The 38 Essential Restaurants in Paris

"This minuscule, white-painted, no-reservations raw bar in the heart of Saint-Germain-des-Prés is a pearl, and it serves the best bivalves in Paris. The owners get them shipped daily from pedigreed producers in the Marennes d’Oléron, Normandy, and Brittany on France’s Atlantic coast. Start with some smoked scallops, tuck into a dozen oysters, and finish up with the runny chocolate tart. Located in the Sixth Arrondissement." - Alexander Lobrano

Quaint spot to sit outside, enjoy amazing oysters and Aligote wine. The caviar did not disappoint and definitely save room for dessert! Be sure and get a reservation in advance! They accept reservations on their Facebook page. Wonderful service!

Interior seating area is limited so try and arrive by around 1245pm if you want a table on the inside. There’s 3-4 tables outside the restaurant but might be a bit cold during the winter / spring seasons. Oysters are obviously really good but the sea urchin, if it’s in season, is better than those we have tried in Japan. Service is efficient but takes a bit of time as there’s only 2 of them running the restaurant.

Google
A very small & stylish seafood bistro. The oyster is very fresh and tiger prawn has very strong flavour. Staff are friendly and responsive. I like how they do the smoked salmon fillet with cream to make the taste with more layers.

Google
Cute seafood restaurant. Service is a little stretched due to a small staff size. Otherwise the seafood is pretty fresh. Had a variety of oysters, king prawns, snails. The scallops were a little underwhelming for the price.

Google
I visited at lunchtime and was able to get in right away. There were not many tables inside and the space was narrow, but I didn't feel any inconvenience. I ordered oysters and champagne. The staff was friendly. My food pairing was perfect. It was a happy lunch.

Google
Really fresh oysters. Reasonable price. I like how simple the menu is. Very friendly and professional service. They don’t give you the slobbish French attitude.

Maryna Balluch

Google
Cute little place, which I liked—it’s small and cozy. But overall, nothing really special. The food was pretty standard, similar to many other spots in Paris. What really disappointed me was the service—not friendly at all, no smiles, just felt a bit cold. Wouldn’t go out of my way to come back.

Mikhail Yevdokimov

Google
This small, exclusive spot in Paris offers a limited yet top-tier selection of seafood, focusing on the finest oysters and sea urchins. The freshness is unmatched, and the experience is elevated by a well-curated choice of wine and champagne. If you’re looking for a refined, no-frills seafood experience, book in advance to secure your spot!

Yelp
Four stars for the price because the special for a dozen oysters plus a glass of wine is really really good. The service was fine too and the oysters were well shucked. That said the place is tiny, even by Parisian standards (it was even tighter than the one time our table was literally part of the radiator at the Pigalle 17:45). It is so tight that every time another table had someone need to get up the whole back wall of the place had to get up to let them out. Also kind of a bummer that the selection is worse than Comptoir de Mer, Avant Comptoir de Mer or most of the brasseries in Montparnasse. Honestly although the oysters were good and the prices were great, it wasn't a terribly enjoyable experience and we most likely won't return.

Yelp
The best Oysters and Shrimp! We have been wanting to try Huitrerie Regis for our last couple of trips to Paris, but there was always a line for this very intimate restaurant. Recently, the owners sold it to a couple of younger gentlemen, and the only thing they changed was that they now take reservations! We ordered the Cabane x 2: 24 oysters (four different kinds and eight large head-on shrimp) -- all outstanding. A couple of glasses of Chinon and we were set. The discovery for us was the vinegar. Spectacular with oysters. So good I went to the Grand Epeceire at the Bon Marche and picked up a couple of bottles. Nice, friendly service, and never rushed -- the French way!

