Beautiful view of the bridge. Spacious area. Pretty comfortable. Bartenders were fast. It was kinda pricey for things but the view made up for it.

Hu. Roof is located on the 17th top floor of the Hu.Hotel. With no line no wait Sunday late afternoon and was in awe of the unobstructed gorgeous views of the Mississippi River, Hernando Desoto Bridge and rural Arkansas. You can spot the Memphis sign and Mississippi Riverwalk from up here. The Watermelon Rancher cocktail is pure blissful liquid Jolly Rancher. Recommend the sweet tooth order this drink! The DJ rocked out hip oldies and tunes that will get you feeling the perfect carefree vibe.

The bar is quite tight in the service area, but the view is very nice once you can get through to get a drink. The service is quite slow however due to the lack of employees working behind the bar. If you do get to order, only get a cocktail. I tried three different beers, and they were all flat. A friend came before 11pm and tried to order one shot and pay cash and was refused by the bartender. Also, do not come in the summer - very hot with no AC. Most people at the bar come in and out very quickly, so it's a bit challenging to establish an enjoyable atmosphere if you are looking to make friends and talk to new people. The DJ was wearing overalls with only one strap buttoned in the midst of the summer, which kind of irritated me. In conclusion, the only great thing about this establishment is the view. Thanks.

This cozy rooftop bar offers a stunning view of the Memphis-Arkansas Bridge and the Mississippi River—an ideal spot to catch the sunset. The ambiance is relaxing, the drinks were enjoyable, and the staff was friendly and polite. A hidden gem worth visiting!

My partner and I had great fun visiting this rooftop while we were in Memphis. We went on a sunday afternoon/evening and this seemed to coincide with a DJ event which was clearly a popular event with the locals. It made for a really vibrant atmosphere and we enjoyed the music whilst watching a brilliant sunset. Would recommend if you're in the area!

The venue is 5/5. I would highly recommend this place if the service was better. The bartenders do a good job but our server was forgetful, slow, and sort of like a deer in headlights when I would ask him a questions. He forgot drinks. Often would tell me he would find out about something and never come back. I asked him how a menu item was and he said "I dont know" and just stared at me blankly. I asked for a monitor and he said he wasnt sure if they had rum but he would check...lets just say I'm still waiting for an answer and it's a day later. Otherwise I would highly recommend this place.

Drinks were great. View was awesome. Food was okay. Service was top notch by the bar staff

Good spot for relaxing sunset and evening views over the Mississippi and the bridge light show. Service was adequate and pleasant, but overall this place needs a refresh and was underwhelming. Everything's decked out in Miami deck wear and this place could really pop with a designer's eye and some investment. The planters are a nice idea but not used anymore. Couches, etc. sit just below the line of the railing making a view of the bridge while sitting not optimal. Not many people up here on a Friday night, although it was a Holiday weekend, but you gotta create the FOMO atmosphere and Hu has the views to do that. Still A-Okay for a drink watching the bridge light show and a relaxing quiet hang.

Five for view. Four for cocktails. Three for food. Three for service. The views and the vibe though make up for everything. I would definitely make this an evening destination before you head out to listen to music. At least try a cocktail (no beer on tap). I bet the deck is great in warmer weather.

While Hu Rooftop undoubtedly has the best rooftop view in Memphis, it's honestly such a miss every time. This bar has so much potential, yet every time I go it's either empty or just a large hotel group there. There's also no real drink menu - just a bar. Certainly wish for more at the Hu but always love an opportunity for a good view.

Super cool spot to hang out, especially around sunset. Very good selection of local beers and other drinks. Came for an event with an open bar, so I can't comment on the prices. Our waitress was super nice and attentive. Plenty of seating.

The views and the drinks were amazing! Def go here to catch the sunset and meet some locals. I had a great conversation with a couple that was there. I was even lucky enough to be there when the Grizzlies won so the bridge that you can see from the rooftop was spelling out some fun things! Bartender wore a worn out baggie black t-shirt, didn't have salt or know what was in stock at her own bar. She didn't know the name of the very drinks she made. She must be related to a manager! The hotel receptionist didn't even know if it was open when we arrived and said she never really knows.

This roof top "gem" is a great place to unwind after work, a kick back with the crew or just trying to find a vibe downtown. The bartenders Kaye and Michael are great mixologists. They make you feel welcomed and at home. This is a great hang out spot if you want a roof top experience. The picturesque view is breath taking. The only downside is the lack of finger food and TVs to chill and watch a sporting game or two.

The service wasn't prompt at all, we went with our 3 year old and waited a long time for his drink. The ambiance was beautiful and so are the views so we will definitely be coming back again for that. Unfortunately there wasn't food to try when we were there, not sure if they have a menu or not? No one gave us information on that.

I asked the bartender if they could make a Negroni; they said yes; the bartender then made a drink of half gin and half Campari and said here is your Negroni... It's a 3 ingredient drink, completely skipping one of them is kinda a big deal. If you can't make it just say so, that's why I asked... Also had an on-menu drink that was equally as disappointing. There are better rooftops in memphis and certainly better drinks.

If you want a great cocktail and incredible view of the Mississippi River + Mighty Lights, you must give Hu. Roof a try! The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because the service was a bit slow, but other than that it was a great find. I love a good rooftop, and this rooftop will give you the perfect view of the Mighty Lights light show (starts at sundown at the top and half of every hour). I tried the Blue Suede Shoe cocktail (vodka, ginger, lime, fresh raspberry), and it was very refreshing!

Went to the Hu Rooftop for a few drinks tonight before the Chris Stapleton concert and the bar tenders did an excellent job! Nice rooftop bar and friendly staff highly recommend!!

Don't waste your time going here. Cocktails are $20, wine was horrible, service was rude. Great view, however.

Can't get through on the phone after I had a reservation via Open Table (to which they removed access but didn't send a note. Finally got through to change my reservation; Accepted reservations but then states it's first come first serve. Didn't bother even attempting. Bummer, as the place has a great view.
