Houston's

I like the place, the ambiance, the lighting, the service, the location, the crowd, the everything! But the food? I LOVE it!! It has always been perfect to the T. It might be considered a relatively expensive place for some, however, they charge you for the quality of food & the consistency in the taste/texture/look and presentation of the same. Now, I understand they're trying to cut down on plastic waste but, I like a straw in my drink so...I'd like the management to think of an alternative. Offer to bring a straw for the picky guests? Get glass straws (hah!) if paper ones are not acceptable either perhaps? It's tough trying to dodge the ice cubes and sipping your drink with loads of air bubbles and there's lipstick on the edge of the glass and...just messy. Management, please do give it a thought. Over 26 years in business and Houston’s has managed to maintain their high quality of food and service. Their prices are comparably similar to many other restaurants whose quality doesn’t come close to Houston’s. I know without a doubt that when I order a medium rare steak, that’s what I’ll get. I can’t say that about many steakhouses. If you haven’t been to Houston’s lately, what are you waiting for?

Arctic char was delicious cooked to perfection. Mashed potatoes tasted great. Seasonal Grilled Artichokes were delicious. Cocktails are great. Only complaint was that my cocktail was inadvertently removed from the table and I had not finished it.

Service - Took 4 waiters to get a glass of water after we had our meal. Food Tuna Salad always a winner and Grouper sandwich 1st time and it was good.

Fantastic food, great service, perfect upscale feeling with acceptable prices. And these ribs... To die for! The lemonade could be a little less sower :)

One of the best veggie burgers offered in Houston. Great place for a date night. Parking is a little tight but the quality in food, environment, and service make up for it.

Austin pampered us well. Food was to perfection. Beyond pleased. Thank you Austin. Thank you Houston's for making my special day exceptional!

Awesome place to come with family and friends for an elegant dinner. Fresh lemonade as well as fresh ingredients, well worth the wait! Steak is tender and the hamburgers are delicious. Will definitely recommend.