Yelp
I read about Huitrerie Regis on a list of best oyster places in Paris, and it was extremely close to our hotel. So we gave it a shot. It is not an assuming place - in fact we wandered around the same intersection for a good 10 minutes before we figured out we were almost right on top of it. It's a small restaurant so go during off times to try to ensure you don't have to wait. As it was, we were seated immediately by the couple of young men working in the restaurant. It wasn't fancy but it sure was delicious. -I got the foie gras because I cannot help myself in France. It was delicious as always. -We got oysters and added on half a dozen jumbo prawns. The oysters were a variety ... they had four in stock when we went so we just got three of each and had a merry good time. They were all absolutely delicious and shucked well. Some of the best oysters we've had in a long time. The shrimp were good but honestly the oysters were the rock star. We only were there for a small meal before heading over to the Eiffel Tower so that's all we had. But we did tremendously enjoy it. They had a small but good wine selection too, and the staff was extremely kind and knowledgeable. I wish we had enough time to return for another meal. But if you like to crush some oysters and you're over in St. Germain, check this little spot out!

Yelp
Small place but the food was oysters were a tase of the sea and their vinegar sauce balanced the saltiness.

Yelp
It's not often that I take advice from a YouTube channel called "Les Frenchies," featuring a woman who sports striped sailor sweaters and a sensible haircut, but in this case I did, and I think I've been very wrong about the Frenchies thus far. Because in this case, THEY KNEW THEIR STUFF. I loathe oysters with the heat of 10,000 suns, so I had the paté. It was just fine - tasty, and served with plenty of little toast points. But the paté isn't the point of this place. The point is the oysters, and they are divine. My husband had a dozen of their second-least-expensive oysters and he pronounced them amazing - splendid - SUPERB. They are beyond fresh, served on a proper platter with a tall base, and come with a wonderful bottle of vinegar that's aged in cognac casks. He was warned to use only a drop or two, or it will "kill the taste of the oysters." I don't know about that, but I do know that I tried a drop, and I have never tasted anything like it. It was OMG so good. The oysters come with bread - a basket of sturdy slices of what I think was sourdough rye. He had a glass of Bourgogne Aligoté (white), which was eye-wateringly expensive but very, very good. I had a glass of pinot noir, also of very high quality. The restaurant is very small - maybe 10 tables, including the 3 outside - and looks clean and fresh and chic. We sat outside in the warm sun and fresh breeze and had a delightful dining experience. Wait staff are sweet. No one rushes you. It isn't a touristy joint AT ALL, which is lovely to experience in Paris. My only warning is that if you are a larger person, perch carefully upon the chairs. I thought mine was going to collapse at one point. But it didn't. :-) And the oysters were superb.

Yelp
I'm a New Englander and I know raw bar. I know raw bar as well as anyone, and I can tell you beyond a reasonable doubt the raw bar at Huiterie Regis is world class. 10 tables, there's foie gras and other stuff on the menu but you go for their oysters. Huiterie means "oyster house " in French. They don't serve with cocktail sauce, no mignonette, just this Bouteville vinegar that is incredible. It's top is a dropper and a drop is all you need. The service was mediocre, the waiters were just a little stupid tbh, but the oyster and shrimp quality was par excellence. It's a local joint, not touristy whatsoever, and it's very cool. Get a bottle of white wine and the biggest platter you can afford! Bon Appetite!

Yelp
We had heard great things about this place and tried to go one evening but they had already closed... Its small - really small. So best to try and go at off hours - unfortunately the first time around we were too late. But persistence paid off, we came the next night and voila! A table for two! Had gotten some intel on the smoked scallops - a small appetizer but delicious! Several different types of oysters to choose from - so after a run down from our waiter - we chose. They were delicious! Briny and plump as well as sweet. Very delicious! We also ordered a half dozen prawns. Really hard to find head on prawns here in the US - at least in the northeast... they were fabulous! Excellent wines as well. Expensive but definitely the best oysters we had in Paris.

