This place is a hidden gem! Service by Kyle was fantastic! Our refills were there before asking. Every serving was oversized! Pizza was huge! One $6 slice with whatever you want on it was great!! Drinks were tasty! Grandson had 4 refills of sweet tea! The atmosphere was fun with games available. The food was tasty & delicious! We ordered food to go as well! The prices were inexpensive and very reasonable! Will return!

Truly a one of one dining experience. Amazing pizza for the price. The atmosphere is seriously one of a kind. Great place to grab a drink and watch the game. I will be back.

Best dive bar in America?? This place was such a surprise to us and we were lucky to find out about it. You have to see it to believe it. It’s on the left as you come into Tybee on the North Beach end. Funky, grungy, grimy, you name it, but awesome in its own way! Believe it or not the pizza is quite good and a very good value for the money. It was $6 a slice, and it was almost the equivalent of three slices. The service wasn’t necessarily the best as some of the bar staff seemed a little inattentive and not particularly friendly to tourists. But we got served, so no worries. It’s quite dark on the inside, but there is an outdoor patio area with bench seating. Just give it a go, it’s a memorable experience to say the least!!

A great little bar serving good, strong margaritas. It can sometimes take a while to be served but be patient. We have had food in the past which has been good but we mostly go for the margaritas! Great atmosphere in a grungy bar with very reasonable prices. We keep going back!

Hidden gem on the island! Unbeatable prices and large portions. Seating is on your own so if you see a spot, you'd better grab it. There's no wait list, quickest one wins lol. Pizza is awesome and very large, salads are amazing, with lots of toppings, very similar to a Greek salad. Staff are friendly and food comes quick. I would say it's semi-kid friendly. It is a bar atmosphere but then again it depends on the crowd. Steep stairs to enter or wheelchair accessible around the corner. Careful, slippery when wet. Clean restrooms

One of the most unique and interesting pizza restaurant I have ever visited. Decore is out of this world they even have Starbucks logo sign. Whole environment if friendly very good pizza and drinks. If they reduce cheese on plain pie and leave it in the oven for another minute that will give more crisp and burnt marks on the pizza. Can’t wait to come back. i’ve heard people recommending this place for a while now but am rarely on tybee. we spent our anniversary day at the beach and since we passed by it thought hey we should go here. we went in pretty blind, i was actually expecting this to be a seafood place so was surprised to be ordering pizza. that being said, the pizza was awesome and the crust had a great flavor. it was quick and reasonably priced. maybe not the most romantic spot to go to but i think it was a good choice. i do agree that they should hire a hostess, as it is a little confusing to seat yourself if there’s no tables but thankfully we got one as a group was leaving. i would definitely come back, thanks for a good meal on a special day!

One of the best meals we had on our whole trip to Tybee/Savannah! We found a table relatively quickly, it’s all seat yourself so you may have to wait. The bartenders were very quick with service and answered our questions. Thinking we didn’t need an entire 18” pizza, we decided to each order two different slices so we could get exactly what we wanted. A “slice” is 1/4 of that 18” pizza🤣. The pizza was absolutely delicious. The atmosphere was great, a wonderful place for a chill, casual dinner on the island.

Huge Pizza that is loaded . nacho are soooo good and lots of them ! I mean lots !! We have visited this location every year for a long time . some times for Lunch and dinner . fun location . great staff . only thing I wish the would do is dust Their lamps And decor off .

The concierge at our hotel in savannah pointed us to this place. He said it was "the best slice of pizza" he ever had. After eating here, he should get out more. Huc-a-poos was crowded, loud and above all DIRTY. We had the white pizza and it was underwhelming. There is so much stuff all over the walls and ceilings coated in layers of dust and dirt I feared it was going to end up on out food. This place is popular but I have no idea why. How it gets a good health score I don't know. Should we visit Tybee again, we won't be stopping by

The absolutely, positively best "dive bar/restaurant" on the island. The pizza was amazing & amazingly priced. You can buy pizza by the slice (which is pretty much 1/4 of a pizza). The Pizza is wonderful & the crust was perfect. THE BEST PART......you can get whatever you want ON...ONE.....SLICE. I'm an anchovy guy, but my family can't stand them.......rarely am I able to get a pizza "my way", but not at Huc A Poos........they get me. :) Safety tip........if you want a T-shirt they can be ordered online, but the appear to run about a size smaller than they should. I'm a big guy & ordered a 3x, but when it arrived it was clearly 2x sizing. (width & length).....tag said 3x, so just must be a brand thing. (Sadly they don't offer a 4x, or i'd reorder)

I went here with my family while visiting Tybee for lunch because we heard the pizza's were good. We were in total a party of 8 and we were seated quickly outside, which was perfect given the weather. Even though I didn't go into the restaurant the appearance looking in wasn't that great to me so I would suggest sitting outside.My Dad, Brother and I ended up sharing the cheeseburger and meat lovers pizza. I really liked the meat lover's and while I thought the cheeseburger was ok, I wouldn't get it again. I also had a margarita which was good. The waiter was very busy but he did a good job checking on us. I would recommend trying this place out if you're in town.

