It was my first visit to the Hudson Grille. I sat at the bar and Liz and Raven were the tag team tonight. They were very friendly and attentive! I ordered the Porterhouse steak with garlic spinach and steamed broccoli. My meal was delicious! Thanks for a great dining experience!

Exceeded my expectations while visiting in a business lunch. The avocado mango salad was fabulous. Very fresh ingredients, well balanced and carefully made. Loved the grilled shrimp as well. The service was just a bit slow. Nice atmosphere. I just gave it a 4 since I’m not into restaurants with TVs but well, this is Hudson Grille! I would go back for a business lunch for sure.

Did not like the food much. Maybe we shouldn’t have tried steak. It was like a Waffle House steak. It was one of those just eat it deals cause sending it back won’t make it no better. Nor was I interested in trying something else. I took maybe two bites of the garlic spinach and left the rest. No refills on drinks (at least that’s what she said about lemonade). The fries were the most decent part and they weren’t even great. It wasn’t crowded at all, still took about 5-10 minutes to even get noticed for seating. Once seated the server was relatively nice. Cash or chip card only. Pay attention to automatic tip percentage postings. Highly doubt we will be back but it seems like they are very slow on business anyway.

I am visiting from a different state as I plan on moving to the area in a couple of months. So I am not sure if this is just a one off. But I ordered the Steak & Shrimp asked for a medium rare. The steak I received( picture) was obviously no where close to that. It was very rubbery and completely grey. The waiter gave what seemed like a half hearted apology that felt a lot closer to a “ better luck next time”. I am not someone who would normally leave a review, but very frustrating to pay basically 30$ to end up eating only fries.

I brought my brothers to Hudson Grille for Father’s Day. Before we were sat there was a notice that said %20 will be added to all checks over $100. It started off as a nice experience. Alannah /Alamah our server told us Fathers Eat free this day but that wasn’t true. I ordered a margarita and it came with soda in it. Literally taste like a flavored sprite my brothers old fashioned had so much bitters in it the taste wouldn’t come out our mouth. We all ordered steak with sides The jambalaya taste like tomato paste and rice. There were no shrimp chicken or sausage in the jambalaya at all. The Mac n cheese was ok . The steak was really white looking on the outside but we tried them anyway. So when asking for our checks the checks were mixed up so the server collected each check had the manager modify them to add 20% gratuity to each check. None of our food was over $100. When I spoke the manager he said the server told him to add the 20% percent bc she felt as if we were not going to tip her. This caused a lil spat between the manager and I because there were no checks over $100 at the table.The server didn’t bring us straws we got our food and had to wait 5 minutes for silverware but still wanted to enjoy our time together n eat.we couldn’t eat the pics are what we left and still payed for everything I will Never Go Back Here Again

I know I ordered my food with the kitchen 6 mins to close but I would’ve preferred to been told the kitchen is closed. The sausage was cooked to the tenderness of beef jerky. The chicken was bland and barely cooked. The rice reminded me of Uncle Ben’s jambalaya. Highly disappointed. After speaking with the manager, he advised that he would issue a refund and speak with the chef who made the order. I appreciate the timely response and quick solution.

My husband and I are visiting the Atlanta area for our 1st time ever (We live in South Dakota) We were looking for a good burger and salad. We found the Hudson Grille and decided to check it out. We were greeted by Kia, the hostess. She seated us and told us our server would be by shortly. We waited for 10 minutes and Noone came by or acknowledged us. I only saw 2 or 3 other tables in the restaurant. A server did come our way but then walked right past without looking at us or saying anything. We decided to wait 5 more minutes. Still Noone, so we decided to leave. As we were walking to our car, Kia(the hostess)ran outside apologized and asked us to please come back in. She said she would personally take care of us. We followed her back in and as she had said, she took extremely good care of us. The food was amazing!! So delicious and Kia was so extremely kind and attentive. Because of how good her customer service was and how good the food tasted, we would definitely come back! Its all about communication and customer service! Thank you for taking the time to turn a negative experience into an amazing one!

I recently visited Hudson Grille and had a mixed experience, marked by excellent service and atmosphere, but let down by the main course. The restaurant has a wonderful, laid-back and comfortable atmosphere, perfect for a casual evening out. Our server was absolutely fantastic—very prompt, attentive, and professional throughout our entire visit. The service here is a definite highlight. For our main courses, we ordered a Ribeye and a Sirloin with Shrimp. This is where the meal unfortunately missed the mark. We both requested our steaks to be cooked medium-rare, but both the ribeye and the sirloin were delivered cooked beyond that, closer to medium or medium-well. Beyond the overcooking, the steaks were also noticeably under-seasoned. For cuts of this quality, I expected the kitchen to nail the basic fundamentals of seasoning and temperature, which didn't happen. The shrimp accompanying the sirloin was fine, but couldn't make up for the poorly executed steak. Hudson Grille offers a great place to hang out thanks to its excellent atmosphere and truly superb service. However, based on our experience, I would not recommend ordering the steak. I would happily return for a drink and to try some of the appetizers or classic pub fare (like a burger), but they need to improve their steak preparation significantly to justify the price and the menu offering.
