Google
Easily one of the best burger joints in all of Nashville! Loved the convenience of this location in East and the staff was so friendly as well. I had the bbq burger and the chilly cheese fries and was not disappointed! The strawberry shake is totally worth the hype too. So thick and creamy.

Google
Very good food. Service was kinda self..order, await you # to be called, pick it up at the counter..plenty if Ketchup, again, self serve. Unsure on drink refills. Fries also very good...

The store connected to Hugh- Baby, Vui's Vietnamese kitchen has some great pho!

I had decent hopes for this place as I’m visiting the city for a couple of days, and it was one of the first ones to pop up. I ordered delivery so I can’t attest to customer service or the actual location space or staffing. I ordered the chili fries (emphasis on the chili) and a chicken burger. Price wise the food was accurately priced. Taste wise left a lot to be desired and I felt like I was eating a lot of grease. I ordered additional condiments that didn’t come with the order as well. I would likely not come here again.

Google
I love this place. I've been to one of the other ones and it was a bit different. The staff was super friendly. The service was excellent. It was clean and the food was good except for one small thing. The fries we got were not very good. Not because of taste but because of the size. Our order of fires must have been at the last of the batch. Every fry was maybe 1/4 long. I promise. It was kind of sad. I should have taken a picture but I didn't. But...I still like Hugh Baby's.

Google
Really good food always fresh always from scratch love the lemonade love the fries service is okay sometimes can be really good sometimes can be kind of not caring as far as interaction with the customer. I've gone here a few times and his latest time I tried to order and everyone was looking at me and no one came to take my order therefore their rating has dropped with me.

Google
Was good. Fries are shoe string. Could be a bit hotter. Burger was hot and smash burger style. Will be back. $25 for two (2 burgers, 2 fries, cup of water, and a small milkshake)

Google
Hands down the best pulled pork sandwich I ever had. The tangy barbecue sauce made this a total mouth watering experience.

Yelp
Quite possibly the best milkshake in Nashville! The draw is the pulled pork sandwiches and the fried bologna sandwiches. But the payoff is, without question, the milkshakes! Fun little joint; in the midst of a streetside "food court". We'll be back, for sure!

Yelp
We're visiting from Austin and I'm genuinely surprised this place didn't come up when others were recommending places to me ahead of our trip. Great spot for smash burgers, dogs, shakes, fries, pulled pork, veggie burgers, fried chicken sandwiches, and more. This location is in Hunters Station food hall. There are six paid parking spots in the lot and four handicap spots. Plenty of street parking in the area as well. There are enough seating options indoors and outdoors. It's a great space for a family. We had some delicious hot dogs, burgers, fries, and a shake. We'll not only be back but will recommend this place to others visiting Nashville.

Yelp
After a very early morning and a long flight, we were starving once we got to Nashville. I looked up places to grab a quick bite near our Airbnb, all that came up was crappy fast food, and then, Hugh-Baby's. We decided to check this out since it wasn't the typical chain fast food places we have at home in CA. There is a tiny parking lot and we were able to snag a "to-go" spot. Went inside this "food hall" type place that was pretty dead, luckily Hugh-Baby's was open! I wanted a smoked turkey sandwich but they were already out of turkey, so I got a Single Cheeseburger and he got a Bologna Sandwich. We also got an order of fries to share. Went back to the Airbnb and devoured our food. It was delicious! Honestly one of the best fast food burgers I have ever had - is this place fast food? I don't know, no drive through at this location. His bologna was really good, such a thick slice of fried meat with a massive slice of grilled onion, mustard, and pickles. Fries were good. Cheap! About $15 for this above average "fast food" type meal. If I lived in Nashville, I would be here often.

Yelp
Excellent staff, friendly, efficient, professional. The burgers are tiny and, for some reason, utterly dripping in grease. The fries were scraps; bottom of the barrel, tiny pieces. This place used to be fabulous, now it's mediocre. Cmon, Pat. Get it together, man.

Pam W.

Yelp
This Hugh Baby's is located in a building with several other eating establishments, and you will find them in the very back. The burgers themselves are smash burgers, so I highly recommend getting a double. On our visit we had the double cheeseburgers and they were hot, fresh, and tasty with two patties, lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles, and sauce. My husband wanted to try a chili dog, and said that it was okay, but it wasn't his favorite. We also ordered the chili cheese fries. These came with a chili sauce that was much like the hot dog sauce you can get from a can at the grocery, and there was way too much of it. The fries were soaking in it. And, unfortunately, there was no cheese. I would not order those again. I'm glad I had the chance to try Hugh Baby's, and perhaps we will return to give them another try.

Yelp
The service at this location is wonderful. They are friendly and hardworking, always in the kitchen smiling! Aside from the experience, the smash burgers great quality and taste. This is a great place for a classic smash burger, fries, and milkshake meal.

Yelp
We stopped here during our food tour. We had the Memphis-style pulled pork sandwich. It was delicious. The staff was great.

Aireal S.