A great laid back, VERY reasonably priced pizza place! When you order a slice, it's huge. More like 3 slices in one. Server was fun and efficient. Definitely recommend if you're looking for a relaxing place to get pizza.

Well visiting the area and had the craving for pizza. Well a biddy who visits Tybee often suggested here. Glad he did. First the joint itself. What a dive. Crazy looks like it's held together by glue and at the same time cool as anything. Really neat joint. Staff: our server (forgot her name - dam) was so sweet. Joked with us, was very friendly, AND did a great job taking care of us. Now the food: We had the Carnivore. Although we hear the slices are huge - we still went for the whole pizza. It was very very good. Full of meat as you can see in the picture. The crust was really good as well. Perfectly cooked and had a wonderful texture. We only had sodas, so sorry can't talk about the drinks. So I'm saying you need a pizza fix, come on in you won't be disappointed.

I stayed in a condo within walking distance and this restaurant/bar was recommended to me. Great recommendation! Definitely had a bit of a locals atmosphere (though not pretentious, nor unwelcoming), but I also believe there were plenty of people from out of town visiting that had also been introduced to this gem. I feel odd saying that we visited this place all three nights we stayed on Tybee Island. Of course, it was due to it's convenient location in relation to where we stayed, but after going on Night 1, we knew we wanted to come back. On two of our visits, we sat at the outside bar and one of the nights, we had dinner (pizza) at a table inside. All three of our visits included friendly and welcoming service. I like the prices and the overall atmosphere. The pizza was pretty good, as well as the drink selection. It was a fun atmosphere in the early evening, as well as late at night! I would definitely visit again when/if we're on Tybee Island. I would recommend to anyone visiting that area. I'd also highly recommend the attached coffee shop next door during the day!

We dined at Huc A Poos the first night we were in town. They had designated golf cart parking and that was fun. This is a total dive bar which I loved. We ordered a pizza and it was a 6.2 out of 10. I would recommend ordering something else. Our waiter was very cool and friendly and I'm happy we gave this place a try.

Hucapoos is the perfect affordable and quick bite after a long day at the beach, or to take to the beach for a picnic. The pizza is always served fresh and there is tons of variety of toppings. Per tybee's culture, this definitely is not the place if you're looking for a fancy restaurant; but it's always a good time!

The food was super good. They even had great unsweetened brewed tea which is hard to find. My friend had a margarita which she said was the best. Best beach ambiance!!!! Superb service.

I had a chicken wrap. It was eh. I had some of my husbands pizza and that was really good. I should've gotten what he got. Our waitress was kind and attentive. You're going to have to check this place out for its decor and island vibes.

Feels like a local bar! Inside and outside area with a good amount of parking available. We enjoyed the pizza and drinks that are all at great prices. Our kids had fun decorating a dollar bill and hanging it to the wall. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Went here on vacation on recommendation from friends and Yelp and it didn't disappoint. Very cool vibe and friendly staff despite it being packed on a game night. We got a pizza and it was very good with a good load of toppings. The fact that it's $20 for a large with any toppings is a great price! Definitely a place I will return to on future trips.

This is a great must see attraction when visiting the beach. I went with a group of friends and every menu item was a hit from pizzas to subs. There's also a great beer selection. The service was on par too.

Huc-A-Poos has become a family favorite and we come on every Tybee trip! We've taken friends and family here and everyone we've shown falls in love. Everything is so unique and it's truly a dining experience. It's chaotic in the best way, but the food is fantastic. Service is fast. It's great for kids to just be kids. Nobody expects a child to sit still and be on their best behavior here; it's part of the vibe! We can always count on Huc A Poos at the end of our beach day!

Always eat here in Tybee, sometimes multiple times during our stay there. Great pizza as always and the drinks (especially rum punches) are the best!!!!

Quirky vibe & top notch pizza . It would be a fun bar to stay awhile but we had ordered "to -go" Because we had spent the afternoon on north Beach We tried to order the carnivore and accidentally got the Omnivore .... Make sure you are Very Clear if ordering either of these Pies ! Their name sounds similar with a Tybee Island cell service connection LoL . For me the veggies were a bonus for my Pop he picked off the peppers and agreed it was great .

