When I warned them that the book wicked shouldn’t be in the children section they called me crazy when they thought I was out of ear shot. I’m sorry but I think it’s crazy to sell a book where a man gets raped by a sentient tigger next to a freaking Bluey coloring book. I understand that the movie and musical are PG. but that doesn’t mean the book is. Just google it for haven sakes! I’m not some hyper religious psycho! It isn’t a children’s book, it’s isn’t a YA. And even if I was why are you insulting me when I can hear you! I was there buying things, I’m a costumer.

Bought a pair of non working $33 headphones and even though the return policy said they can be returned within 60 days if defective, the woman who worked the counter couldn’t refund me because she didn’t have a manager. In fact, she showed no empathy. Just impatience and inconvenience. Who doesn’t love to throw $33 down the drain 😁 Crazy. There should always be a manager on duty at a store to help with authorization. I’d like for a manager to reach out to me and make this right. What would you do?

Google
Nice selection, but over 12 bucks for a bag of m&ms is wild. The self checkout lanes are terrible. Scanners don't work or don't recognize bar codes, counterproductive if you ask me since a person had to keep coming over to help people.

Jamie jones

Google
Unbelievable prices for items, this is why they don’t display prices on items $30.00 1 small bag m&ms and a little chocolate bar. Staff are rude don’t have a clue how to deal with cash have an attitude problem, sack the lot off them. Pointless

The male employee greeting customer had such great energy his voice amplifying throughout the store. Making customer feeling welcomed in every way. Thanking them for doing business with Hudson. His co worker working the register not as much. She seem angry at the world not engaging or greeting customers or making eye contact with customers. Hopefully she will feed off of him.

Dayna

Google
They get a three because they have a nice selection. However the employees are lacking in friendliness. With my flight delay I've been here twice now. I was standing at a register, no employee in sight, then one came up and just stood at a different register and didn't say anything. Can't wait to leave Orlando!

Google
Great place to grab some convenience foods before the flight. Staff were very helpful.

Google
I shop here more than anywhere at the airport. Great place for drinks snacks and souvenirs. Reasonably priced. Great last minute stop.

Yelp
Before I begin let me start off by saying that this review is based solely upon my personal experiences and my personal experiences alone, so with that being said let's go!!.. This is a store conveniently located across the walkway from the food court at MCO, probably better known as Orlando International AirPort!. They have all the basic necessities you would find in a convenient store just like a 7-11 or Wawa!. So I would definitely recommend stopping there in between your flights!,

John M.

Yelp
This particular Hudson News was only offering self checkout. Still, I wanted a book to read on my flight and I found a decent enough one. Hey, it's the airport, so don't expect any kind of value or good prices. The staff here was friendly enough, but nothing outstanding. I will give it four stars though only because my expectations aren't that high at the airport.

Apple S.

Yelp
They don't displays the prices of the beverages so if I can't decide I scan them all then pick the cheapest one. An employee had an issue with it so I explained and he argued the prices were displayed so I said ok show me. Guess what.... lol ok sir

Tammy K.

Yelp
If i could give zero stars i would! Went there to get a bottle of water before flight .My daughter was behind me in line .The customer service Associate did a little song-and-dance.After i left ,my daughter heard him say to other Sales associate talking about my weight, And it wasn't anything nice. I was taking flight to go see my brother who was dying from cancer so that just added extra pain to my trip If you're working in customer service you need to be professional and keep your thoughts like that to yourself. Very unprofessional On that note I'd rather drink tap water out of the bathroom sink in the airport than go into that store ever again!!!!!!!

Carmen G.

Yelp
Prices are up the roof. i went to grab one of my favorite snacks I will usually buy at the airport and to my surprise the pricing was as much as 18.99 for a bag of peanuts. Ridiculous. Price bulging to the extreme

Linda W.

Yelp
I only wanted a bag of plain potato chips. But none were to be found. There are no prices listed for anything in the store. A small bag of stale salted peanuts were $7.00. Everything is self-service & the workers only stock the shelves with no clue what the prices are. Very disappointing.

Tia M.

Yelp
Only good thing is self check out line... rude and ignore you but hey!, I paid 12 dollars for a sandwich

Joe S.

