Hullabaloo Review - Deptford - London - The Infatuation

"Hullabaloo first captures your heart with its silver string of tinsel and massive tiger's head (fake, very, very fake) on the wall. Then it wins over your head with its £10 daily lunchbox, and finally your taste buds with its tasty, plant-based chana masala and bringal aloo. The Indian restaurant overlooks an offshoot of Deptford Market, and a steady stream of stallholders and locals pop in at lunch for their regular orders and chats with the staff. Things are a little chaotic and ramshackle, with a mish-mash of stools—some white leather and swivelling, others wooden, worn, and straight out of an old-timer’s pub—but it’s endlessly welcoming. If asked, opt for a spicier version of the dish over mild, as we found some of the mild options a little bland. Go for the vegetable goan, cooked in a creamy coconut sauce with a little heat, the hot, tomatoey jalfrezi, and the garlic naan that’s, wait for it, properly garlicky." - Sinéad Cranna

This was a grand slam meal. Everything about this restaurant was perfect. Food service and atmosphere were spot on. We had the beet salad, and it was amazing with fresh pears. I had the short ribs over garlic mashed potatoes. I'm telling you it was spactular! My fiance had the supreme pizza and loved it. The crust was perfect, and the flavor was excellent! I would highly recommend stopping in next time you're in the Palm Beach area!

Google
What a wonderful place! We went for happy hour! Joey makes amazing drinks and Chase is an excellent server!!! The apps and pizza were amazing! We will be back Sunday for brunch! Don’t miss this place!!!

Amazing food, great atmosphere. Great server, Amelia and manager. Will be back. Branzino was delicious. Chicken marsala spectacular. Short ribs were devine. Drinks were also lovely.

Google
This place is amazing! The service here is top tier and the food is chef’s kiss!! My server was Amelia and she was one of the best servers I have ever had in my life. She anticipated every need we had at a table of 3. I wanted for nothing the entire time I was there. I went for brunch and had the Italian sausage and ricotta omelette. Do not doubt the menu! Eat the dish as it comes with the ketchup and hash together. I promise you will not be disappointed! While Amelia is exceptional herself, I can also say that the service at this restaurant is exceptional in general. As a highly observant person, I watched the other servers with their tables and the service was exceptional across the board. The bartender was even considerate enough to offer a cup of ice to a homeless man in 90 plus degree weather. The chicken sandwich was a little bland according to my table mates review but the service outweighed the one bad food review we had. 10/10 would recommend. I am grateful for a great time.

The food here is amazing. The drinks are top tier and unique. I love the playlists and happy hour is a great value. Emily and Cameron provided superior service. I’m very happy and will definitely be back soon.

Google
Amazing bolognese pizza & happy hour! This is the Tony P pizza its like a Cuban sandwich which we were in the mood for & enjoyed the pulled pork texture. HH clams w/chorizo was tasty but broth was too salty to enjoy this time, would retry. Love the guava wings.

Google
This place was a blast and they have a quality, well thought out food menu and drink menu. Far from simple bar food. They make great pizzas too. Fun atmosphere (phenomenal service at the bar), great music. They also have a DJ and karaoke some nights. Open late, too!

Google
Sunday happy hour, half price drinks absolutely amazing cocktails at $7 bucks a piece for happy hour, chicken Marsala was to die for and they split a dish between us which still ended up a nice size portion see pics, highly recommend it, skip the happy hour bites (deviled eggs and garbanzo) not bad but I think the rest is to die for. 90s alternative rock music brings back some memories off your from my age group.. Enjoy!

Yelp
We stopped here on a whim for happy hour before grabbing dinner nearby because it was recommended on Apple Maps/Yelp. The space is intimate, with a bar taking up most of the main room, and I liked how it was decorated for Halloween. Apparently there is seating outside/in the back but we didn't have the opportunity to check it out. Overall, the service was friendly and the drinks were great! On thing I noticed is that they do not have a cocktail menu online (probably because drinks are always rotating) but I'm a serial menu scanner and I like to know what I'm getting myself into. They do offer food as well, but we didn't have the chance to order anything because we were in a rush. 50% of all drinks at happy hour is too good of a deal, and we're so glad we checked it out!

