A gem of a live music venue. First timer and was impressed! Venue/bar/service staff were all SUPER friendly and made the experience 5 star! Be sure to tip generously because they deserve it! The bands sounded great and the pizza was the cherry on top! Excellent! Perfect spot for a night out on the town to see some live music. Here’s to another 20 years of continued success 🍻 Thanks for a wonderful experience.

Was in Corpus for the day and stopped in for lunch. So glad we did! Immediately welcomed with a smile AND EYE CONTACT as soon as we walked in...GREAT start. Food was great, atmosphere cool, customer service phenomenal! Wish we lived closer because we'd go back again and again. Highly recommend the Corpus Christi Bay cocktail 🍸

99% of the time the pizza is amazing. The last I went it was not crispy and it was dripping oil, not sure if it was a fluke. Will definitely be back again regardless. Shows are fun, sound system is too big for the place, but that's just me.

They have some of the best lunch in town, ESPECIALLY their pizza. It's full of fresh flavors and unlike anything else around. You can taste the difference in their crust, their cheese, sauce and all the other ingredients. Their earth day pizza is one of my favorites in addition to their classic pepperoni.

Great pizza and an amazing concert venue! Been to a few concerts and always looking for more tickets. Whoever was bartending (don't know their names) at the bar closest to the stage were fantastic for UABB. Fast, friendly, talented and worked the bar like seasoned professionals!

We were limited with food options so we decided to give this place a try. It's a bar that offers pizzas, calzones l, and salad..We Opted for the Supreme me pie..Lets just say we were highly disappointed. The pizza tasted like a frozen pizza with fresh vegetables. Save yourself time and $$$ and skip this place for pizzas. Now on the flip side they have a full bar and play rock music. The pizza is a 1 star however it was a cool vibe..

We went for an open mic night and had a great time. We ordered a few different types of pizza. There's not much else in the menu, but that's ok for a music venue. Great service, too.

Came with my husband and 3 kids, the ratings were so good I expected 4 stars but very disappointed. Walked in and nobody greets you until you stand around and there was several employees standing around at the bar and finally after a couple minutes someone finally says you can sit anywhere. They hand you some menus and ask you to order at the bar... I wouldn't say very family oriented but you can be loud. There were so many nats in air it was hard to enjoy your food. I had a cosmopolitan and yes the drinks were good! But the pizza no bueno. It was pizza from a box thrown in an oven. This definitely looks like a happening place at night with the live band venues but not for a family restaurant.

We came at an off time, walked in and were greeted by the bar tender. The atmosphere is definitely not your normal restaurant- it has musical instruments for lighting that are really cool. The staff were friendly and the food was fabulous. Definitely glad we stopped by for a late lunch!

Living in Houston makes it really hard to find great food. House of rock was decent. Food: two slices of pizza and some wings. The pizza was pretty decent. Kind of reminded me of the pizza I would get from Woolworth as a Kid. The ingredients tasted fresh. The wings were very different. Baked but decent too. Not the best wings or the best pizza but not the worst either. Very middle of the mall pizza and wings. The cookie was decent too. It was all decent. Service was good, quick and fast. The lady over the phone was very sharp and attentive. I could probably give 4 stars but I need some better pizza and wings. Once again if you are in the area stop in and give them a shot. I could have came by on an off day.

House of Rock has been killing it on all levels of greatness since they opened their doors and every time we stop in, they show up. They just simply show up. Great selection of beverages. We are sober and are thrilled when the place has Topo Chico and good NA's which HOR, of course had those bases covered. The sound was exactly what you'd expect, loud! Most of the people attending the show are long time friends which speaks to the establishment. It's almost like Corpus' version of Cheers. Good place, good people, good music, good vibes. Just good.

Not a bad place for some live music while you sit there and enjoy a pizza from the kitchen. It ain't the biggest place but sure is a comfortable one with a good atmosphere. This place sits downtown where walking out on a weekend night you can hear the night life all around you.

I never leave reviews in my life , with good or bad food. But whatever they just sold me was the worst pizza I ever had in my life (no like for real). 30$ for a pizza so I was like, it's gotta be good.... Nah.. 20$ for 12 wings.... Trash. It didn't help that they didn't cut the pizza. I feel like I been pranked. Waiting for Ashton Kusher to pop out any minute. I hope they get they life together. The workers were cool at least. Really nice. I mean they could've warned me.

