The 14 Best Bars In Baltimore - Baltimore - The Infatuation

"The Fells Point/Canton area has a near-endless variety of places to go out—you might find yourself at a frat party, grizzled dive, or dark cocktail bar. Hudson Street Stack House is a crowd-pleasing option that has an interior like a sports bar with brick walls, bumper stickers everywhere, and lighting that lets you read a menu without straining your eyes. The bartenders are friendly, and there’s plenty of room to spread out with a group. The bar food menu has sizable wings dripping with buffalo sauce and perfectly greasy shoestring fries, along with Maryland favorites like mussels sautéed in beer and garlicky herbs or crab pretzels. And its beer list stands out for a wide selection of hard-to-find drafts, like a Belgian sour and “chicken and waffles” stout. You can easily spend all evening here, but it also makes a great first stop on a bar crawl—head from here to The Dive for pizzas, and end the night at Walt’s Inn (Maryland’s oldest karaoke bar), or party at one of the many pubs around “Canton Square” (a.k.a. O’Donnell Square Park)." - michele berry

Google
Really enjoyed grabbing lunch here. Good burger and drink deal for happy hour. Great atmosphere too! Would definitely recommend.

Belgian beer. Belgian beer! Belgian beer!! Seriously. I’ve lived here in Baltimore for 20 years and never knew they had great Belgians on draft here. No one has ever mentioned it, but it should be known. Food was above average. Atmosphere is a bit loud and the staff is unfriendly. But great Belgian beers on draft.

The menu offers plenty of great choices at unbeatable prices. They offer seating for little ones and put on hockey willingly. We will definitely be back!

Google
Great beer list and bar bites. The angry chicken tenders are spicy and great. Can’t go wrong with any of the flatbreads

Google
The steak sandwich was amazing and the rest of the food was great too and not overpriced. Welcoming environment and friendly staff.

Google
Awesome food, awesome beer selection, awesome staff! Hands down the best buffalo chicken wrap in Baltimore! Love this place!

Google
Amazing beer list and very good food. Generous portions at reasonable prices. You order at the bar and then they bring food to you. We had a wonderful time - there were 7 of us and we all enjoyed our meals. Ceasar salad is delicious; sampled several apps - green beans/fried pickles/wontons all were good and members of our group had chicken ceasar wrap which looked great and also the chicken parm sandwich. Fries are excellent! Also VERY good beer selection on draft and bartenders very knowledgeable

Google
This bar was good overall. The food was great, especially the fries. I didn’t like the crush and it was very inconsistent between servings (my friend’s tasted different than mine even though we got the same flavor). It’s cute to walk around nearby at night and wasn’t crazy busy.

Yelp
Cruising through Baltimore, had to stop for a local neighborhood style Burger A great neighborhood atmosphere & ambience located conveniently off the square in Canton. The burgers were amazing, the service was solid and we had an awesome time.

Yelp
Horrible service. Food came out wrong multiple times and just looked bad Waited an hour for said bad food No compensation or free drinks or anything offered Will NEVER come back here

Yelp
We were a group of 8 looking for a spot for dinner and came across Hudson street stackhouse. We were seated right away and put our order in around 15 minutes later. It took an hour for our food to arrive, and I realize we were a larger group but no one ordered anything complicated or modified from the menu. I ordered the fingers on fire which were 4 large chicken tenders covered in hot sauce. The tenders were really good and the sauce on them was nice and spicy. Their ranch was good with it as well.

Yelp
Came to Stackhouse because I know they always play hockey games and was very happy with my experience here. The service was quick and the bartenders were happy to offer suggestions. The food was classic bar food with solid flavor. Great place for hockey fans to gather and chill for games! Highly recommend.

