendly and attentive (super smiley too). We ordered 3 Hanoi egg coffees and one Coconut Matcha Latte. Nice strong coffee and the egg cream was very tasty. However, I had a sip of the coconut matcha and I would have traded my drink for that in a heartbeat. Subtle notes of matcha and coconut. Yum!
google avatar

Michael L.

Yelp
So I read about this Viet coffee joint in the Chronicle and just so happens that I drove by it while making my way to the freeway after visiting a friend. It was 10 mins to their closing time, but luckily there was parking right out front. I was tempted to get the Egg Coffee, but the barista recommended the Money Tree instead, since I asked for the less sugary option. She said they use real mint and I love anything minty so the obvious choice. Like all the other good Viet coffee I have tried, the Money Tree certainly had a kick while also balanced. I wish we had 1 of these in Sunnyvale
google avatar

Jennifer P.

Yelp
Once you step inside, you immediately become detached from the hustle and bustle of International Blvd. outside. The service is super friendly, and the young lady behind the counter was very patient helping me decide what to order. Apparently the Hanoi egg coffee sells out daily, so I decided to order that. Now I realize why! It was SOOOOO GOOD! Perfectly creamy and sweet, with a nice body...not watery but not viscous. The banana bread was the best I've ever had. I was surprised to find chocolate chips inside! The coarse sugar sprinkled on top added a nice crunch. I wish it was twice the size but I probably shouldn't eat that much of something so decadent anyway. LOVE LOVE LOVE this place and I'm definitely coming back! The best Vietnamese coffee and banana bread I've ever had!!!
google avatar

Yelp
Now I'm not an avid Vietnamese coffee drinker but have always knew that I could turn to it to keep me wired. Today was one of those days. I've been seeing House Of Phin all over my folks Instas so I decided to give it a try. I stopped by at 2P on a Saturday and they were quite empty. The business itself is a decent size with a couple of seating options by the front staring into the street. It's also across from Ba Le! I was immediately greeted by super kind staff upon arrival that also helped me decide ultimately what I wanted to try during my first visit. There were a variety of drink + snack/pastry options available-- which looked super delish. Had I not eaten before, definitely would've grabbed a Pandan waffle. I opted for the Hue-Style Salted Cream coffee and after the first sip, knew that I loved it. You know sometimes you gotta double back and take another sip for assurance but the first was enough to tell. The coffee was super rich and creamy. I'll for sure be back in the future to explore more of the menu.
google avatar

Minh-Uyen N.

Yelp
I love my Vietnamese coffee but can never find many places that meet my standard yet this place makes it very hard to be critical. The options are plentiful and there are very unique flavors that I was surprised to find. We got the ube and pandan coffee. The flavors were strong, as it should be for Vietnamese coffee. You've got to let the flavors marinate, let the ice melt a little bit. The drinks came out quick and the whole ordering area was clean and beautifully decorated. Would definitely come back.
google avatar

Jesica J.

Yelp
I don't know why it took me this long to write a review but I love House of Phin!!! I wish they have a location in Antioch but the trip is worthwhile. I been coming since they opened up and right across you can get the best banh mi. Shoutout to bale. Overall the staffs are always welcoming & friendly. The wall art and Kpop playlist brings lively atmosphere. It's a good vibe. The pandan crossaint is bomb! The pandan mixed w/ coconut is delicious. It's not overwhelming. It has nice balance with the buttery croissant. As for the drinks, I pretty much nearly tried everything. They are all rich, creamy and strong. However, my favorite is the Hanoi Egg Coffee, Saigon by night and Money Tree w/ the house cream on top. I'm a sesame kinda gal; for latte, I would recommend the Black sesame iced latte w/a shot of espresso :) If they ever make "ice cream of the day" they would be unstoppable. Just saying lol.

Yelp
It may not look like much from the outside, but walking in, we were greeted by super friendly staff and found the shop to be 1. Cute and 2. Smelling like waffles. I saw this place on Instagram and absolutely had to try it out. I got the Hue-style salted cream coffee and my boyfriend got the egg cream coffee and both were amazing. The coffee was strong and thick and sweet, everything you can possibly ask for. We also grabbed a twice baked pandan and coconut croissant which was worth the drive in and of itself and a pandan waffle which had the perfect amount of chewy-ness. Once we had finished our waffle, we wanted to turn right back around and order another, but that will have to wait for next time.

Yelp
Had heard about House of Phin opening through Instagram. Always excited to try new places for ca phe su da! Visited on grand opening day! Woo! They serve a variety of tea, viet coffee, pastries and sponge cake. The interior is very clean and the mural on the wall creates a nice ambiance. I ordered the House of Phin Coffee. Really tasty! Just the right sweetness and the coffee is very strong. Parking is hit or miss, but definitely worth trying!
google avatar

Sidney S.