We got jalapeños, bacon, and pineapple in the pizza. It didn't seem like they put many toppings in it. I didn't really like the deep dish pizza. The garlic bread and pepperoni knots were good. It ended up being $80 to doordash this which is a lot for mediocre pizza

Ordered two salads. Took about 25 minutes to prepare. Lettuce was not cut up and there was nothing else on it but croutons. So bad. Other salad was a Cobb salad. Avocado not ripe and not edible.

We had to give this place a try as mixed reviews on Yelp regarding their pizza. I got a Calzone and a Caesar salad. The salad wasn't anything special, but the calzone was the largest and BEST I have every had. You have to go to the front to order food through the host and asked for his recommendation and it was the meat lovers. Wow! Glad I followed his advice. I was able to take half home and eat it the following day. I would recommend it to anyone in the area. The lights were made of drums and they had TouchTunes and a live open mic band setup the night we went. The bartender made some great drinks as well. I will come back next time I'm in town.

Great atmosphere - parking is ample right across street - do not let the downtown location scare you. Wings were great and the pizza is amazing.

Bartender Daniel alot of help. Chk this place out pizza is delicious. They have some great bands that play as well as events. Great atmosphere for a casual drink and bite. If in the area drop in.

Service was ehhh! Pizza was fantastic! Music was good! We stopped in late because of an event and music was on full swing. Young people remixing some old tunes and we enjoyed.

Sketchy bartenders. Pizza is horrible. Will not back argued with me about total when charged me for two extra drinks i didn't order.

The Chicago style pizza was awesome the chicken wings were tasty the garlic bread was good

Service was super helpful. The wings are baked but don't let that stop you. Our wings were huge and super flavorful. They were fall of the bone tender. We order the the cheesy pie. The crust was crunchy and thin it stood up to the nice sauce and cheese. All appetizers are half off during happy hour. The staff kept the refills coming. I'm sure this place is jammin when live bands are there. Next time we will try the deep dish.

We ordered two pizza. Nearly $60. I remember the pizza not being great years ago. It's still not very good. Super bland. I'm not sure if there was even any sauce on it. Don't get me wrong, the service was amazing, but the food wasn't.

Wanted to try a different pizza place. Ended up here and seemed cool at first. The service was bad and the drinks were really bad. The wings came out and were dry af, the only good thing was the cheese bread. The pizza was really dry and not worth it.

Very impressed. This is a true music venue and the food is exceptional. After sitting down, I was ignored by the server pictured below. Luckily, Hannah recognized me and happily served me. The meatball sub tasted good and was on a nice roll. I will go back and make sure I sit in Hannah's section so I don't have to deal with that rude girl.

Really cool place. Seems it could be a little expensive for some people as our check for 1 pizza, 1 beer, one soda and tip was $50. The building is cool and staff was attentive. No issues nothing to complain about. The old school music videos were really cool.

Me and my girlfriend came to CC on a whim for a little vacation. We had never been here before and wanted to try a local restaurant. Needless to say, I'm SO glad we came here. It was a slower night for them but the staff was super friendly, and the food was *chefs kiss* We got a calzone, a slice of pizza and Caesar salad, and meatball sliders. Everything was soo good but those meatball sliders were freakin perfect. I have no idea what kind of sauce they gave us with them but holy moly, it was good. Will definitely be going back. Highly recommend!

The aesthetics is amazing. Great music for rock lovers. The food is delicious. Will revisit when in Corpus Christi.

Over priced. Pizza crust bland. Tasted like a frozen pizza from grocery store but triple the price. Wings were over cooked. Sliders had a small piece of pork on a small roll. Not worth their high prices. We will never go back

Easily some of the worst pizza we've ever had... even throwing in frozen or gas station pizza. I'll give 2 stars for the service. Anyone giving this more than 2 stars must consider good pizza to be the equivalent of a saltine cracker topped with condensed tomato soup and a slice of cheese. The meatballs were so bad you could see the giant chunks of bread in them. We are still sitting here talking about if we've ever had a worse pizza and the answer is a solid no.