Yelp
LOVE this hidden treasure in WPB. Made a reservation in advance online. Hostess was very friendly and sat us right away. We've been inside and outside, both are great options, especially on a nice night. Great selection of appetizers! Get the wings... amazing!! I got a pistachio crusted fish and shared it. Very tender and cooked perfectly. Drinks were also very yummy! Unique selection of cocktails! Service was fantastic. Our waiter was very attentive and knowledgeable. Will be back again and again.

Yelp
A longtime Clematis staple, Hullabaloo has always been ol reliable downtown. I really like the vibe and bar here, and service is always excellent from Jason. They're known for great pizzas, but everything else I've had has always been good. With all the changes in the area, I'm happy this place is still here!

Yelp
Came here for a quick meal with my friend. We shared a pizza which was delicious. Service was great. It's a relaxed no-frills place for a casual meal out. Service was great.

Yelp
Came here right after happy hour to have dinner with a friend! Kinda blows cause pizzas were half off and we literally just missed it but oh well! A good time was still had! I live downtown so I walked over but my friend drove. A parking garage is literally right there and it's fairly cheap so no issues. We went on a Wed or Thursday evening. We ate outside which was cool. The weather was slightly cool but we aren't Floridians so a little cool doesn't make us run to a heating source. The service was ok, had a tall gentleman that was friendly enough. He just stayed away too long and we had to go looking for him to get our bill. We ordered two apps, crispy shrimp (10/10 recommend) and fire roasted brussel sprouts. I didn't taste fire roasted, they weren't bad but definitely not anything I'd order again. I've had some bomb brussel sprouts before and this wasn't it. We both ordered a pizza - one margherita and one surpreme. The supreme was the one I ordered and it was delicious. I waited a while to try the margherita and found the cheese had congealed so it really wasn't as good by then. My friend was all over that one and said it was delicious. The bread is airy on both of them which was great cause I'm not a bread person. We finished the dinner sharing a slice of key lime pie. It's pie but it's definitely not key lime! 1/10 will never recommend! Tart and semi awful. They have a Groupon which is how I first heard of the restaurant but I let it expire so I only got face value but it's definitely worth the Groupon and without.

Yelp
Karaoke was a lot of fun! The drinks were pretty good. Our waiter was very attentive and kind! The food left something to be desired. Not super flavorful, however I was surprised by how AMAZING the zucchini chips were! They are a must try. True shrimp was also really good. The chicken salad is a literally chicken breast with lettuce on top. Overall I would return for drinks and appetizers not dinner.

Yelp
Stopped in here for an early dinner one night on our way out. Ambiance inside Hullabaloo (was WAY too hot to sit outside) felt dark and dreary. Didn't match the bright sunlight outside. The service, however, made our night. We sat at the bar and we thought the bartender Joey was fabulous- he clearly loved people and his job, and made our night memorable. I would come back just for him! For dinner we ordered the arancini balls (with pomodoro sauce), mushroom potato gnocchi, roasted garlic pepperoni pizza, and the roasted eggs and bacon (breakfast in a skillet). The arancini balls were solid (gooey inside and crispy outside), as was the roasted garlic pepperoni pizza. If anything, a LITTLE too much garlic on the pizza- between the garlic cream sauce, roasted garlic, and garlic aioli drizzle. Our fault on that one, the title didn't lie. The mushroom potato gnocchi was never delivered, and the roasted eggs and bacon were NOT tasty. Food and vibe at this bar overall were good, and we would return for a drink and a bite to eat (skipping the breakfast skillet and garlic next time though!).

Yelp
Hit happy hour and it was epic! Server Chris was the best - patient with us newbies and recommended great shareables. Highly recommend this gem of the Subculture Group

Yelp
You made my trip to Florida incredible. Did happy hour on Monday for the smoked salmon dip and half off pizzas. 10000/10 incredible service and atmosphere. Ngl it was really hot in the restaurant but the food was so worth it. Key lime pie was incredible too!!