Yelp
If you fly and are in need of some snacks or drinks to take on a plane because the 4 ounces of soda pop and .081 ounces of snack mix doesn't satiate your hunger, then a stop at the Hudson News is almost a must. Are the prices high? Yep, you're at a touristy airport, so that's to be expected. They have all kinds of candy, soda pop, water, chips, nuts, and other snack style items that you may need for your flight. They also have some gifts if you're leaving town and are looking for that last minute Mouse-Themed item or rum cake. It also has reading material (books and mags) and a mini drug store display for pain pills and other items you may need for your trip. If you need something for your flight, it's worth a luck to check here. Their inventory is diverse and geared towards tourist travelers.

Laura G.

Yelp
Ok selection but terribly high price for a 4 oz. nut mix. $7.50!! Price gouging Why do these places do this? Pure greed? Who sets the prices?

Laura G.

Yelp
It's no secret that I love Hudson News and this is a very nice one. It's loaded with all of the basics needs or wants while traveling. They are stocked with travel supplies, reading material, souvenirs, t-shirts, boxed chocolates, gifts and more. The staff is friendly and helpful. They worked together to assist with the long line of travelers. The store was clean, fully stocked and organized. After poking around the store I bought a new tervis cup, waters, chocolates and an airplane toy for my grandson. I probably would have purchased more but my plane was getting ready to board so I cut myself off.

Frank D.

Yelp
Overpriced, the displays were set up in such a way that any small miscalculation would cause a domino effect of breakable items falling over. This happened to me and I was able to prevent anything from breaking as the staff on hand stood and watched offering no help. After figuring out she couldn't chastise me without my pointing out the faults in the display she put the items right back like they were continuing to tell me how I could have prevented the happening. They can do better for what they are charging!

Debbie S.

Yelp
Stand alone kiosk at Gate 54 and Gate 55 in terminal B. Think wall of books and magazines and a small assortment of snacks and phone chargers. Limited selection compared to a full-size Hudson News. The Camden Food Co at Gate 57 had a larger selection of food. But what this Hudson News offers is Antonio. A colorful, lively employee that engages every customer with a friendly, playful, and positive attitude.

Charles K.

Yelp
This place is a joke! They way overcharge, even for an airport. God forbid you need change back...they're staff are either too lazy or management is too stupid to figure out how to give change back on cash. Seriously, I can't wait to see this place go out of business. Keep up the good work Hudson!!

Ulrich L.

Yelp
Worst / rude cashier! no pricing for complete merchandise, since they add 500 % markup to gummy bears. Be prepared to pay over $11 for 2 packs! Don't support this airport robbery!

Stephanie S.

Yelp
Purchased a $120 portable battery that claimed it was pre-charged and could charge more than one item at the same time. Well... It only had a USB port not a USB-C so ai couldn't charge both my ipad and my phone at the same time. Went back to the store to refund, not even 20 minutes later and Jeanette, the cashier, was extremely rude and condenscending. Demanded that I "Prove to her" that the product did not work with my items. The store manager, Carlos, was of zero help as well. Look, I know $120 is excessive for a battery but if you're going to charge that, at least provide exceptional service. Scammers that don't stick to the HudsonNews policy. Go elsewhere, don't come here.

Mischita H.

Yelp
This is about as good as it gets for last minute snags before boarding your plane. Expect the typical high airport prices but they have most of what you may be looking for - snacks, drinks, t-shirts, souvenirs, magazines, etc. The general exceptions include items like travel bags, actual food and brewed coffee. Service is neither horrible nor superb and it is very easy to locate.

Neal E.

Yelp
This Hudson News location is in the Airside 3 Hub (post security) of Orlando International Airport. It's a pretty large Hudson News location - chock full of snacks, beverages, toiletries, books, magazines, newspapers, tourist knick-knacks, and more! I picked up some bottled water here before boarding my flight to Dulles.

Natalie K.

Yelp
Stopped in for a small water and a neck pillow, left $25 lighter. I didn't see a price on either and didn't have time to ask or care. I guess I should have known this place was crazy overpriced when I overheard a couple walking out complaining about drinks being cheaper at the movie theater. The cashier wasn't very helpful either.