Yelp
Really good Vietnamese coffee! It was on the sweeter side for my liking but strong flavor of coffee and a good selection of different flavors to choose from.
google avatar

Michelle C.

Yelp
What a little gem to find on international. We all liked our drinks! You can get something with lots of caffeine or something really refreshing. I liked them all, I just felt the salted caramel was a little bit too salty for my liking.
google avatar

Cerena N.

Yelp
I'm writing this review as I'm cracked out and gasping for air. I try my best to stay away from Vietnamese coffee since I'm a matcha girly... However, whenever I'm desperate for some energy, I'd come here for something strong. Service is always on point as the staff members are friendly. Although I haven't tried their entire menu, everything that I've had so far did not disappoint. 10/10 would recommend.
google avatar

Maddie X.

Yelp
Very spacious and modern. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful, giving recommendations and explaining their menu items. I tried the egg coffee and pandan coconut croissant. Vietnamese Egg Coffee (4/5) * Well balanced * Strong coffee flavor Pandan Coconut Croissant (3.5/5) * Flaky, fresh croissant * Coconut flakes baked into the croissant * Too much coconut for my liking, I wish the pandan was a bit stronger compared to coconut
google avatar

Nathan C.

Yelp
Everything about this place is top notch!! Had the almond croissant, pandan croissant, and the coconut matcha latte! The croissants are double baked and hit all the spots. Flaky and buttery while also being soft with the perfect amount of sweet. Was told the latte was also amazing! Took a sip and sure enough! Not to mention some of the best customer service you could ask for! Great spot, stopping by is a must!
google avatar

Lynn C.

Yelp
Great service and was very kind to let us know about their drinks. Street parking only. So glad to have egg coffee closer to home. Can't wait tot run their croissants as well. Clean, cafe no seatings available. Grab and go.
google avatar

Kalkidan A.

Yelp
I'm not much of a coffee drinker, but when I drink it, I want it to be fantastic and House of Phin did not disappoint. I got the caramel by the Me-kong and it was amazing. The coffee was so strong, snooze, creamy, and delicious. Every time you take a sip, you get a hint of sweetness, and then you get the strong coffee flavor. My husband who is a coffee connoisseur really regretted not getting one. We will definitely be back to try more things.

Yelp
I found out about House of Phin from a friend on IG and I knew I had to go because I am a huge fan of egg coffee! I had it for the first time years ago during my trip to Vietnam and I've been hooked ever since. We were able to find street parking in front on International Blvd (btw it's across the street from Banh Mi Ba Le). The interior is very clean and I loved the decor and there is nice art / mural - they also sell shirts as well. I ordered the Hanoi egg coffee and Pandan croissant and my husband tried the Hue Style Salted Cream coffee and Black Sesame croissant. We ordered in shop and it took about 5 min and the service was very friendly. We love supporting Viet local businesses. We loved both of our drinks and loved our pastries warmed up. Egg coffee Sweet, strong, custard like taste - make sure to shake it up and it's meant to be sipped (let some of the ice melt). I love this egg coffee because it's rich in flavor. Salted Cream Coffee Not as sweet as the egg coffee but it was so good- salted cream added more depth to otherwise a typical Viet coffee. My husband liked it but wished there was less ice Pandan croissant Must try if you like Pandan and coconut - recommend having it warm. The filling was sweet but not too overpowering. Black sesame croissant This was our favorite pastry. Earthy and not too sweet. Very unique and will definitely want to have this again. I highly recommend trying this spot if you love Vietnamese iced coffee and want to try more flavors! I will definitely be back.

Yelp
Ordered 2 cups of coffee from here (Hello Pandan & Saigon By Night). The Hello Pandan was such a disappointment. The drink was literally watered down so I gave it to my hubby. As for the Saigon By Night, it tasted like coffee with black sesame whip cream. The drink had the perfect sweetness. However, I would not drive all the way here for a drink. There are better places near me.

Yelp
Wow, now THIS is legit coffee. Faced with so many variations of cafe sua da, I decided to go with the O.G. on my first visit. The shop is more of a pick up and go kind of place but I enjoyed the colorful mural that made waiting a bit more pleasant. It's not exactly the kind of street you want to hang outside to wait. One sip before walking out the door and I could feel the caffeine hitting hard - perfect for those sleep deprived nights with your toddler ha. Seriously though, it's been 10+ years since I was in Vietnam and this is probably the closest I'll ever get to the coffee over there. I'll be back to try some of those yummy looking pastries too. Welcome to Oakland. Xin chao!

Yelp
Soooooo good! We got the hue-style salted cream and the hanoi egg coffee and both is def in my top 3 of the best coffee I've had! Can't wait to try everything else! Place is super cute and clean. Park lowkey sucks but it's worth it! They were super nice in there and helpful with suggestions! Highly recommend!