Yelp
My friend and I came here for happy hour on a Thursday. This was my first time here and I really liked it! The outside is beautiful and inside is a cozy, divey bar with lots of wooden accents and beer brand decor. The happy hour deals are great, and the actual happy hour is longer than usual from 3pm-7pm, when most around town end at 6pm. The menu is big and they have lots of options for beer on draft, appetizers, pizza, burgers, and more. I opted for Untitled Art's non-alcoholic beer and it was delicious. My friend and I also split the combo platter, which has two chicken tenders, a bunch of onion rings, and plenty of fries to split. The bartender was also our server and he was super friendly and attentive. I saw a few people complaining about ordering through the bar instead of getting table side service, but we didn't have any issues and the process was easy. I'm only giving this four stars because I didn't eat enough to get the full experience of entrees. I'll be back to try a flatbread pizza and burger, and hope to update soon!

Yelp
Great food at affordable prices. Atmosphere was chill on a Saturday afternoon. They have high chairs and boosters for kids. Hockey and baseball on the tv and great music on in the background. Service was on spot. Will def be back!

Yelp
Hudson Street was recommended to me as a place to get good beer and food after bocce in Patterson Park. So I went, and the recommendation was half true - the beer selection was official. Unfortunately, that's all Hudson Street had going for it. Despite looking pretty classy outside, it was divey inside. The bartender told us we had to order all our food directly from the bar (we were sitting at a high top table in the bar area) but some other folks seated near us were able to order from their table. They also got their food before my friend and I thought we'd ordered before them. The bartender was also not particularly friendly...I'd actually call him a d*ck, if I'm being honest. Anyway, I ordered the Abbaye de Saint Bon-Chien beer and wings. I specifically asked for the wings to be fried hard. So the beer was poured and it was delicious, thanks to whomever picked that. The wings though...not fried hard, seemingly barely fried at all. Then add the buffalo sauce and the wings were slimy AF. I was hungry and tried eating as much as I could, but a lot of meat was left on the bones, and some pieces I didn't even attempt. Between bad service and bad food, some good beers aren't enough. Will not be returning, but hope to find that Abbaye beer elsewhere.

Yelp
I had so much fun at Stackhouse tonight. They have dozens of beers on tap, and the menu actually describes them all, so you know what you're ordering. If you have any questions the bartenders are very knowledgeable. They suggested a sour beer I never would have tried that tasted like a lemon icee pop. Also highly recommend the soft pretzel appetizer. It comes with regular mustard and also a very spicy aioli.

Logan G.

Yelp
Flat beer. Flat soda. Burger tasted like it was cooked on a grill that had never been cleaned. The bartenders probably know there's an issue with their kegs or carbonators but pushed me to get a draught beer instead of a canned one. Super crowded, full of regulars, but I don't understand why someone would subject themselves to this place on a regular basis.

Yelp
Best beer bar in Baltimore. Prices, especially at happy hour, are some of the best you will find for the quality of food and beer you're getting. Great beer selection, vibes, and bar food. Service always friendly. My go to foods are the chicken Caesar and buffalo chicken wraps. Fries that come with are great too.

Teresa C.

Yelp
Found this place randomly while looking for something to eat. Thought I'd give it a try, and it was definitely a fantastic choice! I got the blackened mahi mahi sandwich and fries, and it was delicious! The price was incredible, and definitely on top of the list of best things I've ever eaten.

Yelp
Came in on a cold Saturday night because the original bar down the street decided to do last call early since it was a slow day for them. This place has a nice kitschy-vibe to it. The staff were very welcoming and were very kind in reminding us to place our orders ASAP as their kitchen was also about to close in a few minutes. I ordered a Bacon and Cheddar Burger per our servers recommendation and it did not disappoint. The burger was cooked to perfection. I added some BBQ sauce and DEVOURED that burger. $13 for a good burger and fries just really are not found anymore. I also was able to get a Shirley Temple for only $2 (decided against a Dirty Shirley just because I was starting to feel a little under the weather)! Honestly this place was pretty great. Don't know if I would be recommending this as one of the first places I would go, but would definitely come back if I'm in the neighborhood and wanted a solid burger.

