Ok, so while this is a "chain", it sure doesn't feel like one when you come in. This particular one I've decided to call my Oyster home, is run fantastically. While the lady doesn't like to sit at the bar, I sure do, because not only is the service wicked good, it's fast, friendly and you can see the magic behind the bar as they consistently rip out martini, cocktail and wine with speed and precision. It is a bit loud, but that is due to popularity. The din is one of utter enjoyment by the patrons. The raw bar is ridiculously good. Just tonite, I had 6 different, pristine oyster varietals, with the accoutrements you would expect. The best part, they are only desired sparingly. The different textures, brininess and liquor flavors are intoxicating. I can't help but have at least 2 dozen, while not cheap, it is worth the experience. While I've only had the oysters and martini's, the lady said the chicken parm is darn good. I cannot recommend enough. This raw bar is right up there with places I've been in NY, Baltimore and Charleston. You will not be disappointed. It gets darn busy, so I'd suggest reservations. We've just free-wheeled it and managed a spot at the bar (my favorite so lucky me). Make sure to speak up, but it's well worth it. Bring your big card, these oysters aren't cheap, but they're worth it.