The Bacon Cheeseburger Pizza was so good. The Garlic Parmesan Wings had fresh garlic on them. Wing were crispy and delicious. The meatballs were excellent!

Stopped for lunch during the pandemic. Was a bit empty but got busier. Food was good and sodas were delicious.

Let's first start off by saying that the staff is AMAZING! With that being said the food is just a AMAZING! It's a family friendly environment and my kids love coming here. We finally were able to enjoy their Deep Dish and wow just another great pie. Pepperoni rolls are a little bit of heaven you can dip in their Homemade rooster sauce. The selection of beer is also a plus. Please come by and try another local favorite.

We had a large pepperoni pizza and it was SO good! Loved the crust! Had it delivered and the driver was pleasant and recommended an evening event at the restaurant if it was "our type of thing".

Great Music! Great Food! GREAT OWNER! I have frequented House of Rock since 2008! I love everything this place has to offer. The establishment offers the most diverse array of entertainment and their meatball subs are the best!

Came here for a late lunch and it was perfect. Food was delicious, well portioned and priced...it hit the spot. Everything came out fast hot and fresh. The music that played wasn't live, but they had a section set up for any bands that came to play. Endless good music playing in the background with food makes this place a little hidden gem for lunch at least.

We ended up getting lost and finding this place. It was a great atmosphere and my kids thought it was so cool! Food was great, our waiter was very kind and attentive!! Will definitely be going back again!

My husband and I are visiting corpus for the first time and found this pizza place. Wow it was seriously so tasty. Only took a picture of the appetizers because once the pizza came we ate it so quickly. The wings are perfectly crunchy, the cheesy garlic bread was amazing and the pizza have us planning for our next date night. The staff were super friendly and we love supporting local. A must try.

The House of Rock is the Place to Rock! It is conveniently located downtown. Always a stop on the downtown bar crawl and a good dive bar if that is what you are into. Check the schedule for bands.

Very good food and cool atmosphere. The waitress we had was cool too! I got the pepperoni calzone which was delish and the music they were playing was also good (:

They have great reggae rock bands playing here. Been there 3 times already and still loving the ambiance. The food is so so. Pizzas are the best choice before going to the concerts. The manager Casey is awesome and very welcoming. We love this place. We wish there were more seats, but we know this place can get crowded.

Pizzas are excellent! all. Sandwich out of this world. My 18yr old wants to know what collages are in town so she can come eat here. Service is awesome. Prices are best in town. 3 pizzas, 1 sandwich, 1 apple calzone, 3 drafts, one bottle, and tip, $107.

Great pizza Great Vibe Put music on the jukebox Bartender turns it down to a level that you can barely hear...Ask to turn it up...she says it was too loud...it's a bar... I guess it's pizza to go!

We ordered the cheese pizza and supreme pizza. They were okay. The pizzas seemed very basic and the sauce was meh. However, I will say the veggies on the supreme seemed fresh.

Freakin delicious pizza! Thin crust, cheesy, wonderfulness! We ordered the Mother Earth with pesto, multiple cheeses and artichoke hearts, great flavor. Next time I'll add olives. The Greek salad is pretty big, lots of flavors and I put most of the kalmata olives on my pizza! They have live music and the theme decor was cool! The staff were friendly and it was clean. Will totally come back!

PIZZA REVIEW: Alrighty folks, their food and service get 3 stars. I love House of Rock for their bar and events, but honestly their pizza sucks. Every time I've had it, it's flavourless. The crust tastes like lunchables pizza crust. Their sauce is just missing something. I had their tomato soup once and that was pretty yum. This last time I went the girl taking our order was super rude. I do keep going back because I love this place in general, but if you're ISO of some stellar pizza, this may not be your place. Do go here for events and drinks, though!

Just thought that I would update my review! This place has become a Friday or Saturday hangout for me! The food the great! Wings are killer I always get Caribbean Jerk and a slice you can nvr go wrong! Staff is freakin friendly as hell which is a BIG plus! Concerts are freakin Great BIG plus! For me when I go out all roads begin or end at the House of Rock!

Ordered some pizza and wings delivered and oooh my how amazing it was! Top notch food! Keep it up