Diane C.

Yelp
Since our flight was delayed due to the storm, I had some time to kill. Ended up walking in to get a magazine but since there was a huge variety of things, decided to look around a bit more. Although I had my hands full, no one tried to help. There were bunch of employees through the store that were busy chit chatting about their sex lives and weekend plans rather than making an attempt to help. The store has a huge variety of things. The only person that seemed to be actually working was the older lady behind the counter. One other thing that was irritating...They sell many things of different sizes. Yet they didn't have a large plastic bag to put my things. I had to squeeze things into bunch of small bags to carry. For a store that looked good upon entry, it was a nightmare upon exiting. When I'm back at this airport, I will not be shopping here again.

Louie M.

Yelp
Purchased a book before a flight in Orlando and left my receipt on the counter. Five minutes later, I went back to return the book and asked the associate to check for my receipt on the counter. Without even breaking eye contact she says no you need your receipt. I knew I needed my receipt, it was there on the counter. She didn't even bother to look down. She know how to put the ass in Associate. She was very rude and old. Stereotypical crabby old lady.

John C.

Yelp
Classic Hudson News. A smattering of magazines, snacks and small gifts to buy for the trip home. Service was fine and pleasant. Not a long line to deal with so everything moved fast. Prices are higher that out side TSA but that is what you get.

Belle D.

Yelp
Well.. They have your essential medicines, travel needs, reading materials for the most part, and snacks galore. This location here in Orlando was not bad. The only down fall is that it is outside the security checkpoint. The staff members were kind enough to remind the customers to make sure that we finsh our drink or if we were going to the security checkpoint anytime soon. That way, we would not have to waste our money on a bottle of water. Thanks guys! Therefore I give you 4 stars. Even though it would have been better if the shop was inside and past the security checkpoint.

Breanna C.

Yelp
Went here before my flight home and tried to purchase two shirts that were part of the same 2/$30 deal or $16.99 each. Went to the counter and was told the shirts have to be the same color...why would I want two of the same color? I've been thru plenty of airports since I travel a lot for work and this has never been an issue before at any other Hudson News locations. The shirts were the exact same design but different colors. No where on the tags did it say they had to be the same color. I decided to go to another store and didn't have any problems. Guess Hudson News doesn't mind missing out on money but maybe they should put up a sign if they really want to try and enforce that.

Jennifer B.

Yelp
I'm not sure if this is more of an airport problem or what, but this place charged $13 for two water bottles, a chocolate bar and a mini pack of twizzlers. It was well stocked with the the airport essentials like airplane pillows, ear buds, magazines, and some of the usual popular books. I think I would be less upset about the cost of my snacks if the water was at least chilled when I bought it.

Ethan T.

Yelp
Very Friendly Associates

Kevin M.

Yelp
Three stars is for the customer service! The lady I dealt with was very friendly and made very light, casual conversation with me that made my trip a little easier! The only reason I'm not giving more stars is the prices! It's bad enough our pockets have been raped by every amusement park in Orlando but it sucks the airport has to gouge you as well! All I wanted was a vitamin water for the plane ride and back him I pay may 1.50-2.00 for a small dragon fruit vitamin water.... At the airport I paid 4.80. That's just ridiculous and unnecessary! Everyone know what they cost! So why does the airport need to make a 3.50+ profit off of one beverage? You have hundreds of thousands of people a day going through those doors! Those high prices are extremely unnecessary and should be considered robbery!

Rich P.

Yelp
Hudson News, obviously started in New York, has now expanded into all of these airports all of the country. Pretty amazing since I really feel like the news stand is kind of a dinosaur, and soon to be obsolete. Anyway, they have a lot of magazines here, so I'm glad they're around.

Andrew H.

Yelp
Good selection of magazines, snacks and drinks - you'll need all of those to keep yourself from going crazy once you board you're flight.

Roger R.

Yelp
Saw a Disney character T-shirt at the park that I really wanted but no store at Disney World had it. Leaving to return home much to my surprise I found THE shirt at Hudson News and it was even a "Disney" shirt. Thanks Hudson News. "I'm Grumpy, Don't make it worse", and you didn't!
