Houumy - Review - Riou - Petit Juas - Av. De Grasse - Cannes - The Infatuation
"Following the success of her Marché Forville stand, chef Sophear Hou opened a second Houumy a 10-minute walk from the train station. Hou typically holds court in the tiny open kitchen of this sit-down spot, cheerfully carrying on a conversation with regulars while whipping up an impressive range of dishes spanning Japan to Vietnam, like chewy udon, wonton soup, and bò bún that deliver on texture with its crispy spring rolls, smooth rice noodles, and crunchy carrots and bean sprouts. Everything arrives mild to medium spicy—you won’t be reaching for a glass of milk, but you can always ask for a sliced chili on the side if you want to up the zing. Come to this no-fuss place to grab takeout for the train, or when dinner calls for something quick." - Sophie Friedman
I’m from Japan/Hong Kong and my husband is from India. Traveling in France for 2 weeks already and we were craving for Asian foods. All the dishes from starters to dessert were amazing! We would highly recommend to stop by no matter if you are from local here or not :)