Yelp
I forgot how good their veggie burger is! I asked for extra crispy and in glad i did! The crispness is the best compared to a real smash burger. I had to check to make sure it wasn't real meat. I just wish they weren't so small for almost $8. If i want to double my burger it's almost $16 but its so good I'm thinking about doing that next time! Food came out relatively quick and service was good. If u have a group who likes different types of food, visit hunters station. & don't forget to ask for the comeback sauce .. it'll keep you coming back.

Yelp
Best fast food burgers in Nashville. Fries are delicious too. Employees are very nice too

Justin M.

Yelp
I Got the chili cheese fries, reg fries, 2 cheeseburgers, and a chocolate shake. Fries were kinda soggy honestly and seems like we got all end broken pieces the shakes flavor seemed kinda watered down a bit. The burger was the best thing yet very average and the chili didn't have any flavor at all. , ... they have fries soaking in one side of a dirty sink and the other side full of fries without water. The sink all around it and under it is filthy. So strange. After ordering we turned around and there was a huge smell of urine by the stand up counter!! Not sure if Hunters Station has a cat or cats that live in here and roam around at night, but the urine odor IS there. All the staff were polite so, that's why it's a 3 star, but I really wish I would have NOT seen that part of the kitchen and or smelled the strong urine odor. Please feel free to go over there and see for yourself and tell me if I'm wrong or out of line, but as I'm sure I've made it clear that I will not be returning to eat here. If anyone is offended by this, then my apologies, but this was my honest experience. Thanks for reading.

Yelp
The service was quick and fresh, plus reasonably priced! It was our first time trying this location, but the employees were friendly and speedy. The food presentation isn't the prettiest, but the taste is pretty good. The burgers are smashed burgers and have good flavor and quality cheese. The French fries were good, but nothing to write home about. The main downside of this location is the parking, but if you are looking for a good quick burger this is the spot!

Yelp
I like the smash burger style and the beef has a good taste. However, they're over salted and pricey. IF we go back, we will get them unsalted and salt ourselves. This location is in a food court, so don't expect any kind of diner feel or trendy atmosphere. For taste and style comparison, think Steak -n- Shake. They're nearly identical, except Hugh Baby's is more expensive. At Steak -n- Shake you can get a double cheeseburger combo (fries and drink) for less than what Hugh Baby's charges for just the double cheeseburger alone. Steak -n- Shake gives a free shake with every receipt survey too. At Hugh Baby's my wife got a single patty burger, fries and a Dr. Pepper. I got a double cheeseburger, fries and water. It cost us $25.84. Last week we went to Steak -n- Shake. My wife got a single cheeseburger, a large order of fries, a Dr. Pepper and a shake. I got a double cheeseburger, regular fries and a Coke. Our Steak -n- Shake bill was $16.34. More food, an extra drink plus a shake and it was still $9.50 cheaper than Hugh Baby's. Steak -n- Shake has a rewards thing too, so you get $2 off coupons and other deals. I know, this is supposed to be about Hugh Baby's. It's just that Hugh Baby's doesn't stand up against the competition. They're not worth the price.

Yelp
We ordered delivery . Ordered the chicken sandwich with cheese and it was good, not outstanding. It did have a nice bite to it from some spices, so definitely better than a fast food chicken sandwich. My friend ordered the BBQ sandwich and pronounced it wonderful. The fries did not seem completely done, they were clumped together and a little soft.

Yelp
To all of my friends from Dallas where I grew up "forgive me father for I have sinned" I can separate this review in a few parts. Let me start out with the "TL:DR" version. Hugh Baby's is what most, if not every, regional fast food chain strives to be. Simple, fanatic, you think you're having a stroke it's so consistent service. "Is it that good?" Yeah... "Are you sure? " why would I post this... "is it consistent?" Enough so that even during the pandemic I've been startled 3 different times when the curbside pickup was at my window so fast I think I've checked my pants 2 times. Regional fast food places try to serve a lot of needs. I think Texas has a fist full of them, including the specialty version of Dairy Queen that doesn't exist here for reasons I don't understand. I can, and probably write a Masters level dissertation on regional fast food places and why so many of them don't work at scale (In-N-Out I'm look at you with a lot of dissappointment). Hugh Baby's is phenominal, phenomenally simple, fast food. The staff isn't necessarily 100% flawless (grading on the white kids smiling and being enthusiastic about everything from Chikfila scale, yet they are 97% there). It's solid, consistent, fresh, fast food. During these crazy times when Dominos seems to struggle with getting pizza sauce on dough, I'll take it.

Yelp
I don't have time to write a review but this restaurant deserves 5 stars. The food eats itself. And to be fair, I kind of laughed at the restaurant, thinking, "do we need another burger place?" Yes. And I will go here because I'm craving it, not because it's convenient. I'll eat here over my love of Thai, hot chicken, bbq, seafood, we have lots to choose from here on Nashville. This is my burger joint. They wouldn't let me post this unless I kept writing, so I had to squeeze out a review when I'm actually trying to eat something and my girlfriend is like, "why are you writing a review? Let's eat"

Yelp
The staff was so nice and the food was good! I loved my chocolate milkshake. The pulled pork sandwich was great especially for the price point, but I'd like to go back and try one of their other menu items. The fries were fresh and well seasoned but I wish they were a little crispier. Overall, I cant wait to go back and try more things!