Yelp
Tried for the first time this weekend - great bar food, beer selection, and service at reasonable prices. Ordered the Chicken Chesapeake sandwich - came with a very generous portion of very good french fries - chicken breast was well seasoned and charred nicely, and crab dip/cheese topping made it a winner! Options for draft Belgian beer, along with many local favorites, was impressive. Will come again! Bonus was having my favorite bubble hockey game in the back of the bar.

Yelp
Would recommend for their beers and food bar food. Very unassuming place you wouldn't expect the quality of food but everything here is really good: the crab pizza, hot wings are legit hot and crispy, crab pretzel is really good. Would highly recommend for watching a football game or casual weekend lunch

Yelp
Had a really nice time here. Definitely a neighborhood watering-hole vibe. Lots of great beer selection on tap, apparently is owned by the same person who owns Max's and is used as a "test kitchen" of sorts for brews over there. If you like beer, definitely worth a stop in.

Yelp
Cool spot in Baltimore. Solid bar food. We had a burger and spicy chicken tenders. Both were tasty! Great beer selection also. We will definitely be back for a hockey game.

Yelp
Decided to try a new place . Basically came in and sat at a table and that's about it.The service was non existent .We walked out and I'm sure they didn't notice .I would like to say it was crowded but nope .

Yelp
Great service. Amazing burgers. Top 3 best fries in baltimore - and I've had them all!! such a chill vibe with great beer options and great apps!! can't go wrong with stack house.

Yelp
Awesome place to hang out for a good time. Food is great and service it top notch. You won't be disappointed.

Yelp
Great food. Fantastic beer. 2nd best bartenders. This neighborhood bar has such a great vibe and is the best hockey bar in the city, bar none. If you're looking for some good chow paired with some amazing beer all served to you by some of my favorite bartenders in the city, get here.

Yelp
Stopped in for a drink and decided to order burgers to go. They were dry, bland, and the buns had clearly been refrigerated and reheated. We may stop by for drinks again but definitely won't be eating there.

Yelp
One of our neighborhood go to's, the Stackhouse (as the locals will refer to it) is a solid choice for hockey fans. They have several TVs, tuned to hockey whenever it is available. They have a mighty selection of local and other craft beers, and they don't randomly close early like some other bars in the area. I absolutely love this place. Would give it 4.5 stars if half stars were an option. My only hesitation on 5 stars is that the pub food is a little lackluster. That said, I did experience the one-of-a-kind buffalo calamari so that was kinda cool. Don't head here expecting a super awesome Canton dining experience (there's plenty of those around). But do head here for fantastic atmosphere, good staff and clientele, good beer, and good hockey. And if you get peckish while you're drinking at least the food is decent.
google avatar

Maura C.

Yelp
I really like Stackhouse! The food is pretty good, especially considering it's your typical bar fare. The atmosphere is nice and it even has areas for large groups of people which is nice if you have a lot of friends hanging out for dinner. There's TVs to watch sports and a very extensive list of beers! You can always expect to try something different. I always get the buffalo chicken wrap and it's huge and delicious. All the portions here are pretty large and on most nights they have specials!

Yelp
On a recent trip to Baltimore for Baltimore Beer Week our homebrew club decided to stop here. They had Mad Elf on special so the 9 of us decided to stop for a couple pints. I had a Pumking which was served in a goblet. The place seemed ok until one in our party ordered an Octoberfest and only minutes later someone came to our table to mention a free Harpoon glass promotion for the very same beer she was having. She asked if her beer counted and was told no since it was ordered before the start of the promotion. Not only that but her Harpoon Octoberfest was $1.50 more than the three of us who ordered later? Another issue was the bill did not have an added gratuity, but when someone ordered a California wine they were charged for a pricier imported wine and it seemed to be a bother to the waiter who was getting dones with his shift. I don't understand why there was no explanation for these things, just 'that's the way it is' kind of responses. They did not seem to care because we were a large group coming in around happy hour which seems kind of poor to me.
google avatar

Mac C.

