Where To Find The Best Matcha In London - London - The Infatuation

"This Marylebone cafe is a real scene. Customers pull loyalty cards out of Dior saddles and DJ pop-ups turn How Matcha into a full-on party. But on a regular Tuesday, you won’t find a party. Instead you’ll find smooth, balanced matchas infused with things like rose water or espresso shots. Our go-to order is the iced Spanish latte that’s sweet, without being sickly, and still maintains that nuttiness from the matcha." - rianne shlebak

The matcha there is next-level smooth, rich, not too sweet, just spot on. The guys working there are super chill and genuinely friendly, not in a fake customer service way, just cool people doing their thing. The place itself is gorgeous too clean, fresh, and has that kind of effortless aesthetic that makes you want to stay longer. Definitely a go-to spot whether you’re grabbing a quick cup or just hanging out for a bit.

One the best places in London, I won’t call it a Matcha store, its not just that, its a home to so many people in the Marylebone community. If you’re looking for a great Matcha, a great Coffee, a great place to chill, make friends, and be part of a community, this is your place to be! The owner is extremely creative, everyday there is something new, from pop ups, to community dinners, to collaborations, to new menu item, and all the way to 1 meter incense stick in a beautiful bonsai tree outside the store! Highly highly recommend How Matcha and be on the lookout for more from this owner!

If you love matcha or you’re curious what the fuss is about, How Matcha is an essential stop. From traditional ceremonial blends to experimental flavours, the range is bold, balanced, and beautifully crafted. The Spanish Blossom iced matcha was a personal highlight — sweet, floral, and dangerously sippable without tipping into gimmick territory. The vibe is modern zen with plenty of heart, and the staff know their stuff. It can get busy and seating is limited, but the atmosphere and quality more than make up for it. Easily one of the best matcha spots in London — a little haven for matcha fiends and curious caffeine hunters alike. Already plotting my next visit. And the one after that. And the one after that. Authenticity. Charm. Outstanding matcha. And a menu that somehow gets me. How Matcha isn’t just a vibe — it’s a lifestyle, and honestly, I’m ready to sign up for the membership

It’s a lovely and cozy matcha shop. The place isn’t very big. I visited on a Saturday around 11 AM, so it was quite crowded. There were some seats available inside, but not too many. I ordered a Matcha Latte and got a strong matcha flavor. The cookie was delicious but on the sweeter side.

Where do I start? From the owner to the staff to the matcha to the coffee everything about this place is amazing, a big shoutout to Callum & Mariko for making every visit special! They also have a run club which I’m so looking forward to, keep up the great work guys

The staff are always fantastic, super friendly. The dirty matcha iced latte has become one of my favourite drinks. At around £5 it’s pretty decent value too.

Vibey, delicious, aesthetic. There's almost always a line but that's ok because the matcha is delicious and it comes in all forms -- classic latte form, tonics, baked goods and more. A bit of a wait for a latte because they mix it by hand, but very satisfying overall.

I’m all about my matcha 🍵 matcha tea, matcha baked goods, matcha anything, I’ll try it! It only seemed fitting since I was headed to Marylebone today that I check out the cafe, How Matcha. Everything is matcha based and delicious! Service was quick even thought they were quite busy. I’d like to go back and try several more things on the menu. I would’ve stayed longer, but the space is VERY small and there was no room anywhere…..
