Visited for the first time on a Sunday: 3 families and brought 7 (yes, 7!) kids with us, we ordered and waited to be served. I went out the store and came back really quick, coming back in I read a sign that kids eat free on Sundays & Mondays. I asked the employee why she didn’t bother to mention it when we ordered as she noticed we had kids with us - she said the sign was out for people to read. Food is just ok and not very cheap.

First time trying this place, it was awesome! The staff was super courteous and polite. We got the sandwich and tender combo, plus Fusion Fries. Chicken was really tender and we felt Spicy was definitely a good balance between spicy and still being able to taste the flavor of the food. Fries were super hot and crispy, and seasoned well too. We also got the House and Cilantro sauces which were delicious for dipping. We went around lunch time and still got our food pretty fast, highly recommend this place!

I placed a to-go order on the app. My daughter picked up the order and stated that the customer service was great and the food was ready on time. I got the two piece tender/waffle meal and my daughter got the three piece tender meal. My habanero tenders were good, they just lacked a little salt but they were juicy. Once I dipped my tenders in the house sauce and ate my pickles, the lack of salt was ok. The fries were crispy and seasoned. The waffle was so good, didn’t even need the syrup. My daughter said her tenders also lacked salt but over all the flavor was good and they were juicy. She liked the fries and really loved the blueberry lavender lemonade was great! We will definitely be back!!!

Good variety of chicken meals with great variety of spice levels. Go see Jackson and staff at the at La Centera in Katy. So helpful and knowledgeable about the menu. Food was good, would recommend and definitely return.

If you love chicken, you have to try this place! They have chicken strips, nuggets, sandwiches and loaded fries. Chicken is the star of the show here and you can pick your spice level. We usually get the chicken sandwich and the kids meal. The staff are very welcoming and service is great. The only thing I wouldn’t get again is the tortilla soup. It was too runny. The fries can get pretty salty as well, so I like to sub with coleslaw. Every time we come to La Centerra, this is where we come for a quick meal. They also have kids eat free on Sundays if you buy a main entree. Great deal!

La Centerra, across from Torchy’s tacos. Park on the side and run in to try this place! I haven’t been disappointed with their chicken any of the times I’ve visited. They have the flavor and heat you’re looking for. So far the only menu item I’ve tried and haven’t been impressed with is the slaw. The lemonades are another story, def add one to your order!

Super crispy, juicy chicken with bold spice and flavor. The slaw and pickles balance it perfectly, and the sauce pulls it all together. One of the best hot chicken sandwiches I’ve had. 🌶️🔥

Sandwich & Tenders - One of the best hot chicken sandwiches I've had in Houston! Perfectly crispy with amazing flavor, but I personally preferred the tenders. They were even juicier. The sauce was light but flavorful. 9.5/10 Fries - A must-try! Super crispy, fresh, and seasoned perfectly. 10/10 Service - Friendly and helpful staff. 10/10

Great place, excellent atmosphere and in the La Centera area. If you are walking around beautiful lady centerra you need to stop in. By hot chicken they mean hot. Sandwiches, wings and all from mild all the way to Carolina reaper hot. You have to sign a waver for the hottest items and that is understandable. I had the habanero to see how it was. It was great, sandwich had lots of good taste, meat was a nice portion and habanero meat was spot on. Sandwich was big enough that my guest and I could share. I'm going to try the next level up on next visit. It does hurt though about 2 hrs later lol. Ya'll know what I am writing about. Lol. Great staff and great idea for a place.

Location is easy to find with plentiful parking in the shopping center. The service was great. You order cafeteria style and they'll call you up when it is ready. They also have a bar area which is nice. The food tasted great. I got a chicken sandwich meal and tenders. Spice level for hot was perfect for me.

Again, another great meal for the wife and I. Sat outside as it is a beautiful day. After seeing the size of the chicken tender, we split the 3-pc tenders and fries. We each ate one tender (about a half or a chicken breast? And took the other one home. Perfect meal for us.

Me and my hubby love this place. We share a meal each time and it is always the right amount of food. The chicken is awesome! We have been 3 or 4 times already and plan to return several more times. Bar service is lacking so that the reason for the 4 stars and not 5.

Another win for all you Halal-ers! The service was great. The food came out fast and was delicious. My kids really enjoyed it. There is a lot of seating inside and a very chill atmosphere and ambiance. I would definitely recommend this place to my friends and family. The fact that it's halal is a definite plus!

4.5 2nd time here! Loved it so much the 1st time I came back 2 days later. Service was fantastic once again. Decided to try out something different this time. I got the waffle milkshake (5 stars), fries, and honey butter tenders. Tenders were juicy BUT the honey butter lacks flavor unfortunately. It barely came through. My sister got lemon pepper and I wish I would've ordered that flavor instead. That being said, I'll be back anyways and will either order lemon pepper or mild. Place was clean as usual, music at a good volume, and service was quick and it was nice that the staff checks on us every now and then.