Yelp
Here id a little gem in the heart of clematis. The food and the ambience was excellent and the place had this cozy environment that calls for it. With a party celebration I was given the backyard setting and it gave us privacy with our server giving us the dedication we deserve. Definitely recommend it.

Yelp
Not sure what happened during my visit a few nights ago. I ordered the $22 pizza of the day. It was just ok, nothing out of this world and it was missing some of the listed ingredients. The drinks are way overpriced.

Yelp
12 of us to celebrate an early Valentines Day celebration Chris was our waiter in the back outside seating.Chris was phenomenal and treated us like family . 5 star for Chris and 5 star for the food!!

Yelp
This place was great overall! The only reason I'm giving it a four is because they do not have a good variety of on draft beers. But they do have a phenomenal happy hour. That includes all alcohol at 50% off and the bartender there will not only know what you want before hand but he listens well. Lol The food is really good. We've only been there for happy hour. It's definitely worth going. The parking kind of sucks and the area looks a little sketchy, but it's totally OK. Go check it out. It'll be worth it unless you like draft beer and then unfortunately yes I would say try something else.

Yelp
Dropped in for dinner and had an amazing time. Ironically I've been wanting to try this place for a while and hadn't realized I was passing right by it when going to Kapow or O'Sheas. Customer service was A1, she was very helpful and vibrant our entire visit. I love the aesthetic of this place really spunky and unique. The craft cocktails are all named after celebrities which is cool. I also enjoyed the weekly special menu they offer for more variety outside of the standard menu. It wasn't packed at all but it was late on a Wednesday night. There's a city garage for parking a couple doors down so that's not an issue. It's nice to stop by one of the bars on clematis when going to or leaving the Brightline (what I did). I have to come back here for happy hour or their popular brunch!

Beatrice H.

Yelp
Our waiter was very friendly and accommodating. The food took awhile to come out and didn't come out together but we were a group of 11 which can be difficult. Fun atmosphere. Will be back again.

Yelp
One thing about Hullabaloo, you're going to leave satisfied. I have never had a bad experience dining here. Their seasonal items - pizzas, appetizers, and desserts are always top-tier. The vibe is cool, low lighting, unique art work, outside dining area, etc., and whenever I wanna treat myself, especially to some short rib ravioli, I hit up Hullabaloo. I love the homage to deceased musicians on their cocktail list. Even though I don't drink anymore, you'll find yourself inspired to grab a Jim Morrison or a 2Pac inspired cocktail. Service can be slow sometimes but it's all good. It's not devastatingly slow where you get angry lol but when you go during a chill time like a weekday lunch or a random weekday night early dinner you really really don't have anything to worry about. Service is great. Seating can be a little too close for comfort if they are busy, but you kind of just roll with it. Another review, giving it to you, Straight no chaser. Enjoy!

Yelp
Hullabaloo has become such a staple in downtown west palm beach. It's one of my go to spots. I think that their pizza and appetizers are pretty good. The drag shows are so good as well! A very entertaining atmosphere. They have one of the best drink menus in the city! Our server was fun and he's in a band!

Max S.

Yelp
Surprisingly good restaurant!! Burrata pasta was well cooked with sauce that was flavorful but not overpowering. Chicken with mushrooms and mashed potatoes was also great. Good service and fun ambiance in the back patio. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Yelp
Hullabaloo is great place to eat and drink when you find yourself on the 500 block of Clematis in downtown WPB. Sit at the bar if you can and hopefully Joey is behind the bar. Service is always on point and it got both indoor and outdoor dining. Cool rock and roll vibe inside. Enjoy!

Yelp
Absolutely fantastic. We stumbled upon this place mostly due to the Yelp reviews and they exceeded our expectations! They have a small but great draft beer selection. This is the first place that I have seen Riot Juice Sour and it was great, add in the Ace Pear Cider and they had us We ordered the Peperoni Garlic Pizza and Zucchini Chips. It's very important to ask for extra Chip Sauce to dip your Pizza Crust into. Our timing was perfect, we hit the Sunday Happy Hour so they had discounted beer and bar bites which just made the visit even better. If we lived in Palm Beach this would be our regular hang out.