Yelp
The burgers here are on point. And the bartenders and waiters here are really fun and friendly. I will say that the atmosphere does tend to get loud at night and the seating does get a little cramped when crowded. Overall I do enjoy coming here and will come back often.

Yelp
great neighborhood bar, we went for happy hour on Sunday, 4/25 - the woman who worked the bar was also serving the tables, making drinks for everyone and running the food from the kitchen, what a great job she did!! The food was great, drinks were great, if you haven't been drop on by!!

Yelp
I had heard that the burgers were good at Hudson St Stackhouse. I am happy to confirm that this is a TRUE FACT. The burgers are some of the best tasting on excellent buns, that I know of in the Baltimore area---and for the price, an excellent value. The teriyaki wings came out as soy sauce salty wings---no resemblance to teriyaki at all and way too salty, even for a salt aficionado like myself . I liked the fries that came with the burger---but my buddy said it was too dark and crisp for his liking. The beer I ordered was awesome...Allagash *something or other*. Side salad was "meh". They have happy hour specials on their beer. (2) Beers Order of wings (2) Burgers Side Salad $38 All in all, great food, great bar, great prices, nice location!

Yelp
I love Hudson Stackhouses beer selection! They have such great diverse selection of beers on tap at all times! You can even get a growler filled if you want of on tap beer! Awesome! It gets busy often. I didn't give 5 stars because the service from the bartenders can be iffy. Overall a great establishment and you can't go wrong with anything on the menu!

Yelp
This is only the second bar (in many cities, small and large, domestic and foreign) that may make a beer drinker out of me yet. I came here on a Friday night for a rehearsal dinner after-party, and it wasn't too crowded. Service was very friendly, and I don't think this was just because some people in my party were regulars--when a few of us out-of-towners grabbed a table at the end (where it may have seemed ambiguous as to whether we were part of the the large party or our own private island), we were promptly greeted and provided with menus by the bartender. I first skimmed the extensive menu of very reasonably priced beers by the bottle and on draft and was about to gravitate towards the familiar Crispin cider. However, I'm glad I took the time to read the menu more closely and stumble upon an intriguing entry: Death by Coconut--an Irish porter made by Oskar Blues in Longmont, CO in collaboration with Shamrock Brewing, described as: "Intense fresh cacao flavors swirl with popping coconut aromas, all supported by a semi-sweet porter made from loads of dark chocolate and extra dark caramel malt." I appreciated that the menu offered sample sizes of all its drinks and decided to elect this option (this one was only $2.50 and was a pretty generous pour--it filled a standard rocks glass). This beer lived up to its description and served as the perfect dessert drink--as compared to other chocolate stouts, it was closer to a chocolate ice cream soda (my strong preference) than to a Guinness--and the coconut brought an extra smoothness and richness, in addition to the aforementioned aromas. I found the sample filling enough that I didn't need a second, let alone a full pint. #lightweight #cheapdate

Yelp
I'm obsessed with this place. Awesome craft beer list and their bar food is phenomenal. Simple food done right. I've had almost everything on the menu and have never been disappointed. Seafood night crab cake dinner is the bomb and the buffalo chicken wrap is the best I've ever had. Jalapeno burger is also another favorite. Great place. Only downside is that it is small so it does get crowded but its amazing.

Yelp
I stopped in on a Fall Saturday to watch a college football game solo. It was a perfectly fine, small neighborhood type bar with a former employee and a friend keeping the bar tender company and a few other folks in the bar. All staff I interacted with were friendly, welcoming, and engaging. I chose this place because I'd heard they had a good beer selection and that came through. Lots of great beers and ciders from all over but not too overwhelming. I had three different beers while we all watched the game and all were pretty good. Only reason why it's not 4 stars is b/c the food was just OK. I got old bag wings and fries. The wings didn't have much seasoning and the fries were kind of overdone and also under seasoned. The burger and other items I saw coming out looked better so I could have just had bad luck. Will visit again for sure.

