Our welcome was kind. Our server, Breuanna, was polite, punctual and professional. The interior of the restaurant is smaller than the outside of the building looks. The menu was large, some of the offers that we found online weren't on the menu in store. We've been seeing the signs advertising this restaurant for since before the pandemic. When we saw that they were finally open, we decided to check it out. The prices are a bit high but not bad. The service is good and the people are friendly.
I ordered the smokehouse breakfast, three eggs and three meats. I requested my eggs over easy. When the meal arrived my eggs were over hard. The manager took the eggs back to the cook in a separate plate to have my over easy eggs made. When Breuanna brought back my eggs, there were only two on the plate. Because my hash browns and meat were getting cold I didn't ask for the third egg.
I asked that the hash browns not be super crispy. What I got were hash browns that were crisp on the top but greasy and limp underneath.
My husband's omelette was a fried egg with the ingredients on top of a piece of unmelted American cheese and then folded over. It more like an egg taco.
The coffee was fresh and the biscuit was hot and delicious.
Ite been almost a month and my husband and I decided to visit again. On this visit, I ordered the double cheeseburger. It has to be the second smallest double cheeseburger in the country behind white castle. My husband ordered the patty melt. The food preparation isn't consistent nor does the food come as advertised. The patty melt was supposed to have pickles and have mayonnaise, according to the menu but he received no pickles or mayonnaise. The fruit cup I ordered was mostly apples, one grape and a couple chunks of honeydew.
I want to like this place because the service is great and the food is cooked well but it's difficult. It would be nice if the food was consistently prepared.