Not the best hot chicken Iv had, but pretty good! The staff were friendly, but the food took quite awhile to come out even though we were the only ones there. Their sauces had great flavor and the portion sizes were good for the price point. It has a nice inside bar and the decor is cool. Would eat again!

Stumbled upon here as we were deciding where to eat. Great chicken store with extremely spicy levels. I got 3 chicken tenders and you can customize spicy levels, decided to try lift off for one of them. Booooooyyyy was it spicy but amazing. If you can tolerate good spicy food, you have to try them. Maybe will try the Houston level next time. Fries were ok, came with a sauce. They also served drinks aka full bar. Clean and tidy. It is $$$ for chicken, but better than many other chicken stores. Will be back!

The service was great and the prices were doable, in Houston and surrounding areas there are a plethora of hot chicken restaurants and with hhc this was just okay. I feel as if the chicken could've been seasoned more , would def give it another shot though since they have plenty of other menu items

The temperature isn't the only HOT thing in Houston!! Stopped in to pick up some tortilla soup to go! Spice level "Houston, we got a problem" makes you sweat, but I love it! The spicier, the better! It's the best $5 you'll ever spend. The location is bright, clean, with modern decor, and spacious. The staff is super friendly, helpful, and patient.

Yes, yes, YES!! Every time it's amazing! I highly recommend the classic chicken sandwich with buffalo as the flavor sauce. The bun is perfect, the coleslaw adds a nice cool crunch, the pickles are crisp and delicious, the house sauce adds an extra layer of flavor, and the chicken that is moist and tender...so much yumminess! Have about 10 napkins on hand too! Besides the food, it has a nice vibe. Trendy bar scene or casual outside dining or even chill inside with friends- options! Enjoy this place- it's definitely my new favorite!

I finally made it to this place. It's been a long time coming and I'm happy to see what the hype was about. The establishment itself was very clean and welcoming. It was an easy menu to choose from with the ability to choose your own spice level. The French fries were on point and the sandwich hit the mark, no doubt. The cashier was great, explained everything very well ( my first time here ) and advised on some great lemonades which we tried and they were perfectly refreshing. ( you can sample them all first too )

This place has one of the best chicken sandwiches in town! I first discovered it at a Yelp event when they just opened, and I've been hooked ever since. I've already been there twice and plan to go many more times. Their sandwiches are epic--flavorful, tender chicken with plenty of spice levels to choose from. It's now my kid's favorite sandwich spot and mine too. They also offer a great selection of house lemonades; my favorite is the strawberry hibiscus lemonade. The staff is friendly, and the ambiance inside is both fun and welcoming. Highly recommend!

Minus half a star. Nothing fancy here. It's just like any of the chain chicken sandwich places. Not only that it is just like the chicken place that was here for 6months. Also the scoville rating is no where near its stated on the signage. I had the spicy and not any spicier than a jalapeño. At the end of the day this place is average.

I've gone several times already, and it always hits. The chicken is juicy and tender on the inside and crispy on the outside. It's got a very nice flavor to it, and it pairs super well with the house sauce! The fries OH LAUD THE FRIES are SOOO GOOOOD. I usually don't like crinkle cut because they're always so soft and soggy, but these are perfect. They're crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. They're also always perfectly seasoned. I have tried all the milkshakes too and the strawberry is my favorite. The chocolate is pretty good too, although I prefer strawberry. The waffle milkshake is ok. I feel like it was a bit messy to eat/drink, and I don't personally prefer vanilla flavors, but still good! The inside seating is very nice. There's a lot of areas you can choose between. There is also a lot of natural light coming in through the windows, which makes it very pleasant. There was only one time where the service felt a bit rude, but everyone has off days! It was a one time thing, and I've only ever experienced good things aside from that.

I was there for their Grand Opening in Katy. They actually gave away free chicken sandwiches and soda. This place is really nice and a good place to eat and socialize. All of the staff were really nice and helpful, even though it was packed. I got my order to go and regretted not eating there. The chicken was spot on, but the fries were just AMAZING! I loved the chicken, but can't get over how good the fries were. The prices were good and overall just a new place to put on your to visit locations. I'm having a problem with my other pics, will try to attach later.

I was skeptical until I saw the menu. This place is legit! I had the honey butter, and my mouth was super happy I didn't subject it to the punishment my husband did to his. He had the F around and find out flavor they call "Houston, we have a problem." Before one is permitted to order this diabolical chicken a waiver must be signed. My big fella can almost always handle the heat. Not this time. The flavor was so good he wanted more, but his body was very mad at him. The fries are so yummy, no sauce was needed! I'm telling y'all, LEGIT! Swing by and let this wonderful staff hook you up with some yummies that won't hurt unless you're adventurous in which case, they'll light you up!