Yelp
You just arrived in Paris after a delayed flight. It's too late for lunch, and really too early for a proper dinner. It's time for some of the best oysters available anywhere in the World. Period. The only difference between being here and the shores of Brittany is a handful of hours. Outside of a nice little Duck foie gras and grilled bread to start (what better way to start eating in Paris can there be). We ordered dozens of the oysters they had available. Even when eating oysters on the coast where they are caught in the US, I've never had ones like this. Some of it is the freshness, and some is being shucked by a guy who has shucked so many thousands it's second nature. There was so much crisp brine still in the shells, I ended up dumping some of the water to balance out the salt and oysters. They were just magnificent. They had a perfect wine list. We went with a nice Muscadet because you just never see that wine around enough. It worked perfectly. This is a tiny place with no more than 5-6 tables packed into a small space. Still, it didn't feel crowded. The only disappointment was that Urchin wasn't available.
google avatar

Denise A.

Yelp
Really good and good sized oysters. I'm no expert but felt that the brine overtook the taste of the oysters so I tried not to take too much liquid with them. The wine recommendations and foie gras were both excellent.
google avatar

Yelp
Love love love the oysters and shrimp. Everything in the combination tray tasted perfect. I cannot recommend enough. Haven't had such amazing oyster for a very long time

Yelp
Can't wait to come back to Paris for this...we did a walk-in on a Tues in November ~12:30pm and got a table inside. The assistant/server from Aix en Provence was very helpful and his English is very good. The welks with the mayonnaise sauce were a great starter dish. The speciales no.3 were so fresh, the meat so plump, and the amount of liquor in the shell was amazing. Perfectly shucked with no shell pieces. This place reminds us of the seaside restaurants serving oysters in Cancale.
google avatar

Chi P.

Yelp
This restaurant was recommended to us by friends. It's a very small place so reservations are highly recommended. The oysters they're famous for were pretty good, but again nothing special. We got the seafood platter that came with 3 types of oysters, clams, and shrimp. The clams were terrible and made me miss the raw cherry clams I used to have in Boston. These were very fishy and tiny. The shrimp were okay but nothing special. I've had way better shrimp, including spot prawns in CA. The oysters were pretty good- big in size and fresh but again, nothing really special. The oysters we had in Normandy were much better and less expensive. I feel also that this place has become a tourist trap as everyone in the restaurant was speaking English. If you really want to eat oysters in Paris then this is probably the place to go but it's expensive for what you get and nothing special if you've had good oysters before.

Yelp
Featured on the essential 38 EaterS' list for Paris, Huitrerie Régis is definitely legit! The restaurant is tiny but can seat about 20+ people at max capacity, elbow to elbow. The menu features the most in season raw or chilled seafood, including the yummy local oysters, clams, shrimps and the wonderful cockles. Note that there are no hot food option - everything we ordered were as fresh as you can expect. Thank you Eater for the recommendation!
google avatar

Alexis K.

Yelp
This was my first meal in Paris! Fresh and staff are so friendly and helpful! I really enjoyed my time here!
google avatar

Johnson D.

Yelp
Oysters were fresh but on the salty side. Hope you like the oyster taste by itself because there is no cocktail sauce or anything to go with it. Also you have to order a dozen per person which is about 3£ per oyster. Most likely wouldn't come back
google avatar

Ken H.

Yelp
Friendly service but the oysters did not live up to its hype. I ordered the most expensive platter, tried all of the oysters that they had to offer. It was really average at best. I exchanged the comments and thoughts with my next table neighbor, they felt the same way too. This place seem to be very touristy. None of the patrons were local. I wonder why.
google avatar

Yelp
Raw oysters are the best. They're the best in the food. Thanks you, Dr. Jacqueline Sacco MD PhD
google avatar

Yelp
Stopped in for lunch last week. I know I keep saying this with my French reviews, but this place is tiny...maybe 16 seats. There is no kitchen, only a small shucking area and some wine. The menu is very simple. The vibe is extremely quiet... they could use to play a little music. We ordered a dozen belon oysters and a dozen prawns. The quality of the oysters was extremely high...I've never consumed oysters as "oystery" (if that makes sense to you) as this place. The prawns were also very good. They were expense though...59 euros for the dozen. Ultimately, we left without ordering anything else.