Yelp
Another amazing brunch well spent with my besties, this time, in West Palm. My best friends had this one saved for a while so I was just as excited as they were and it didn't disappoint, not one bit. Service was top notch as we got to interact with one of the best waiters in the service and restaurant industry but...after so many bottomless guava Bellinis, well let's just say mind gets a little foggy. He was Puerto Rican and he made the best Bellinis and that's all I've got about that folks. Now as far as the food is concerned, you have to try this Cuban pizza and no it's not a Palenque or Rey's pizza Cuban pizza but an actual pie made with the same ingredients you'd make a Cuban sandwich with. Imagine roast pork, ham, pickles and chives on melted provolone and mustard. This pie was what dreams are made of, I swear; foodgasm guaranteed. We wanted to order a few dishes, family style, to be able to try some things here and there but the pizza was by far, the absolute best. We also tried the pork belly and sweet potato hash, hullabaloo burger and fire roasted brussels sprouts. The burger was good, not great, maybe a little too dry for my taste. The hash was also not the worst and not the best, definitely not memorable. The brussels sprouts were actually really tasty, a must try for sure. Washed it all down with strong but delicious Bellinis and left with a case of severe food coma but very happy bellies.

Yelp
We went to Hullabaloo for Happy Hour and had a great time and food. I had the house recommended Old Fashion - yummy and the Smoked Salmon appetizer, the homemade pepperoni hot pocket and salad to share! All was delicious and the place was lively and service was great! Definitely recommend!

Yelp
Pizza was good. Salad really good too. Fun atmosphere and lively and upbeat Service was fine

Yelp
I went to this eclectic restaurant on a random Tuesday for a mid-evening meal. I was expecting your basic run-of-the-mill pizza/Italian restaurant. We were seated immediately, even thought the place looked packed. We were quickly visited by our waiter, David. He was very friendly and helpful and made honest recommendations that we took him up on. The cocktails were on point with a fun rock and roll theme to the names. I had the John Lennon and the strawberry tasted fresh (not a sugary puree out of a bottle). The food was amazing. I was impressed! I was expecting your basic fair, but this place took the dishes to another level. I had the gnocchi mushroom appetizer and it was delicious. It had a Marsala-like sauce and I could have made a meal of that alone. The pizza had real pepperoni in it - small flavorful rounds that had a slight kick to them. All in all I would go back in a heartbeat and explore more of that menu!

Yelp
This place is a 1 min walk from the parking garage. I had a pleasant time at this restaurant. The server was awesome, attentive and checked on us often. The ambiance was enjoyable, with a nostalgic playlist of old school hits setting a great mood. However, I found the food to be mediocre, as everything seemed to be either lacking flavor or over salted. But the drinks were a standout. Overall, a decent experience.

Yelp
Even though I live locally and have heard good things about Hullabaloo for years, I had never been until this week when my brother and sister in law came to town. They found it by researching online and were attracted to what they perceived as low-key, relaxed vibes. I booked a table in the back patio, a lovely spot with plants and flowering trees, and an old airstream trailer. Happy hour goes until 7pm, and were very pleased to discover cocktails half off regular price. The place is known for their creative cocktails, and I was game to try something different. I ordered the Johnny Nash, pecan bourbon and pecan bitters and some other ingredients. It was a bit strong for me and I wouldn't order it again. Drink #2 was the Little Richard tutti fruiti, and it had the best thick chunk of grilled pineapple in it. That was a winner! Happy hour snacks are $5, and we took advantage: zucchini chips, shallot rings, and crispy parmesan habanero garbanzo beans (chickpeas). The winner is definitely the garbanzos. The other apps had a bit too much breading. I ate some of the zucchini chips after pulling off the batter. We also had crispy shrimp (not on HH menu) that were delicious. For the main meal, my brother had a large pork chop that he clearly enjoyed. I had the pork sandwich -- roasted pork with broccoli rabe, pickled red onion, and garlic aioli on grilled ciabatta. It was unbelievably good. My in law had the ratatouille that came with a slice of pesto toast. It was all better than I'd hoped, and after the two cocktails I was in a good, happy place. A flower fell right onto my sandwich, and I'm choosing to take that as good luck. Thank you Hullabaloo!

