Excellent food. Excellent service. Large menu. Very accommodating to groups of all sizes. Easy to hear each other talk even with a busy restaurant.

First time trying this place last night, came for the steaks. Their porterhouse was phenomenal, I got medium rare and it was beautiful inside and out, perfect amount of juicy flavor. My boyfriend got their W.R Chicago Cut medium rare plus which I also tried, melted in the mouth but crunchy on the outside, he fell in love and he is a steak snob. We didn’t realize their steaks are from Gibsons and we’re in love with their steaks but decided to try Hugo’s and they made these surprisingly even better! Ended with their Crème Brûlée which was a perfect size for 2. We appreciated the option for booths at the bar section. Service was straight forward. Will be back soon!

The service is amazing. Hugo’s is a place that can be for a special occasion or for a quick bite but plan for a little pricier price point. The steaks and frog legs are out of this world. The ceasar salad with chicken is a must if you love salads. Save room for desserts so you can enjoy the chocolate mousse pie.

If you want your birthday celebration or dates to be memorable bring them to the best steak in Chicago! Went here twice for a birthday celebration and I loved the experience! Everything was sinfully delicious. All appetizers were flavorful. Steaks were cooked to perfection — i like mine medium rare or medium! We had the best desserts ever! Everything on our table were delightful! You wont regret coming here! 😊 😊😊 To the Owner you have a great staff 😊😊 our server was very fast, informative, clean , fun!! Kudos!!

Amazing ambience, like stepping into a different world the minute you cross over the threshold. Sat at the bar and Diego was amazing from the first moment. When I ordered the Moet he understood that I wanted the glass chilled and took a few moments to make sure that my bubbles would be in a very cold champagne flute. That said the tone for the rest of our meal. The food came out quickly and was hot and delicious. I loved the crawfish cheese and the bread that came out was excellent. Three different kinds each at the top of their game and not just some boring bread basket. Also ordered the prime rib on the recommendation of our excellent bar tender comment came with all the trapping and we took it to go for another member of our party. I also ordered the sweet potato and while I didn't use the maple butter I did taste it and thought it was delicious. I just prefer my baked potatoes au natural to enjoy their flavor. Great place to sit and feel like you're in a different world for a little while.

Celebrated my husband’s birthday here and had a great time! We were pleasantly surprised at how good the service and food was considering it’s inside Rivers Casino. We had the crab cake and lobster bisque as appetizers - both very good. The Chilean sea bass was absolutely delicious, and I know my husband enjoyed the char on his 14 oz filet. We always get the crème brûlée if we see it’s on a menu, and this one was huge (could feed up to four people)! Only wish they’d add some fresh fruit on top or on the side to help cut the sweetness since it can be a lot for two. Overall, we had a great experience. Service was quick and attentive. The manager even came up to our table to greet us. We plan to visit again!

A friend recommended Hugo's. It was a great recommendation. I ordered the 10oz filet and it was perfect. I enjoy a lot of char on my steak and Hugo's delivered. The steak was very flavorful on its own but they also serve a little side sauce that I really enjoyed. We also ordered a hamburger and it was very good. The brussel sprouts were amazing - I highly recommend Hugo's.
