I have mixed feelings here. The pizza is very good albeit a little on the pricey side, so I have to go four stars instead of 5. It's neopolitan style so it's a fast cook in a beautiful custom built oven that is a centerpiece in the restaurant. For that reason there is a trade-off. It lacks the crisp undercarriage you might want from a NY style, but that's the way most neopolitan's are - a bit on the softer side with some charring on the top. By contrast, Anythony's coal fire is a bit of a hybrid. It is cooked in a neopolitan style but has more of a NY style crust and chew. At How Ya Dough'n I got a 16" with onions peppers and mushrooms on one half for $30 and another 12" half peperoni for $20 - it's definately more expensive than other local options, but if you crave an authentic neopolitan style and don't mind paying a few extra dollars, then you won't be dissapointed. The restaurant is beautiful overall and run very efficiently. The staff was extremely friendly and very attentive. I can't help but to think though, that it might be better to eat there than take it to go. I only had a 7 minute drive home, but this style of pizza begs to be eaten straight out of the oven. NY style is a bit more forgiving with transportation time.