Yelp
So good. First time there and Ben took care of us. Super personable and an amazing server. Gave us a great honest assessment based on Vibe at the sub culture always super good. Really happy night

Surprisingly good ! Every one of our apps and entrees were great . Cool setting out back . We will be back

Yelp
Drunch. I mean brunch was fun. A group of 10 of us met here for a Sunday brunch. I honestly couldn't remember what it was like for brunch at the restaurant years ago, so let's just skip forward and talk about the visit a couple days ago. We were able to sit together and enjoy the visit the entire time. I reserved for the camper in the back and the restaurant got the time wrong for the reservation that they said we could sit at high top tables outside. When I got there and some of the group was there, they had us sitting in the front of the restaurant at tables put together inside rather than the high tops promised to us outside. It was packed and I think it's a good thing. However, it took a while given the fact for our food to come out. As long as the drinks are flowing, the wait is worth the while. There is a bottomless drink option of mimosas and citrus blast, which was highly taken advantage of. The egg biscuit sandwich came with poached eggs, ham, bacon, and cheese on a brioche bun with hashed potatoes. I wasn't impressed with it since it was bland and lacked flavor. Since the waitress had enough on her hands with the crowd and our table, I didn't make a fuss about it. The atmosphere was kicking and the service lacked in some areas. Luckily, the mimosas did the fizz right.

Yelp
Great happy hour deals. Great service. Great venue. I will continue to go here. The cocktails are half off during happy hour.

Yelp
Hullabaloo is a culinary juggernaut! Chef Fritz has moved on, but Edvin and Edison are rocking it in the traditions with some really off-the-chain dishes, like the special spaghetti frutte di mare part of the eclectic new American menu that rocks the house! Craft cocktails? You betcha! One of the deeper bars, in the county, for craft concoctions. It's under the supervision of Joey, the master bartender supreme. On a Saturday, in season, he's a mixology machine! Ramona Mondays are also a lot of fun. Live music after 10 pm. The waitstaff are the best, too. Fun people! Great service. The vibe of this place is also what makes it. Hipster casual with live music, karaoke and more, on different nights. The anchor of Clematis West. Walking distance from the Brightline West Palm Beach station.
google avatar

Renee S.

Yelp
Always a great place for some tasty food and drinks. The dining room is small and not the most comfortable but this is a hip spot for inventive dishes that give normal food a fun twist. The drinks are always made with care and precision and the staff is always friendly. I wish their happy hour menu was bigger. We sat at the bar for happy hour right when they opened and we were served quickly. I would like to come back to try their normal menu and check out their events.

Yelp
Another cool spot we found on our last work trip near our hotel. The staff was very friendly and the dining room was clean. The bar was really cool looking and inviting but we opted for a table to have more space. It was still happy hour so we ordered a couple appetizers and drinks before ordered an entree each. All of the cocktails are included in their happy hour special, which is awesome. We started with the Deviled Eggs and Zucchini Chips. They were both pretty good and the portions were reasonable for happy hour. The eggs were our favorite of the two. For my meal, I had the NY Strip. It was cooked perfectly and seasoned nicely. I thought I was going to like the sides more than I did but the mushrooms, broccoli, onions, and potatoes were all just mixed together rather than separate sides like I expected. Overall, the cocktails were great and we enjoyed our food. The atmosphere is cool and the building is awesome.
google avatar

Alan D.

Yelp
I like the location at the end of the strip, where it's more quiet. We made a reservation on Yelp but unfortunately they had no indoor seating and they said through yelp reviews. They tend to sit outside or out back, but it was a cold night so we didn't want to do that. We waited for about an hour, but the ambience was really great and we walked around while we waited. We really enjoyed our cocktails and the food was delicious. Really liked my fish fillet and my wife loved her salmon and my kids really liked their short ribs and the chicken wing appetizer was also delicious fun atmosphere also want to try the Asian restaurant next-door I think they're affiliated.