Yelp
This place is awesome. My boyfriend and I came here on a Monday night looking for a casual dinner and a few cheap drinks. The ambiance at a bar matters a lot to me, and we felt so comfortable here! It's a classic neighborhood bar, but cleaner and so well designed. The best way to explain it is it's like the perfect local bar you'd see in a movie or tv show. We started with the crab pretzel and agreed it was the best we've ever had. Their on tap selection is huge and they even had amazing beers for "non-beer" people like me! (The Strawberry Fruli is basically heaven) The burger and wings we had were awesome, and we agreed that we will definitely be back soon! (And the final tab agreed with us ;) ) Very refreshing experience in canton, where it is hard to find non-overpriced food & drinks. We were also super impressed with the bartender and the quality of service. Seamless! Can't wait to come back.

Yelp
I started going to Stackhouse about a year ago and was sold! Food was good and beer was cold. They made small changes to the menu and as of late have been disappointed with the quality of food. I really enjoy the bar atmosphere, especially since it's a hockey bar! I'd suggest drinks and snag food up the block at Silks!
google avatar

Yelp
I hesitate to write great review of this place because I'm afraid people will see it and flock to this neighborhood gem just steps away from my house. Hudson Street is great for football or hockey but it's great for meeting a friend and just catching up. Lots of great beers on tap, craft brews, and more including my favorite Allagash White, on occasion. Specials almost every night of the week on top of the already very reasonable prices. The food here isn't fabulous, but I've asked to make little tweaks to the items on the menu several times and they've always been amenable. Simple but good bar food. I like the Mussels Hoegaarden, the pretzels and the shrimp salad - go figure! It's always fresh and a little tangy. Yum. Great bartenders, very comfortable, cozy bar section with a tin ceiling that warms the whole space. Best of all, it's easy to overlook, kind of hidden on a side street which helps to keep the riffraff out and by riffraff I mean people who are left at Portside at 1:45 a.m. on Friday night and those who can't find their way out of Canton Square.

Yelp
Best. Bartender. Ever. Seriously. Usually a bar is just a bar for me because even though I enjoy a good beer I don't know enough about them to care about how many different drafts a place has on tap. But Stackhouse provided the best beer drinking experience I've ever had. So my friend and I sit at the bar and start looking at the menu of what they've got on tap. Confronted with so many choices (at least 20!) I immediately get overwhelmed and tell my friend how I know nothing about beer. He asks me what I usually like and I give him the vaguest answer possible ("nothing too hoppy and nothing too heavy."). Mere seconds later the bartender slides a little sample cup in front of me and tells me to give that a try. It was the Boulevard Unfiltered Wheat and it was exactly what I didn't know I wanted. When I was ready for round 2 I asked if he had any other suggestions. He thought for a moment and then poured me a sample of Palm and it again hit the mark. When my friend ordered a 3rd and I said I'd had enough the bartender (whose name I woefully never found out) immediately placed a big glass of water in front of me. Talk about anticipating my needs! I can't heap enough praise on Stackhouse. Go now!
google avatar

Lauren H.

Yelp
First off, let me say that I am very disappointed Stackhouse does not have higher ratings. I lived in Canton and went here all the time. It's a great neighborhood bar. A. This place is always clean! Yes ladies, clean! No disgusting bar bathrooms here. B. Everyone who works here is super friendly C. They have a great beer selection and D. I love the decor of this bar. If you want a true bawlmer experience, go to Stackhouse!