Amazing slice of pizza for a great price! This spot was highly recommended and was definitely worth the stop. The service was very quick and the server was friendly. It's tucked away from the road a bit and has some fun stores surrounding it. Make this a stop for lunch or dinner!

Nice choice of casual foods. Friendly service. Pizza is the favorite - you can create your own, with numerous toppings. I added chicken, black olives, bacon and tomatoes. Family oriented, but young and lively atmosphere. Great affordable prices and good music.

Amazing Vibes! Had a bartender who was also our server...at first I thought he was irritated by me, but he may have been the best customer service rep I had the entire weekend on Tybee. Pizza was amazing, and the price for 3 pies was spot on. Must come to place in Tybee.

Chaotic is an understatement! You walk in & no one acknowledges you. It's seat yourself, & the tables don't really get cleaned off after a party leaves. We got a picnic table with 8 seats for 2 people since it was the only thing available. At this point we are heavily debating stopping at Sonic instead. We asked one waitress next to our table but she said she wasn't our server & we wait awhile longer with fears it's the beach bum who won't stop sitting at tables & talking with the customers. But sure enough it is! He takes our orders & we wait a long while longer, only for the other waitress to bring out our slightly warm clearly forgotten about pizza. I had to go inside to the bar and wait even longer just to get refills of our drinks. The pizza itself, we got the cheeseburger one and I'd be lying if I said it was bad. It was definitely a good pizza & a creative creation. The crust was solid, and the meat was seasoned well. But unfortunately that couldn't salvage the uncleanliness & atrocious service of the restaurant. Turns out our waiter was the owner and he completely forgot about us. To the point we're beyond ready to go & we flag him down & when we asked for the bill his response is -"what bill?" And then admits he is shocked because he thought he closed us out a long while ago. And that he forgot us, so he said to just give him $10 and we'd call it even.

Come here for a laid back and value priced experience. Service is quick and friendly. Food portions are huge. Drinks are cheap. We went for lunch, which was amazing, but I'd bet the evening atmosphere is even better. Nachos are broiled/toasted on a pizza platter and have a ton of toppings. Split them between a couple of folks instead of making it your meal. Before you go, grab another drink for the walk to the nearby shops. Then head back for another of your crew is in for that. Traveller trying new places.

Saturday after the beach was the vibe for me and my friends. Parking lot is small, but we lucked up on a spot. It's the true definition of a dive beach bar. We totaled an order of 4 slices, and they were each a quarter of a BIG pie. Had I known, I would have only ordered one slice. It was pretty good, but nothing special in taste. It served its purpose after a day on the beach. The big pie came out to $20, which is a pretty good price. Overall, decent little dive.

Delicious pizza, so many toppings! The they're very generous with the amount of toppings this is one of my favorite places on Tybee.

Was there 2 days ago with some biker people. Our sever was fantastic kinda looked like Leo skepi. Food was pretty good, nice ambiance outside. Server was alternative and funny

Great vibes at this place - very approachable setup & cool bars both inside & out - prices are great & our pizza ran us $20 - we also ordered a quesadilla which we sent back as it was less than desirable they were slammed & we had to order at the bar as we weren't being served Will come back in the future & give it another try

Now this is what I was hoping for when craving pizza on Tybee. Huckapoos came through with a legit pie--crispy crust, good flavor, and big enough to share. The service was prompt especially with taking the pie to-go. The ambiance was laid-back and quirky, with a funky island dive-bar vibe, dollar bills on the ceiling, and the jukebox rolling out everything from rock to reggae. Pizza + vibes = win

We didn't know what we were pulling into when we first got there. It looks like a little village and the bar was at the back. We sat outside at the bar. The pizza was fast and good. The cider was delicious. The service took a little longer than we are used to, but if we waved the bartender down, we was there in a few minutes. A good beach dive bar.

This location came highly recommended on a group I have been following for Tybee Island. It was our first night in the area after traveling most of the day, so we opted for take out pizza in our condo. When my husband arrived to pick up our order, it took a while for someone to be available since the bar area was so busy. Maybe a takeout station would be helpful. The pizza was decent, not the best I have had, but certainly not the worst. The salad was also just ok-kinda wet from either the lettuce being cleaned or the toppings.

Absolutely loved this place! The pizza was delicious -- hands down one of the best slices I've had in Coastal Georgia. The crust was thin, foldable, and had that perfect chew that makes you want to go back for another slice. The sauce had a garlicky kick that wasn't overpowering but brought everything together. Totally awesome. The vibe at Huc-A-Poos is as laid-back and fun as Tybee Island itself. Great people, cold drinks, and pizza that hits just right. Highly recommend if you're anywhere near the island -- this is a must-stop spot. Interesting place, was constantly busy as we were sitting there. Sometimes hard to grab a seat but luckily a table was opened when we got there. It took a bit for a waitress to visit us. Food was good though, you do have to deal with outside elements when eating which is annoying a bit more could be done about prevention.