Yelp
My wife and I were in Paris and my brother in law loves this small place on a side street in Paris. They make you order 12 oysters/prawns/clams, but my wife doesn't eat oysters, so I got lucky and got 24 oysters. It wa about 25 Euros for a dozen and I got a glass of wine too. The oysters were fantastic and our server was British, so we could understand her. Highly recommended if you like oysters!
google avatar

Cynthia R.

Yelp
Tiny place on a side street with the best oysters I have ever eaten, and I have had many! Only about 4 tables inside, and two outside. We will be back before leaving Paris.
google avatar

Michael O.

Yelp
Another small owner/operator restaurant, with an active owner. My colleague and I stopped here for dinner as we wanted something different. Well we got just what we wanted. Local oysters and prawns. That is basically the menu. Owner very knowledgeable of wines and makes great pairing suggestions. Place is small and can get crowded. Mostly locals (but they do offer English menus). So suggest you get there early or go late.
google avatar

Tannaz T.

Yelp
Owner operated restaurant. The place is tiny & the tables are mostly stuck together so you'll be making new friends. They have a few set items on the menu or you just choose whatever & quantity you would like. I got the dozen oyster, 1/2 regular & 1/2 special which included a glass of wine, around 40 euros. The specials were definitely amazing and worth it. The oysters were super fresh. The place can be busy and a possible wait depending on when you go.
google avatar

Sabrina F.

Yelp
It's a REALLY tight space but has great oysters and clams. Prawns are also available. And the pricing was reasonable in my opinion. The cafe was tiny though (definitely espresso) and not a full cup of coffee.
google avatar

Samantha M.

Yelp
Minimum order is 12 per person. We ordered a little bit of everything. All the oysters were really fresh. In my opinion, the shrimp was the best. It was sweet and so good! The price is a little up there but these oysters were tastes of the ocean in your mouth. The clams were phenomenal too! I ordered their last 6 clams left! It was delicious. I ordered a pitcher of their dry white wine which paired very well. It's a small restaurant, it has about 16 seatings. The interior of the restaurant is beautiful. It's a bright, white tone with windows bringing in a lot of sunlight. Overall, pricey but a worth a visit for seafood restaurant.
google avatar

Ejae P.

Yelp
My mouth is watering just thinking about it. The oysters were soooo ridiculously fresh and delicious. I went with a friend and we started with the foie gras pâté (definitely memorable) and both got the second options with half a dozen of both oysters. My favorite were the Speciales de Claires. The restaurant was cute, only downside is how very small of a space they are working with.
google avatar

Karen H.

Yelp
I think u get here right at 630.fills quickly. Some items listed were not available. Menu is small. Oysters run at 2-3 eu each or you can get the combo offered. The selection of oysters and the quality, taste of each is excellent. Some briny, some saltier, some sweeter, some creamier, but all excellent. Fresh from the ocean. Prawns are sweet, fleshy, cold, and redder than others I have seen. Really great. Good spot for a light snack.
google avatar

Cynthia C.

Yelp
It's an oyster and shrimp bar. Simply put. That's all they have on their menu so don't bother coming if you're allergic to seafood. They have a couple of fixed menus that you can choose between. You can get two different types of oysters with coffee and wine or you can get the oysters with shrimp. The oysters and shrimp were very fresh and tasty! But honestly this should be an appetizer place since I always leave hungry.
google avatar

Nicole F.

