Can I just say that this place is so amazing and makes you feel like you are in another century somewhere near Savanah, GA. It takes you back in time with a beautiful southern/nautical flare that makes you feel like you will run into the cities most up and up. The only thing that could've made the vibe more real was a live jazz band.
The flower arrangements and vases were breathtaking and I love, love, love, how uniform the them is throughout with the blue and white variations.
The staff from beginning to end were impeccable! The professionalism, the crispness of the uniforms, just wow!
We went for happy hour to indulge in their famous cheeseburger for $10, and the discounted selected cocktails. I opted for the French 75 and it was delicious! Strong, subtle, cold, perfect. I ordered the French Chicken which is served with a beautiful silky sauce, French fries, and a peppery arugula salad. The chicken is so succulent and juicy, chef's kiss! To finish it off, we ended with the key lime pie which was insanely delicious! Again, masterfully balanced sweet and tart, and the homemade cream on top needs to be for sale!! If it wasn't so rude and inappropriate I would've licked the plate! I will not ever set foot in Dallas again without making Hudson House one of my stops!
***Only downside, at this location, the parking is a bit of a nightmare. ALSO, they don't take cash, so make sure if you want to tip by cash you have your bills sorted because they can't break any bills for you.
