Sourdough crust = brilliant. Organically bringing your creativity to your family, neighbors, and community- in that order = authentic. Releasing specials every month to keep experimenting plus create mad FOMO = creative. And smart!
And the real proof is in the pudding: it all tastes so good!
I can't decide if my favorite part of How Ya Dough'n is the pizza, the people, or the pun. A smile is already happening just reading the name of the business (mad points for that, whomever pulled the trigger on this name!), the origin story is humble and inspiring, the menu choices are off the charts different and desirable (who can get past the pistachio, honey, truffle pizza?! thanks a lot... forever doomed to order one of these with every purchase); already off to a great start before ever even entering the store or tasting the dough.
Then there is the people. I felt at home every time I have stopped by. An open kitchen where people seem to be having fun and like being around each other, despite putting together non-stop orders? Please let me know when you start your apprentice program.
And, last but not least, I admit I eat all the crusts. I love the dough. I love the flavors. I love trying the different flavors. Thanks for being cool people and making cool stuff.
p.s. and they carry this elusive, exclusive, stevia-sweetened organic tea blend drink that is delicious and very difficult to find. It's not often that a pizza place has such desirable drinks on hand. sigh. and my bill keeps adding up!!!
p.p.s. points for carrying beer from Prosperity Brewers, keeping it micro-local and supporting another great biz.