Yelp
6 stars!!! This place is beautiful. Yes it's tiny but that's part of the charm. I came here during a solo weekend trip and had a great experience. There are a few "sets" for one. I ordered the 12 oysters/sancerre wine/coffee for €36 and it was well worth it. Comes with bread & butter too. The interior of the restaurant is all white and modern, has a handful of tables and the guys are shucking oysters right there. The waitress was really nice and accommodated my terrible French by meeting me halfway with English. Go here right when it opens to avoid too long of a line.
google avatar

Anthony P.

Yelp
Great spot for some fresh and quality seafood. Stopped by during lunch for a quick snack and beer. Oysters and shrimp were very yummy.
google avatar

Shantel T.

Yelp
We finally got to eat here for lunch, the place was packed! Mostly older, mature people. Maybe the younger crowd here in Paris aren't big on oysters ¯\(°_°)/¯ The lady, who's the wife I'm assuming, was just lovely and helpful. We tried all the oysters and sea urchin. Best sea urchin I ever tasted in my life! So sweet. We had to wait outside and we were going to sit outside at one of their tables but then some people left so we went inside to sit. We ordered two different kinds of oysters, one was stronger and more briny while the other was more light and sweeter. Anyway, make a pit stop here if you're ever in the Saint Germain Area.
google avatar

Lily Z.

Yelp
This review is for their take-out, not dine in. I've had their oysters twice. Both take-out. Both times amazingly fresh oysters. They were so plump, fresh and perfectly briny. We ordered two dozen oysters. I can't remember the type. Also, we ordered a little bit of shrimp. First of all, I was dubious about ordering already cooked shrimp because that meant all the flavor is probably already lost! NOT HERE. I was pleasantly surprised that they were still moist. Next time I'm in Paris and crave oysters without wanting to eat out, I'd go here. Plus, they give you 5 euros back when you return the tray! Make sure you ask for lemon, because the first time they didn't give us any.
google avatar

linda c.

Yelp
Super delicious! The best oysters we've ever had! Staff is terrific. Small but cozy. Super clean!
google avatar

Marcia G.

Yelp
RUN HERE NOW!!! If you love oysters, this is the place to go in Paris. It's not fancy. They only serve oysters, clams, some prawns, wine and bubbly, but seriously. What else do you need in life??? After trying some amazing (but a little too touristy) restaurants and a 3 Michelin star place in London, this was one of my most memorable places. I made my husband trek across the city through multiple metro lines and past other oyster places to come here. Very small and family owned. Service is friendly, though slow. We had three dozen oysters, crisp Sancerre white wine, and were beyond happy. Is not cheap, but it's Paris, so we were fine with the pricing - between 22-36 euros per dozen. We are our brains out. The ones that translate to "dark pearl" were out of this world. Grab one of the three tables outside and get there early. It got busy. Interior had a few small tables. Restroom is like a plastic airplane bathroom - just a heads up.
google avatar

Jenny Z.

Yelp
Sat outside because the little indoor seating was packed and there was a bit of a line already outside. The server (maybe owner?) was super accommodating and quickly got our table set outside. Was chilly but not too bad. Oysters, bread and butter were all super tasty and fresh. About 35 euro for a dozen oysters, wine, and a shot of espresso each. Good value!! Within our hour of sitting down for our meal they probably took in 10-15 customers so clearly the little oyster place is popular. After trying we get the hype.
google avatar

Lynn T.

Yelp
The best raw oysters I've ever had! I told my husband that I wanted something exotic to eat and he was browsing through yelp to find this place. He surprised me with raw oysters which he knows I loveee. I was satisfied with their raw oysters, very fresh and sweet! Oh my, I'm drooling thinking about it now. Shrimp was also very delicious, sweet! And we tried sea urchin which was interesting and good. Very satisfied with the food and service. Place is small but not overly crowded, which got me surprised but I wouldn't even complain because no wait for us. I was sure a one happy wife after we left this place :) It's a must try it!
google avatar