Yelp
Clematis Street Sunday Brunch - nice live music being played with outdoor seating available. Interior is dark and bar like. Good food! Reasonable prices. My order was slightly different than the menu description. Not a big deal, however, I was missing the Sweet Potato Hash that comes with the Salmon Eggs Benedict and the hollandaise was missing but it was still yummy. When I asked my server Kyle about the sweet potato hash (instead of the fingerling potato wedges) he was happy to accommodate but references not realizing it's what I had requested. The menu didn't give a choice...it says sweet potato hash. I think their menu and register just needs tweaking. I didn't think to check my check before leaving which I was charged an additional $6 charge for the Sweet Potato Hash that is suppose to come with the meal. Check your check before leaving. :) I called the restaurant and spoke with Romana - the on duty Manager. She not only jumped right on making a correction but went above and beyond. Thank you!

Yelp
A West Palm Beach classic! Hullabaloo is consistently amazing. The atmosphere is so unique - it's a perfect balance between intimate and lively. They are known for their one-of-a-kind cocktails; whoever came up with these recipes is a true mixologist genius! All of their food is delicious as well. I'm a big fan of their pizzas (which are also one-of-a-kind). We were recently here (during October) and the whole place was decorated for Halloween which was a cool touch. I'd recommend Hullabaloo for any occasion. :)

Yelp
Parking is a pain and I ended up finding a spot only 1 block away on a Monday night. The whole area is still under construction so if you need to circle back to try another area for a potential spot, plan on touring the neighborhood. It is located right next to the other restaurant coincidentally that I had picked for an upcoming Wednesday lunch. Once there, I saw most patrons sitting outside, so I did as well. With my bad luck, I was first seated at a table literally right next to the street where cars are idle waiting on the stoplight, and after smelling fumes for 2 light cycles, I decided it was time to switch tables. Luckily a 4 top was leaving right next to the building, so I took that. I ordered the salmon and a burger, a local lager on draft and the banana bread pudding. Salmon was pretty standard, nothing exciting here. The best part was switching to the brussel sprouts as a side for this dish. They're really good. I asked the waitress about the burger before ordering it, but she was sorta clueless and not willing to go and ask the chef, so I went ahead and ordered it and figured it was probably good. When it came to the table, it was obviously not handformed, but it was a fresh patty. It was good, but I just ended up leaving most of the bread by the end and eating the bacon and meat only. The banana bread pudding was probably the best dish of all. It was getting late by the time it came out since the waitress failed to place the order to the kitchen. I only ate a few bites and took the rest back to the hotel. Eating it the next morning, it was still just as delicious. If it wasn't for all the mishaps by our waitress, I would have given them 4 stars.

Yelp
Friendly service, great food, reasonable prices, comfortable environment. Ingredients were fresh, flavors were spot on - really couldn't have been much happier with this place.

Yelp
Great place to eat and enjoy friends and family! Food is outstanding! I don't think I have had better crab cakes ever and their pork belly appetizer is the bomb! I had the pizza and man was it delicious! Hubby had the pasta bolognese, and son in law had the French dip sandwich which he left nothing. That comes with fried zucchini and man are they good. There is a long wait if you do not have a reservation, so I suggest getting one. Staff is SUPER friendly and they even allow dogs, outside of course. This is a must try if around the area. Sooooooo delicious!

Yelp
Went here last night with another couple. Cool street lined with restaurants and boutiques. Street parking can be a challenge, but there is a garage nearby. This place has a cool bohemian 70s vibe. They feature indoor and outdoor seating, and have a bar that can accommodate about 15 people. It is a little tight indoors. 70s classic rock is playing in the background. We were seated promptly, but nobody came over to offer menus or take drink orders. We finally grabbed someone and about 5 minutes later our waiter finally showed up. Two of us had featured drinks on their special cocktail menu ( me the Desi Arnez) and they were great. We shared a margherita pizza as an appetizer, very good. Mains took quite a while to come out. My friend's wife had the chicken parmigiana and loved it. My wife had the salmon and said that was delicious as well. I had the short ribs with ravioli and it was soooo good. My buddy ordered the chicken sandwich , but ended receiving the roast pork sandwich. We couldn't find our server to replace it , so he ended up eating it and said it was good. Server finally showed up half way through and offered to replace it , but too late. Listen, food, cocktails and ambience were a five, but service was not great. That's why a 4 . Will try again,