I came here with my boyfriend and had the best experience! Customer service was outstanding, the good was incredible and probably makes my top spot for a list of best hot chicken places. My boyfriend ordered the second spicy chicken option (scorpion pepper) and he was given a mild spice chicken sandwich instead by mistake. Staff was very accommodating and ended up fixing his order and giving the right sandwich for free after he already had finished the mild spice sandwich. They really went over and beyond to make our first experience great. We will definitely be coming back!

First time at Houston Hot Chicken, it opened quite recently so I was excited to try. The place is open and fresh. The staff was very welcoming and attentive. I ordered and just wanted the sandwhich but paid/got the meal instead, don't think the person understood but that is okay. I got the mild sauce which was not spicy at all however it was very delicious. The sauce was buttery and honey like. The sandwhich was great, it was blump and large however some of the initial bites was just filled with bun and no chicken. The chicken was flavorful and juicy and the highlight of the whole meal had to be the sauce again. I could skip on the fries next time but I would come back and try their tenders and shakes.

Love this place! Great decor with the marble counter and the gorgeous painting, making it even cooler. The painter painted with bold colors which matched the restaurant theme. The food is great, my personal favorite is spicy chicken tenders, southwest salad, fries and tortillas soup. You definitely won't find an another place who can make such a juicy, savory and fresh chicken tenders, but it's better to eat it on site. My baby is obsessed with their fries and honey butter tenders. It's great that the chicken is free range and halal. The service is amazing and prompt. You can even try their signature lemonade before you order. Also tried their cocktail while enjoying the live music on central green. What a great weekend!

Please check your receipts before leaving, I was told kids meals would be free and upon reviewing my receipt the next day , I found they had charged me $13.98 for the kids meals . I called the Katy location and was told they can't do anything about it since it's the next day . Figure that one , in this day and age they can't credit my card because it's the next day . They said I could come in and get 2 free kids meals not easily done when you live in another town . This was our first time there , it will definitely be our last and I will tell friends and family of this kind of service.

Great service and the food came out fresh and hot. Additionally, the service was fast so we got our food pretty quickly which was good since we were hungry. The meat was tender and the sauce was scrumptious. Would eat again !!!

Drop everything and rush to houston hot chicken to try their most crazy fried hot chicken. Since moving to Katy, I have been looking for the perfect hot chicken and my search ended with HHC KATY. Located conveniently in La Centerra, the HHC Katy has a very clean facility with tons of options and spice levels. I tried the chicken tender combo and my mind has been blown away. Very fast and efficient service. Can't wait to come back!

First of all, this place is so nice! The vibes are definitely here. Customer service is top notch as well. I ordered the Texas Cesar salad with a watermelon cucumber lemonade. My food was fresh, hot and yummy! No complaints from my table! My family and I will be back.

Very clean establishment with welcoming staff ready to answer questions and take your order. The full bar is bordered wirhnice, CLEAR, TV's to enjoy football. French fries are perfectly crispy. I preferred the hot cheesy sandwich over the waffles though.

I came here for a Yelp event but also got some food to go for my husband that wasn't included. I got him the chicken and waffles meal and it was well done and survived the 35 minute car ride back. We also got the blue cookie and it wasn't sweet at all which was nice because my toddler wanted it. I took zero pictures. It's just hard to get to because the lack of the shopping center parking and the immense heat. Otherwise a very friendly staff and a clean place.

Absolutely the best hot chicken in town! We're taking our staff here for our end-of-year celebration, and I couldn't be more excited. The customer service is exceptional, and the location is perfect for accommodating large groups--like ours with 60 people. Highly recommended!

The art work is nice and the music is good. They serve crispy chicken with a variety of hot sauce flavors, fries, salads, and sandwiches. Unfortunately, no grilled tenders are available. Prices range between 8-15 dollars. I got the southwest crispy salad with mild tenders since it is a dry rub. The salad was a nice portion size, full of flavor and just enough crispy chicken. Only down side was the cilantro/house dressing. It was too sweet for my taste. I would get it on the size next time. Also, got the fries. They season it with a mild paprika that was also a bit sweet for my liking. They were kind to replace the fries without the seasoning. Overall, I would recommend this place if you're just looking for spicy crispy sandwiches.

Our whole family loves fried chicken, we couldn't wait to try it. The chicken was super juicy and flavorful, not dry at all. According to their description, they use fresh chicken, which makes it tender. The outside was crispy, and I personally think it's better than other fried chicken places. The kids devoured the fries as soon as they arrived--they love fries! I especially enjoyed their waffles. They were flavorful without even needing syrup, crispy on the outside and soft inside. If I weren't worried about gaining weight, I would have ordered more! For those watching their diet, they have the Southwest salad with protein, veggies, and even mango! The restaurant is neat and clean, and the food comes out quickly. Their service is great, friendly staffs. The location is great too, right next to the plaza in LaCenterra, where you can catch performances on the weekends. Five-star rating!