Yelp
Looking for some of the best, freshest, affordable oysters around? Huitrerie Regis is the place to be. An innocuous appearing store nestled in the heart of Paris, this little restaurant holds about 20 people and on warm days on the outside as well. Obviously, you are here for oysters but you can supplement with shrimp, wine and coffee. I forget the types of oysters they have there but I suspect that this is constantly evolving choice as they bring fresh stuff in. Each oyster is shucked for you as they should be. Between two people we ordered 24 and that was probably too much food... although we did finish it. Oysters were fresh, sweet and briny as you would want them. Season lightly with lemon and you're set. Take some sips of Sancerre and you'll have a burst of flavor in your mouth. Enjoy your time. Arrive early or later in the day to beat the rush. Highly recommend for oyster lovers.
google avatar

Amy L.

Yelp
I was skeptical at first cuz it was such a small place. Extremely small and only 2 people working. We didn't wait long before we got a table. Since it was already 9:30 pm, a lot of the seafood selection was either finished or not in season. However, from what was available, I can honestly say that these are the best oysters I've had in Paris and we've been here more than 10 times. I'm really surprised at the awesome quality. And the owner is such a nice lady. We had a pleasant conversation as well. Lovely way to end our Paris trip.

K K.

Yelp
A hole in the wall restaurant. A little bit of a tourist trap. Food was decent but overpriced for the quality. The waitress was very unpleasant to talk to and was giving me the cold shoulder the whole time. Most people who are there were foreigners, wonder why?
google avatar

Joey W.

Yelp
Tucked in one of the small alleys in St. Germain, Paris is Huitrerie Régis. Though small and not a place you'll pass by on your way to the shopping areas, it's definitely worth a visit. After waiting with a bowl of Tom Yum Kung in the Thai restaurant right next to Huitrerie, they were finally opened and already packed. We managed to squish into a table for four in the packed restaurant with barely enough space to get around in. We realized that there was a minimum of a dozen oysters per person but here's the thing. If you're there with a group and it's not likely that you can eat a dozen oysters each, you can order something as substitute. We placed an order of shrimps (more expensive than a dozen of oysters) so we didn't have to stuff a dozen oysters each. It takes a while for the platter of oysters to get to your table but you'll notice that Huitrerie Régis is more of a family-run type of business. There's only one man shucking the oysters. They were probably opened for only about half an hour and the man is already sweating from shucking away for all the oyster-cravers. While we were still waiting for our platter, a decent line has already formed outside of the restaurant. The oysters were the best I've had throughout my trip in Europe. We went to a couple that the locals as well as food review sites recommended but they were just not as good. We ordered the Fines de Claires, Speciales de Claires and the organic shrimps. If I remember correctly, the Speciales de Claires was way too salty for my liking. However, I can give you my word that the oysters were very, very fresh.
google avatar

Shirley A.

Yelp
Attention all Seafood Lovers! Must check Huitrerie out asap! Went here for a late lunch and sat outside for the nicest people watching and seafood indulging experience. Lovely and casual gem in a bustling area.
google avatar

Richelle T.

Yelp
This place is amazing, a very tiny restaurant with the freshest oysters and prawns. The scallop pate was ok but, the foie gras was one of the best ones I've had. Get here early!!!
google avatar

Yelp
Cozy place, dreamy oysters, great selection of wines! Read my blog post on Non-touristy things to do in Paris -http://bit.ly/non-touristy-things

Yelp
The BEST and most amazing oysters I have ever had. I found the place on Yelp while I was in Paris with my mother. It's the cutest little restaurant (and I do mean physically little). I would get there early if you don't want to wait (think American dinner time). We had a fantastic bottle of Sancerre. I don't remember which one, but she convinced us to get a slightly more expensive one than we were going to. It seems to be run by a husband and wife pair (could be wrong but that's what it seemed like). She was great and accommodated are lack of French skills. My mother got the prawns and she didn't realize that just eating shrimp could be so satisfying! I had a dozen oysters I believe and I had never eaten that many in one sitting. Now every time I eat them I dream of this place.
google avatar

Diarmuid R.