Amy H.

Yelp
Was greasy as ever, fries were cold and the forgot my milkshake. Considering this is my second time trying I wouldn't recommend

Ben A.

Yelp
We have been dying for a cheap/great burger since spending a bunch of time out west last year with easy access to In N Out. We finally got to venture out of our virus quarantine in the Boro and check out this spot. It hit the spot. Nothing fancy. Very simple. Insanely fresh. We will be back. Cheeseburger and chili cheese fries were awesome. I want to explore more of the menu too. Slaw dog and fried bologna were calling my name as well!

Penny H.

Yelp
Kinda disappointed. Weren't prepared for the food mall experience. Burger was good but kinda on the small side. Pretty good for a light early evening snack but not dinner.

Garrett L.

Yelp
This spot is heaven for those of us who just want to splurge on greasy, delicious, filling burgers. Unwrapping the double cheeseburger, grease dripped out all over my hands and tray. A great sign. The first bite was exactly what I was craving - a flavorful burger fit with standard toppings, plus a custom sauce. So good that I went up for another after I finished the first. The best part is, you can get this fast food fill-up in the convenience of Hunters Station - a clean, well-organized, and comforting space for casual and social dining.

Alexa S.

Yelp
Yummy, fast, classic cheeseburger. Lettuce, tomato, pickle, onion, come back sauce. Pleasant service. Attentive. Definitely trying to make a good impression in a new neighborhood. Couldn't be in Hunters Station without smelling the delicious burgers cooking away on the griddle. Well worth the cost, will totally be back!

Hailey W.

Yelp
In the top three favorite burger of all time. Doughy and buttery bun, great fresh made patty. The sauce is amazing. I wanted to keep eating but my stomach wasn't big enough. The fries were so good as well and you could see them make them fresh. Will recommend and be back whenever I can.

Patricia F.

Yelp
They're starting to get sloppy with their preparation! It's getting to where I only order fries and lemonade but even that's hit and miss. I ordered chilli dog and usually the bun is toasted but not this time, very disappointing! My cup of lemonade was filled to the brim with ice so it was basically lemon water. I hope this location gets it together!

Ted H.

Yelp
If I closed my eye eyes I would have thought I was at the best Steak and shake I had ever been to. Very good double stack burger with amazingly good fries. It is served in a veery small bun so the beef to bun ratio is on point!

Christy M.

Yelp
Super new in Hunter's Station and same delicious shakes! Looks like there will be a great patio and having the walk up to go window will add a lot of foot traffic.

Caitlin E.

Yelp
Holy crap this burger rivals In-N-Out AND Shake Shack, with a $4.75 price to boot! Heaven! Not to mention the perfect fries and shake. Fresh and hot! Delicious!

Jenn A.

Yelp
Obsessed with this place. The food was amazing. We didn't get anything special, burgers and fries, and they were perfection. Quick made to order.

Ashley E.

Yelp
Was really excited to try a new burger joint being somewhat new to the area. I got a cheeseburger and added bacon. The burger was soooo greasy I couldn't even eat it. The bottom bun basically disintegrated to mush due to all the grease. I didn't even eat but maybe one or two bites. Maybe it was an off day but I definitely will not be back any time soon.

Amanda P.

Yelp
Best cheeseburger I've ever had. This is an OG diner burger that is perfectly done. Finally something that kicks Shake Shack.

Kristen P.

Yelp
This place is incredibly good. Great service. Food comes out hot & fresh. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

Lauren C.

Yelp
This place is so good. I keep wanting to go back and eat it again! We enjoy their burgers and milkshakes. The fries are good, too!

Dave C.

Yelp
One of the best burgers I've ever had. Crispy delicious, expertly seasoned. Get the double burger. 4 stars because its in Hunters Station which is more often than not, a madhouse of screaming kids and dumbshyte parents.

Alan G.

Yelp
We've been here a couple times and had a decent opinion, after last night it's looking grim for our return. Dbl Cheese was nasty, waaay too much goop they call go sauce or something. The bun was so nasty moist halfway through it was pretty disgusting. And we ate it within minutes so it's not like it was prepared forever. Seemed like no seasoning on burger patties either. Heard the chili cheese dogs were good, whoever told me that can zip it when it comes to suggestions. Too many raw onions and not sure if that was chili or what. The really odd thing was the dog was hard, and not like a hot dog "snap" or anything. Just plain hard to bit and chew. Thought perhaps they deep fry them but that wasn't quite it either. I wouldn't drop by if they were handing those out free. Can't say much good about the fries either. To fry fresh cut fries properly you have to blanch them once, then crisp them up with a 2nd cook. Believe me, I know. I saw them drop some straight from the bag into the fryer, pretty sure they only fry once. We can argue about the method, but there's no arguing these fries were sad and far from crispy. We've been going to Culvers for over 25 years, we used to visit friends in WI when they were fairly small. I've eaten there endless times and not sure I've ever been disappointed. If you want a solid consistent burger, go there. Considering I'm from KC, I actually like Martins BBQ fairly well although they wouldn't hold up well in KC. Pat Martins H Baby's venture needs some work based on that meal.
