"Huddle’s soft serve window opened for the season on March 1 and is perfect for a stroll down Parker’s Alley. Choose a flavor from chocolate, vanilla, or twists with toppings of sprinkles, sea salt, chocolate chips, and cherry or chocolate dips. If you’re around the West Village area, you can get your Huddle fix from a walk-up window. Grab a cone of soft serve along with a cocktail, or enjoy the best of both with a hummer — the boozy Detroit original made here with Hawaiian rums and Huddle vanilla custard." - Will Reaume

"Huddle’s soft serve window is open just a short skip from Parker Alley downtown for chocolate, vanilla or twists with toppings of sprinkles, sea salt, chocolate chips, and cherry or chocolate dips. Or, in West Village, Huddle is also available at Two Birds bar at 8130 Kercheval, where guests can order from a window for cones, as well as floats made with root beer, Coke, Vernor’s, or Faygo Rock n’ Rye." - Courtney Burk

"A dessert-focused stand specializing in soft serve, perfect for a sweet stop while wandering the alley and nearby entertainment spots." - Serena Maria Daniels

"A West Village soft-serve shop that collaborated on ube-flavored soft-serve for pop-ups; the ube offering proved highly popular, drawing customers who drove over an hour to try it and demonstrating local demand for Filipino-inspired frozen treats." - Serena Maria Daniels

"Serving swirly ice cream cones with colorful sprinkles, the downtown Detroit walk-up window has been a wonderful departure from the strangeness of 2020, but now that the weather is getting colder I learned it will trade frozen treats for hot broth beginning Sunday, November 1. The broth—prepared in collaboration with Southwest Detroit’s Johnny Noodle King—will be offered through the end of February 2021 in three varieties (pork, chicken, and vegetarian) in 12-ounce cups with a choice of mix-ins such as burnt garlic miso and smoked butter; each cup is priced at $6 and available daily from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Huddle will also continue to sell pints of soft serve to-go." - Brenna Houck