Yelp
Kind of a local San Fran vibe. Nice wine selection. Excellent Pizza. Great prices (for the area). Helpful, friendly staff. Mostly great customers with the exception of the weird-o real angry regulars with those two reserved seats to the side, who think they own the place lol. Maybe they do. They actually like they're out of a San Fran protest in 1973 lol. I've had that lady freak out at me for sitting close to her totally empty "reserved" chair. And the staff will not protect you from them lol. Trust me. Other than that, I love it here. I would move in if those two would just leave lol.

Yelp
This is a fun spot on Clematis. All the food is well thought out and tasty. Attentive service always.

Yelp
Shout out to the staff at the Hullabaloo. The music was jammin and the food was slammin!

Yelp
Hullabaloo is my favorite place for an incredible Italian-inspired meal and craft cocktails. Their wood-fired pizzas are phenomenal, and the atmosphere is fun yet laid-back. It's a great spot for date nights or dinner with friends.

Yelp
Long established restaurant now just yards away from Brightline West Palm Beach station. Been several times over the years. Getting better. Used to be slightly grumpy service and ok food. Overly crowded in Winter but still on the 500 block which is by far the best part of Clemetis Street. This time in July on a Saturday night- not crowded and pleasant host. Just had four appetizers and all good to excellent. So-so pork meat balls 7/10, fried shrimp " as good as any I have had", mozzarella and old style tomatoes again as good as it gets but plenty and nicely presented with pesto on bread and finally wings which were amazing for simple dish. Meaty a little tangy and sweet. Relatively small inside but a few tables outside to watch people walk around and go to local bars, restaurants and music club. Perhaps only strange thing was a street person walked by and asked if I had finished with my tomato on my serving plate after we we're waiting for the check. "He asked if he could have it!?" Ofcourse yes but was not interested in the mozzarella so I guess a vegan?

Yelp
Chicken parm was great, good portion size. Carbonara was mid-tier. Great assortment of cocktails. In a fun part of town, the adjacent bars are a nice option to hit pre or post meal. Service was great, and vibe was cool.

Yelp
So we made reservations at the new (vegan) sister restaurant, 've and it was closed for reservations. Walking by, we realized we made happy hour so we sat at the bar. The bartenders were super friendly and the orders came out really quick. The restaurant has such a cool vibe and I'm glad we stopped in! Unfortunately, there wasn't much for me to eat being vegan but we sat there and enjoyed ourselves for the happy hour apps. I would highly recommend and we will definitely return!

Yelp
Happened to stop in here for Happy Hour and Wow! Great drinks, friendly staff, chill vibe, overall great experience. All the cocktails are cleverly named to fit the music theme, which I thought was pretty cool. I'd never heard of this place before walking by but I can be sure that we will be back! Such great deals on happy hour, ALL cocktails are half off! I tried the Espresso Martini aka Elliott Smith, the Cucumber Cooler aka Billy Holiday, the Gin Cocktail aka Biz Markie and the Chocolate Old Fashioned aka Charlie Daniels. All so good, honestly couldn't tell you what was better. Can't wait to return to try some of the other craft cocktails.

Yelp
Walked in and sat at the bar on a Sunday. Asked the bartender for dinner recommendations and ended up ordering the Braised Short Rib. I'm so impressed with how delicious it was. Putting the Short Rib over Ravioli is genius and the Gorgonzola cheese on top was a great finish and very flavorful. I definitely recommend trying this for dinner. - Also finished with the gelato of the day which was Oreo my favorite. "BRAISED SHORT RIB ricotta ravioli, heirloom tomato, spinach, mushrooms, bordelaise sauce, crumbled gorgonzola" As for parking? I recommend the garage on clematis which is next to the train tracks.