Yelp
I went here because I was searching for places to watch the Stanley Cup playoffs (to root for the Caps, by the way...) and found the Stackhouse toted as "the hockey bar" in Baltimore. Some of the reviews I read had me nervous about visiting, but I consider myself adventurous and decided to drop by one Saturday afternoon. I already saw a bunch of Caps fans in the bar, which was a good sign. However, upon inspection of the TVs in the place, my stomach dropped. They were TINY. I feel like I've seen computer monitors that were bigger than the TV! I am not one of those people who want to see a game on a 72 inch screen, but this was ridiculous. We were already there and I wasn't going anywhere (not with the game about to start...!) The beer list is AMAZING. I am not a beer drinker, mind you, but the list was SO impressive that I had to try some. I actually found two beers that I liked!! One was the "Loverbeer Madamin", which was an Italian ale. Very sweet and tasty. The second, which I feel real beer drinkers wouldn't consider beer, was Fuili strawberry beer. It is a Belgium white ale with tons of strawberry taste. Also very good! The food was regular bar fare, with a few more elaborate dishes. Since I was there for my full on "sports fan experience", I decided to drink my beer and eat some wings!! The atmosphere was great for watching hockey, especially with all the Caps fans around. The reason why I like watching hockey with other fans is because of the special environment that comes out of the experience. The Stackhouse was a pretty perfect place for this setting, with great food and beer to top it off. Even better this day was the Capitals won in double overtime :) So overall, I would (and have!) come back to this bar. However, a HUGE caveat is to beware the television screens. If you are hard of seeing or prefer bigger sets, then this is not the bar you are seeking. I was lucky enough to get right in front of one, so my experience was bearable. P.S. I forgot to mention they have a hockey bubble top game, but I never got to try it out :-(

Yelp
Stopped in here for more drinks after brunch at Saute about a week ago. The bartender was really nice and very experienced/knowledgeable. The place wasn't too crowded. They've got your basic domestic beers and specials, as well as lots of choices on craft beers. I ordered some dry wings (extra crispy w/ sauces on the side) and they were delicious and came out exactly to order. Casual and friendly place to chill with great beer choices. Not too pricey either.

Yelp
I finally had a free Saturday to check out the local "Hockey Bar" in Canton. Rumor had it they played hockey on the TV and they had a good beer list. So we trucked on down. Upon entering it was pretty empty, most likely because it was early afternoon, but there was a hockey game on and no one was at the bar watching it! WHAT!? No hockey fans in sight. Disappointing, but oh well, moving on. We didn't really know what to do when we walked in because no one greeted us so we just sat at the bar. We did notice that there were open tables in the back of the place and a couple of high tops surrounding the bar. We snagged a beer menu and began to peruse. Upon first glancing over the beer menu, nothing really stood out to me, which is fine because I usually have a few beers in my head that I want to try and unfortunately this place had none of them. There were a lot of standard issue beers on there, Dogfish 60 Minute, Celebration, Heavy Seas Brews, Guinness, Boddington's, Lagunita's etc. However, there were a few Belgium brews on the list that I have never heard of before. To start I went with the Oud Beersel Framboise. This beer was a little disappointing because it was way too sweet for my taste buds. So, onto the next one, De Ranke Pere Noel. This was another Belgium and this one was much better. A little less sweet and a little more tart. So while we were sitting just looking over the menu and enjoying our brews we realized that the music was REALLY loud and it gradually kept getting louder. There were maybe 7 people at the bar and couple people were in the back restaurant part so no need to blare music. But, you literally had to yell at each other to communicate. At least the music they were playing was ok and tolerable but I would expect them to have the sound of the hockey game on, being they are a hockey bar, wrong. But then all ill thoughts were forgotten when I ordered my final beer, the De Struise Tsjeeses. This was probably the best beer I have ever had in my life. It was so complex. At first it was sweet, almost too sweet; but as I drank the beer it almost became more and more sour tasting. It was unreal. It was so good I almost started weeping right there at the bar. I immediately jotted down my thoughts on this beverage in Evernote so I would not forget! I will never forget! I looked up the brewery and found that it was only a seasonal brew (SAD!) and I noticed something else, they misspelled the name of the beer. So this is a beer bar that misspelled the name of a Belgium beer?? That is not paying attention to detail and embarrassing if you ask me (See photo evidence). Is it picky of me, yeah; but if you want to be a top notch beer bar you need to get your product right! Overall, I will come back here. I did not try any of the food because nothing really stood out to me so maybe next time. It looked like it was a pain to get food if you were not seated at the bar. People behind us were coming up to the bar and ordering food around us. Sort of annoying but oh well. The 2 bucks off of draft brews is nice, however if I may make a suggestion to please turn the music down, these beers you serve are strong and meant to be enjoyed over some conversation, similar to a wine. If that is what your plan is, you may want to avoid here because my voice was definitely cracking by the time we left.