Love Huc A Poos! It is a "must stop" when you visit Tybee! The atmosphere is eclectic and food is amazing! Pizza slices are huge and salads are amazing!

Pizza so bad the kids wouldn't even eat it. Toppings pilled up in the middle...bad crust to topping ratio, under cooked, served to you by someone who is in a bad mood and sweat is pouring off of their body. Only 42 dollars for two pizzas and you can have your very own experience.

Solid pizza (and bar food staples) @ reasonable prices in a dive bar setting w extremely friendly service. This business caters to both tourists and locals.

The ambiance is unlike anything you've see . The food was amazing. You'll express real southern hospitality here and the place has a vibe to it. We ordered vegetarian options and like other reviews, one slice was equivalent of almost 2-3 slices from other pizza joints. Loved the spinach wrap as well. Try them out if you are in Savannah or Tybee.

I visited this restaurant while on vacation, so I'm not familiar with the area. I chose it based on the great reviews I read, so I decided to give it a go. I was told to sit wherever I liked, and the menus were already on the table. I naturally went for the pizza. The pizza is one size-- huge -- and for $20.00 you can select all the toppings you like. I went for the pepperoni and ham. When my pie came out, all I could say was .... WOW!!! Absolutely delicious!! The crust has a nice crunch to it, it's not the thick, doughy yeasty crust that leaves you feeling bloated and ready for a nap afterwards. If you're in the area, do yourself a favor and try this place. You won't be disappointed!

Read about this dog friendly restaurant and just had to try on our trip to Tybee. Deck was perfect staff friendly and efficient. Sadie had a grand time getting belly rubs from all (except the wait staff). Had beer and excellent pizza and the tab was $26.00. If you got a puppy give them a try.

I feel like this place could be so great. You can tell it is a local favorite. Very packed, and it's first come first serve, you seat yourself. I've been once at a non-peak time and had a great experience, unfortunately this last time we couldn't get a table. So just consider that before you come. We ended up going to Farace's Finest instead and that place was great!

Great pizza and a super cool restaurant! Right by the beach for a convenient meal while you're out. You may be thinking "how good can pizza get.." but Huc A Poos has all the flavor and no BS. You can tell they use good ingredients. A whole pizza would be enough to fill 3-5people, portions are awesome! The nachos are good choice for apps. Workers are all really nice and friendly! Interesting dynamic by seating yourself but being served by a host. I would definitely come again!

Pros: Pizza is loaded with toppings and prices are good. Cons: Tables are filthy and we waited 20 minutes for a server. Had to go inside to get a bartender to take our order. Fun, hippy spot so if your looking for something different this is it. Fyi, pizza slices are massive and you eat on paper plates.

Oh my gosh!!!! Just go there! It's kinda indescribable in the ambience category, there is something for everybody! Inside seating at a huge horseshoe bar, or cozy corners with low lighting. Cool, relaxed attitude. Some of the BEST PIZZA and Nachos. When we visit Tybee we will definitely be bellied up at that bar!

Fun atmosphere, loud music, great prices. Add a dollar to the wall with your message! Salad was great, pizza very thin if you like that kind of thing.

Cheap beer and pizza can't go wrong with that. Good atmosphere, It does get crowded. It's a nice spot to hit up after being at the beach.

The place is something else!! The outside deck is good size. We had tried to call many times but once we arrived and put in our order we saw that the phone was off the hook!! There were many customers including families. Pizza only took 20 mins and it was enjoyable!

All the pizzas are one size and $20 - so you just decide which one you want. The Beer doesn't have prices. We got screwed on this because we asked if there was a special, the waitress said something to the effect of our prices are cheap. Well - the Tybee Blonde a Kölsch style ale came in at $24 ~ Not really my idea of a great price on a pitcher. The domestic pitchers were $15. She didn't give us a bill, just said it was $44. Not the friendliest of waitresses. I like the atmosphere. Darts and other games, families having fun! Games on lots of TVs. Porch seating or barstools and table inside. Love the pizza - The Team Banana - Banana Peppers, Pepperoni, Mushrooms and Feta - ate half. Last time - they burnt our pizza and made us a new one - no charge. Maybe by the glass is the way to go - I think the waitress just kept a tally of our beers on the coaster.

The food we got here was okay! It wasn't bad and wasn't great. We may have went on an off day and would be willing to try again!
