House of X

JUST INCREDIBLE!!! I have only been to a Sunrise Daybreaker party 7-9am on a Friday morning. Absolutely in love with this place and space. Can’t wait to be back!!!

House of X at PUBLIC Hotel is breathing new life into the downtown cultural scene. Leave it to House of X / House of Yes fam / to spice things up! Loving the performances throughout the evening, solid drinks and great atmosphere with incredible art installations by local artists, no less, throughout. The vibe is anything goes x polished - it's nice to see PUBLIC work together with the nightlife scions at House of -- to get some momentum going in the entertainment space in lower Manhattan. Just the right jolt to get post-Covid nightlife off to a great start! Went to toast my birthday this year and already can't wait to go back. Love the vibe both upstairs & downstairs. Good: Music was mostly really good, fuzzy room was AMAZING, really good vibes and things to play with. Some cool creatures/costumes. Entering through the Public is nice. Can improve: Main room smelled liked farts the entire time. Bar logistics needs to be rethought, they use the screens to tip but they’re sometimes too far from you so the bartender had to enter the tip for me and he wanted to click 25%, just awkward. Coat check girls had no idea what they were doing.

I’m going to give this spot two stars for design and concept but the three missing stars truly came from the rude bar staff. I’ve also encountered this at the House of Yes location in Brooklyn as well. This should be addressed especially since these venues push uplifting all communities and that should start from the staff.

Had an incredible time here, overall an amazing atmosphere to party in. The place is beautiful with a great soundsystem and unique vibe. The crowd is classy and fun. Highly recommend checking it out.

Horrible experience, please don't go to this place, the bartender double charge me for my drinks and was super rude !!!!! when I ask to speak to a manager she start yelling at me and my group. and the place was super dirty.

the bartender girl was so rude, ruined the whole vibe… the music was not great and the decor looked nothing like the internet photos