Yelp
Went there for a beer event. The place is well lit, sport bar kinda place with a few flat screens here and there. I unfortunately did not have the chance to taste their food, which looked quite exquisite I may add. The service was great and they went out the way to accommodate a large crowd. The best thing is that they offer a superb variety is great beers, that often time you cannot find anywhere else. So overallI can only think of a couple bad things about this place. 1. Parking is to say the least horrible!! I have a small vehicle and it took me a while. Also, do not park at Safeway, because they will tow you. If this happens, I TOLD YOU SO! 2. The places is EXTREMELY loud! My gosh I could not hear myself think. I will more likely try their food on a less busy evening. Looking forward to it.

Yelp
Wow. I don't live in the city so I had never heard of Stackhouse. I came to meet a friend for drinks and was floored by the ambiance both of the bar itself and the bartenders. The bartenders were so incredibly friendly and helpful when making a drink selection. They have a ton of beers on tap, and not just your average domestic beers; they've got craft beers, and a lot local. Highly recommend this place. Although my review is based solely on the drinks and staff, I will definitely be coming back for some food. This place gives off good vibes. I'm about it.

Yelp
I love that HSS is off the beaten path in Canton(GPS didn't help much). It blends in with the neighborhood with a flat facade, but much worth it compared to the Square. Every time i have been here(Twice!) Crowd is usually around ten with five ordering food. Wednesdays are half off German and Belgian beers. The draught tap is very respectable and changes around enough. This is on my list of bars during football and hockey season.

Yelp
YO! This is a hockey bar! I came across this pub while I was looking at events for the 2010 Baltimore Beer Week. It said that the Stackhouse was slinging $2.50 Franziskaners during the Caps game. I was sold. $2.50 for my favorite beer during my favorite sport. Sold! The space is nice, clean, friendly and they have a lot of classic beer decor which is always fun to look at. They have a bubble hockey game that people were playing before the game and during intermission. About 30 minutes before game time the bar was filled with Caps jerseys and it was a celebratory crowd. The atmosphere was great, people were cool and service was prompt. I'm gonna have to give them a second chance on the burger though. I asked for medium rare and got medium well with a charred outside. For the price I paid it wasn't all that big and the fries were so-so. I've been told that the burgers are really good so I may have had an off night. But after a once over of their taps I felt that this bar knew it's beer selection and prices were good. I'll be back.

Yelp
A hockey bar in Baltimore. Beautiful! Came here based on recommendation from bartender at Cardinal Tavern (another great place) on best place to watch Game 2 of Bruins/Blackhawks Cup finals. Had just seen O's - Red Sox game at Camden Yards so many Bruins had filtered in, as well as lots of locals. A very friendly place. Great beer selection, particularly local brews - Heavy Seas, etc. Pretty good bar food eats. The crab dip pretzel was awesome - lots of crab, cheese and a really chewy pretzel loaf made the appetizer almost a meal on its own. Steak & Cake had nice lump crabcake with a rather bland elation steak, overall pretty good.

Yelp
Could not say enough good things about this place. Beer Menu = 5/5 - always a huge list of microbrews / imports. Happy Hour = 5/5 - $2 off all drafts (so most awesome imports will only run you ~$3-5 per pint) Food = 5/5 - HIGHLY recommend the seared ahi tuna entree with seaweed salad. Vibes = 4/5 - always a great crowd + they have bubble hockey. My only negative is that it's not the biggest place and seating is somewhat limited.

Yelp
Went here on a whim, just based off of the look of the exterior. This bar has a great beer menu, and a great choice of entrees to choose from. The burgers were fantastic, and the bartender definitely knew his stuff when it came to the brews. All in all, a good place to check out if you're in the area.
