Great value for the location and price. They seemed to have recently renovated or made modern additions to the rooms, it had all the basics. TV worked well, but only the most basic channel, there was Wifi but it didn't work on the TV for some reason. The AC in one room was really loud making it a bit difficult to sleep, but the bed was comfy. Front desk attendant was pleasant and helpful. It's a good place for a short stay or something more budget friendly.

We went up for the weekend and had a total of 6 rooms. The staff worked hard to get us rooms together. When we got to the rooms we were pleasantly surprised how new and fresh the rooms were. We later found out that it was recently renovated. The beds were super comfortable and the cleaning staff was there each morning to make sure our floors stayed clean and our beds were made. They had fresh coffee in the nothing. I would definitely recommend this place! It was really in the perfect spot, the perfect price and a perfect stay.

Perfect location and rooms are clean and updated. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Pool is a little dated still BUT clean and plenty of seating. Don’t think there is a better option at this price. Could not find a negative to be honest.

Great value! Ideal location, great price. Room looked newly renovated. Included all of the basics. Room is on the small side, not much space for suitcases. But it's ideal for short stays. TV worked well, had most basic channels. We would stay here again.

Very accommodating for our families needs with extra extra pillows, etc. Renovated. enjoyed the stay, even though the rooms were a bit small.

We recently stayed for a wedding in LG , the couple confirmed the room rate for the wedding was 99 and we were charged 144. I got an email stating check out was at 1100 at 1000 am there was banging on the door and when we didn’t answer a tall African American male came in and stated we needed to get out now.. extremely scared I called 911 then he told us he was the house keeper and refused to leave so the front desk was called and they did nothing about it and said we were absolutely right check out was at 11am. The male continued to bang on the door and we felt very unsafe leaving. Worse experiences ever this place should be shut down

I can not express how clean this whole place was. We stayed in room 215. Staff at the front desk was professional and very friendly. The entire property is clean and very well kept. Cleaning lady came in everyday to do our floors and gave us new towels. She too was very sweet. I would definitely recommend this place.

I have stayed here every time for the last 10 years. Just stay this passed weekend and was so disappointed. The WiFi is awful I had to keep signing in went off and on at lease 20 times durning my stay. The tv had hardly any stations and when you did find a movie it kept frezzing up. The rooms were clean and the man at the front desk is very polite. Also the pool was closed and then when they did open it the water was cold and pool was dirty. I’m not sure what happened to this once loved place but it has completely gone down hill. I always looked forward to staying here when we come to Lake George staff is great i guess it’s time to find a somewhere else for our trip. Very very disappointed

The staff is nice the room was clean, it's small though. May be the smallest hotel room I've ever stayed in. Outside of that it was solid and we got a good nights sleep which is the purpose.

This Howard Johnsons offers basic accommodation. All I want in basic accommodation is "comfortable and clean"-- and this location has all the basic amenities. Set back a bit from Main Street, our room was quiet all night. Would stay here again!

This was a fine establishment in the best possible location for us on our little one. It was to the right of the gaslight bar and restaurant which was phenomenal and fairly priced. And across from kitty rides and an indoor arcade. And of course to the left of the parking lot is Canada Street which is where everything is we were able to walk to get a boat able to walk to the shops etc. Great price great Location can't beat it.

Room decor is ugly, bed was HARD, I could hear the people upstairs walking around, the bathroom has someone else's hair on the shower curtain, there is no duvet- just two flat sheets sandwiching a tissue thin "blanket", and when I turned the heat on to warm the room it smelled like something was on fire. It set off the smoke detector in the room.