Yelp
Great French seafood experience - definitely of the "Do one thing well" family. In this case the one thing is oysters. They only have oysters, clams and prawns. Tiny place, no reservations but tables turn over quickly and you can have a glass of wine whilst you wait.. Quite touristy (maybe 75% of people in there when we were there) - lots of Chinese (I think) in particular. Clearly it's recommended in some guidebooks or websites there. I liked the fact it was fast, great quality/price and more modern in style than a more traditional bistro. Service was somewhat brusque (their business relies on turning tables) but helpful.
google avatar

Rich M.

Yelp
Best Huitres I ever had! Lovely place with a elegant white themed dinning room. Server was very patient with our limited French skills and helped us order a great wine to accompany our oysters and prawns. The tables were tight but that added to the experience. We were entertained by a gentleman who was the owners friend, they keep him happy with many glasses of wine. He joked and had the entire restaurant laughing. No reservations so you may have to wait a bit but worth the wait.

Yelp
Oh, Huiterie, how I fell for you. A brisk walk from the Louvre brought us across the river to this gem. Even using google maps, we almost walked right by it, it's unassuming exterior is easy to miss, but if you like seafood, you should make sure you don't miss this place! The seafood here is among the freshest, juiciest, most delectable I've ever had. We had a platter with 48 little morsels of seaspray joy, and 12 gargantuan shrimp. They oysters were of varying type, from dense and salty, to light and flavorful, no hint of metallic at all. Paired with a good champagne, this was such a special birthday meal in Paris! The shell-on shrimp were also just epic, huge, juicy and oh-so-sweet, it was like shrimp-candy, and I'd be hard pressed to say whether I preferred these to the oysters or not, I saved one for my last-bite of the experience. Sucking the noms out of the shrimp heads was also delightful, with no uh-oh-was-that-the-best-shrimp moments. Pretty sure we stared with their foie app, which was SUPERB, and hey, if following up with pure protein, why not? They served the seafood with plenty of fresh crunchy baguette and REALLY good butter, which I really enjoyed. We appreciated the brevity of the menu, knowing that the energy here was spent on the quality product, rather than an extensive number of options. They also list seasonal clams and uni, I was so disappointed we missed Uni season. I've yet to have it fresh from the shell, and this place offers that (in season.) As noted, it's hard to find from the outdoors, and the inside is quite small, surely no more than 6 tables. We got here at opening, and were so glad we came at that time, because it filled up really quickly after we arrived. The service is quick, courteous, and unassuming. Flawless, really, and I wish we could have ordered double the seafood, just thinking about it now makes me yearn to return.

Yelp
Amazing little joint (seats 14 inside). Delicious menu of oysters, chilled wine and a small selection of seafood. Came here on a recommendation from a friend and it didn't disappoint. A must when you love oysters and visit Paris!

Yelp
Really can't imagine a better place to get oysters. The room was small but cozy and enough room between tables that you didn't feel crowded. The menu was simple, just shellfish. You could get a mixed platter or dozens of your favorites. This day we tried a dozen of both of these smaller Boyster's and the bigger special ones. Both were good in their own way but we likes the flavor of the bigger one just slightly more. Then we tried the flats oysters which we were not a fan of. We decided to stay away from the shrimps because it seemed like too much work to shell them out. The wine list was also very nice and mostly white wines of course since you're having shellfish. There was one wine specifically out of the two we tried that was fantastic but the name escapes me at the moment. I will have to go back and search for it so we can find a bottle for later tasting. It is a little expensive being that it's the center of Paris and oysters but the experience is great. Beware though, they don't take reservations and there was a line both times we came by. So make sure you don't show starving and have the time to wait around 30 minutes for a table.

Yelp
My husband was in oyster paradise. He had 2 dozen. Left only empty shells. I had the salami and cheese. So delicious and light. Two thumbs up for this place.
